Bought to pair with the Bose Smartbar 300. Setup was easy and adjusting the levels in the app was fairly straight forward. Has nice sound.

Like every other Bose product I have ever owned, this subwoofer is not going to leave you wanting more bass. It won’t do extremely loud bass without serious distortion, but it will do good movie bass without overpowering the rest of the effects. The only drawback is that I am used to a knob to adjust the “volume” for the subwoofer, but this unit is controlled through the Bose Music app that also controls the sound bar (500 and 700 units both) and the noise cancelling headphones (the 700 headphones only). With a little tweaking you can get great sound with a clean separation between the highs and lows so the voices don’t get drowned out by the other action.

Love the thunderous bass, and when paired with the soundbar, you really do not need to go to the movies.

The year is 2020, if you have an older model Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar or let's say Bose Soundbar 500, get this Bass Module 500 before they're gone. They will stop selling this particular model and future bass module models may not be compatible with your soundbar unit. Believe me! this addtion to your soundbar system will double the satisfaction of the pricey purchase. During the "break-in period" play some music with known loud bass like techno,electric or disco lol! this will stretch the speaker's diaphragm and will sound even better. Mine flawlessly sweeps the low frequency deep and loud. Movies sounds good! and can get loud!

Great deep bass but a little expensive for the full price. Nice that it is universal with all Bose speakers. It does not unfortunately have wireless compatibility with the Bose TV speaker but it can be connected via aux. Ideal for smaller rooms like a Master Bedroom but anything bigger I would recommend the 700 module.

This subwoofer is great powerful sound no distortion and has strong wireless connectivity that you can place anywhere it’s a great edition for my Bose 600 sound bar

Expensive but worth the price! Makes a huge difference in the sound bar sound. Looks nice and is small. Highly recommended.

This little guy packs a punch. I paired this with my Bose Soundbar. Hookup is very easy. My only wish would be sub control on the soundbar remote.

I'm not an audiophile so this is for average people. I recently bought a new tv with a Bose soundbar. My salesman recommend I not get the lowend sound bar so I could upgrade to an added subwoofer. So I got the 500 model soundbar. . After I got it home I wasn't satisfied with the sound, so I got a subwoofer. I got the subwoofer and a 3.5 mm cable so I could plug it in instead go through the hassle of addig it with an app. I plugged it in to the soundbar and the subwoofer and it worked. I'm happy with the sound. I think it's a good safe buy unless you want to read The Absolute Sound for two years before making up your mind.

Its small, but does a good job putting out balanced bass to go with the Bose 700 Soundbar.

this pairs simply with the bose soundbar, it has very slick and smooth control, and sounds really good. if you go with bose soundbar you should probably get this, too.

Bangs but it’s not a stand alone product you need the sound bar for the subwoofer to work. If you can afford the sound bar 900 it changes the way you watch a movie. The subwoofer and sound bar enhance movies but this is the wrong choice for someone looking for raw subwoofer power listening to music. Almost anytime there’s a car scene or someone knocking on the door i forget it’s the system and check outside. Bose is as good as it gets

Definitely adds to the sound from the sound bar, but it is definitely made for a small room

I like it but i wish i would’ve got the 700 instead for more bass dont get me wrong this little champ is great though and not so big great for small space.
