The sound that this compact unit produces is amazing. Crystal clear with no distortion no matter how loud you turn up the volume. The only downside is that there is no individual volume for the unit itself. It is set at a preset volume.

The Bose Base Module 500 is an excellent accessory to the Bose Soundbar system. It really adds bass that you can feel. The wireless connection is convenient with locating the unit near where you typically sit to enjoy your entertainment. And yep the best compliment is you can feel and hear the bass sounds that you may not have know were present.

I'm glad Bose came out with this sub and the 500 line in general. This paired with the Soundbar 500 work really well and perform so much better than the Soundbar 300 system sold by Costco and for a lot cheaper. The 500 works great for the size of my current living room. I plan to move it to the bedroom eventually and get the 700 for the living room eventually.

Excellent sound quality and performance. The app allows for easily manipulation of the base level for a real theatre like experience its positioned in the room properly. Highly recommend.

Bought this one to go along with the 900 atmos soundbar instead of the Bose 700…. I can’t say enough anout this smaller one.. It’s Amazingly Awesome!! More than enough Boom!

Bose continually captivates me with the sound that they produce from their products. When hooking up any new home theater system, the first thing we do is put on Jurassic park (where the T-Rex escapes its enclosure) to determine whether dinosaurs still walk the earth. I must say that this Bose subwoofer coupled with a Bose sound bar 500 does not disappoint! The ground trembles, glasses shake & furniture rattles and…the T-Rex still inspires fear and awe! With every step the base only seems to drop lower and lower & ultimately, we are satisfied that dinosaurs still walk the earth. You can’t go wrong with his Bose sound woofer and any one of the sound bars. And, if any complaint I have, it’s that they are a little bit more expensive than I’d like…notwithstanding it’s a great system to have for any home except townhomes. (You’re going to really upset your neighbors off if you crank this up in the house).

Great Subwoofer. Just perfect for a small living room. The sound quality is very crisp, the bass not too heavy. The setup could have been a little easier connecting it to the sound bar. However, once connected, together they changed the room ambiance in terms of watching movies and playing other media.

Pleased with the size, quality and performance of the Bose subwoofer. Best Buy made the shopping experience easy.

Got this when it was on sale around Black Friday. It enhances the sound from the soundbar nicely!

The sound is great, but not so powerfull, great quality

So far I had this sub for a couple of months now and it delivers! I have the setting set at 0 because it actually makes the whole house rattle and my wife don't like that to much. However when she put and about, I would put on a movie and release the power of the bass module. Fair warning, it booms and I mean it booms! Don't let objects that are prone to vibration rattle off and break. I took it another level and placed a splitter so I can have duel module. I figure hard lining it would prevent any signal from being disruptive.

As soon as I connected it to my sound bar I could hear a significant difference in bass. It is extremely easy to set up with either Bluetooth of AUX cord

This sounds module sounds very good. The base very good and make your house shake.

It’s perfect for my bedroom. Bass is nice and not over powering. I have it paired with my Bose 600 soundbar. Would definitely recommend

Loud and clear bass so deep and clear like a live concert

just the right amount of bass for the basement! This was all we needed (considered the larger module, but this was the "just right"

Changed the was i listen to everything, even the news. Everything we’ve watched just has a better sound than we could've ever imagined. Im positive the 700 version is better, but if you have a small space, the 500 is perfect!
