This is a must have if you’ve made the investment for a Bose soundbar. This just adds the depth and immersiveness that makes a surround sound a surround sound. Looks gorgeous with its elegant glass top finish

I always had mixed feelings when reading reviews, but the Bose Bass Module is the real deal. Your windows/walls will shake (not horrifyingly), but you'll definitely experience a theatre feel. The bass is superb and I highly recommend this item. Very content.

In the search for a sound-bar, sub-woofer and rear wireless speakers for my new 75 inch TV, my local Best Buy rep recommended a sound-bar and related speakers from Definitive Technology. However, the sound was ok for music and awful for the TV and movies, plus the rear speakers were actually not compatible with the Sound-Bar. Frustrated, I returned the Definitive to the store and started again. I listened to the Samsung and Bose systems and decided on the Bose SoundTouch Sound-bar, Accoustimass Sub-Woofer and the SoundTouch rear speakers. I could not be happier - the room is filled with crystal clear sound at all volume levels, streaming music sound is mind-blowing and best of all - the dogs bark at the sound coming from the rear speakers and my children ask us to turn the volume down! The tables have been firmly turned in our house! Don't look further than Bose, in my opinion.

Bose is a bit expensive but well worth the money. The sound is top notch.

This speaker connected easily to the Sound bar and provides superb sound.

I purchased the Bose system shortly after purchasing my new flat screen tv. The sound was so flat and hollow. After hooking up the nose system it is now deep with full surround and deep base. You can actually feel the base in the floor. Love it.

If you are purchasing the bass module, you are or have purchased the soundbar. The sound quality and look of the soundbar and bass are excellent. Easy to setup and program. The bass module is a great accessory, and a must have for movie lovers.

Unlike most other Bose products I own -- and it's quite a list -- the Soundtouch 300 sound bar and Acoustimass 300 subwoofer system seems to be the most unreliable with respect to connections with each other and other devices. I don't know if it's a problem with the Bose HDMI ARC (audio return channel) circuitry or a flaw in the whole ARC concept, but every once in a while I get no sound at all from either speaker, and have to perform a hard power reset of my TV (Sony 930D) to get it to work again. Less frequently, but frustrating nonetheless, is when the sound bar randomly refuses to communicate with the subwoofer, forcing a repairing procedure (this has happened twice). Both of these issues have happened often enough to cause me to question this product's stability. With that complaint out of the way, I will say that the subwoofer sounds quite good and does a very good job of expanding the overall "fullness" of the sound coming from the soundbar, particularly with movies and music. This is why I am giving the subwoofer four stars. Oh, one other annoyance with this system: why won't Bose provide a way to disable the auto-shutoff function? Many times I get a phone call that causes me to pause playback. If the call lasts more than 15 minutes, the sound bar forces a shutdown of itself, the subwoofer and the TV that's connected via HDMI ARC. Turning it back on is usually the point when audio refuses to work and requires a hard reboot of the TV. Bose folks: PLEASE provide a way to disable auto-shutdown in the SoundTouch app!
