Purchased the Soundtouch 300, rear surround speakers, and this subwoofer. It has completely transformed the way we enjoy movies & even regular tv. The sound is truly amazing and worth the money.

I didn't think the Bose soundtouch 300 soundbar could get any better but paired with the Bose Acoustimass 300 It will totally amaze you! The sound is awesome! And it is so easy to hook up. No wires to run. If you have any questions that the manual doesn't include you can always go to the Bose website and download very detailed instructions on how to do anything you want or even call them,. It doesn't get any better then that!

Ignore the reviews about no highs or lows, must be Bose. This unit mated to the Bose wireless sub produces a magical experience. The self tuning mode from Bose is genius and works wonderfully. The soundbar provides a superior soundstage with superb left, right, and center channel distinctions. Powerful booming sound from the soundbar by itself, but adding the sub is mandatory. Netflix movies sound amazing.

The product came in the mail and I was instantly excited. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it in, read the manual, and connected it without a hassle. As soon as it was connected, I could hear the crisp clear quality it added to the bass. It looks incredibly nice; I've turned it into a display piece in my room, have recieved a couple comments on how nice it looks.

I was skeptical about the sound due a Large living room and a high vaulted ceiling. The bass fill the whole room while playing music perfectly. The sub added amazing sound with movies. The bass seemed to crawl across the floor filling the room, it didn’t sound like it was coming from behind the tv but surrounded me.

I absolutely love the acoustimass base subwoofer combined with the soundbar. The sound quality is amazing and the subwoofer really fills out the sound compared to the soundbar alone. Wireless connects which is great since you can place it anywhere you have a power outlet. Can't wait to add the 2 additional speakers to complete the set.

There is a vast difference between hearing a storm opposed to feeling the thunder shake you and lightning crackle across the sky causing goosebumps on your arm. The reason I bought this is solely for that immersive feeling. I haven't found a soundbar/ subwoofer yet that can compare to this experience. The only way you can get this experience or better is simply buying a decent receiver, towers such as DT, ML etc or book shelves and a good sub such as the martin logan dynamo. But if you were looking to avoid the extra wires and saving space....this is IT! The soundbar is amazing but this sub takes you to a different level and for movie lovers this makes the movie theaters an unnecessary trip. Go to best buy press PLAY and you'll take one home!

This is my very 1st post on an item I bought & I was not trying to buy this item because I wanted to save some money. After getting the sound bar home and listening to it for 2 days it was missing something & that something was this bass module. What a difference this thing makes once its paired up with the sound bar. Amazing sound. I hear stuff now that I wasn't even hearing before with the regular tv speakers. The rumble sound this thing makes is wonderful. This is a must have. After reading all the reviews I had to get it & see for myself. Great purchase.

Subwoofer is great and sounds amazing. Comes in a very secure and nice packaging as well. Can connect wirelessly or via aux cable on the acoustimass port behind the subwoofer. Rating 4 stars and not 5 because the subwoofer signals disconnects from the soundbar very easily. If the tv begins to go into sleep mode, it disconnects. I then have to turn off the system and must unplug the sub, plug back in and then turn on again. gets frustrating after so many times doing it.

This Subwoofer is one that I would recommend to anyone who loves the sound of great music...it makes the music so much clearer....it's a really great addition to the sound bar...my listening experience will never be the same...This Subwoofer is all in all the best one out there.

I only have the sub and soundbar for now but just the 2 of these put out a great sound by themselves. If you haven't heard this on display at best buy I'd say stop in and give a listen. You probably won't leave without it

It was super. Sound quality and clarity was amazing. It was my dream to buy this and I did it.

We just got the soundbar at first, but it just wasn't quite "it" without this. Now our home has theater sound!

It is not required but if you love watching movies at home like me, then I highly recommend this. It creates a cinematic experience at home. For me it was worth it but it totally depends upon you.

I received this to review and I couldn't even set it up there was too much to try to put together , other than I've heard it works well it's just not for me

I had received the product about 3 weeks back. I set it up immediately to enjoy the rich bass everyone was raving about in the reviews. I went through the steps in the manual to connect (wirelessly) the sub, but several tries later the white light on the SoundTouch did not remain on - after several blinks. Finally, I went over their forums and found that only the sub's white light would remain on and the one on the Soundbar will go off. Then, I started to play some music (I had my soundbar connected to my desktop) from Foobar, though Soundbar gave the output, as it usually did - I did not feel any bass/effect from the sub. Then on to the forum again - my issues were similar to the one specified here - https://community.bose.com/t5/SoundTouch-Speakers/SoundTouch-300-sub-surround-sync-problems/td-p/19446 Then, I connected my aux cable (not given with the sub or soundbar) from soundtouch to Soundbar, then too there was no effect at all. Wait for it, I realized late that there was just a feeble output from the sub. So, I tried to contact their hotline support - 877-751-8329, during their normal working hours, but their automated message kept saying that the office is closed and I should be contacting them during normal working hours. Duh?! I was calling them between 9am to 9pm. :-P After several retries, I accidentally kept the call going, and then I was patched to a waitlist, and after hanging for 30mins, I disconnected. This happened for couple of more tries. I was flustered! Currently, a Bose rep said he would help troubleshoot it tomorrow (1/6). Let's see how that goes. I'll post and update soon.
