Module has great sound and I also like that it is Bluetooth

If you are looking to purchase this woofer, you likely either purchased the playbar or looking to get one. If you already own the playbar, and can afford the extra expense, stop reading and buy the woofer. You wont regret it. If you, like me are confused between the Sonos and the Bose systems, read on. I initially purchased a Sonos Playbar with its woofer and set it up at home. The setup was extremely easy using their app and sound that emanated from the Sonos system sounded a bit processed (for movies and talk), but AMAZING for songs. I loved the fact that you could place it flat, or mount it flush based on your preference. The app was extremely easy to use and worked with my other streaming services without any hassles. However my biggest gripe were 1) no option for bluetooth 2) only an optical cable connection. In comes the Bose playbar and woofer. The audio is much real sounding, and dialogue is much crisper. Setup is slightly more difficult, and the Bose app is "NOWHERE" within miles of the Sonos app. However, the benefit is that I can now stream youtube music, etc from my device via bluetooth onto the speakers and listen to practically anything. Other reviews talk about the pros and cons of Sonos and its issues with Dolby and sound processing, and true 5.1 if you add surround speakers. In order to preserve the possibility of making it a true surround system, I went with the Bose system instead of the Sonos. I do however feel that Bose's history of not having legacy compatibility with their old products might come to haunt me.

Very easy to setup and enjoy the sound. The Bose app can have more features like the remote.

The SoundTouch sound bar is a very nice product, but it greatly benefits from the addition of this sub. Pricey but a perfect match, The AdaptIQ system seems to do very good job of matching the sound to your listening room. Be careful with the microphone headset; the long wire seems fragile, so watch your feet as you move from place to place setting up the sound. It would be easy to break the wire.

This is my most honest review due to the cost of this product. This, along with the Bose Soundbar, produced a theater like sound. This sub was spot on with the bass and it was crisp and loud. I only gave 4 stars due to the fact I believe it's way overpriced and you cannot add on to this system. For a system that costs almost 2k, there should be more options to add additional components, such as Dolby Atmos.

I already have the surround bar and I really tough I had the best surround system for my TV but adding this wireless bass to my soundbar is amazing!!! The sound is perfect, crispy (exactly what my husband said) you can hear everything just like when you go to the movie theater is perfect! If you are looking to complete your surround system is a must to have a bass module you are going to love it!!!!

Great product, smooth deep bass, sounds good and feels good, yes you actually feel the base, connected easily to surround speaker with no problem.

At first I was not very impressed by the sound quality. It felt like the trebles were overpowering and the sound lacked mid ranges and bass. I was shocked since many people online were raving about the sub. I did some more research online and quickly found a way to adjust the bass. As soon as I did it the sound got much better and we were sold. For its size it is a pretty impressive system and it transformed our living room into a movie theater. I love the sub, it produces loud and deep basses that make you feel right in the middle of the action.

Love the look of the unit. Great sound. Really kicks the bass when the right song or movie is played. Thunderous sound for video and deep texture for audio. Complements the Soundtouch 300 extremely well.

I've had the Sonos Soundbar & Sonos sub along with two play 1s for about 2 years now. When Bose announced their attempt to break into the Sonos's world, I immediately jumped on this and bought the ST 300, sub and two satellite speakers. Overall, Im quite happy with the Bose set up but at the end of the day, Im tipping the scale to the old Sonos set up that I had for years. For the type of music I listen to, the Sonos is a better fit for me (deeper bass). I like the Bose due to the fact that it support BT but the app sucks! Bose engineers, are you guys listening?

The set up was easy, and before long I was blown away by the sound quality! the subwoofer is a MUST! Well worth the money, and more balanced than most. It's the first time I've had to turn the bass adjustment DOWN! (and I replaced my acoustimass 15 system with this!) One minor complaint: the soundtouch app was updated shortly after I put my system into service, and I have not yet figured out how to play from my music library (on iPhone or iPod) through the app. I'm sure there's a way, but for now I start in the bluetooth section of settings on my device and go from there. Having the ability to play music on the Soundtouch 300 in conjunction with my (2) Soundtouch 10 speakers (kitchen and bedroom) is GREAT!
