This sub is awesome! Has the deepest lows I have heard to date. A small footprint with Large thumping base. If you like base that adds to the listening experience this will produce it!!

The bose soundbar 600 was lacking the bass and this thing is powerful enough to rumble the whole room. Very easy connectivity and setup processthrough the Bose music app.It might be just me but I think it does provide more vocal clarity once added to the sb600 for some reason.

Bought this to go with the Bose 600 soundbar to replace my 5.1 component system since I downsized. The subwoofer does add more spatial imaging, depth and range to the 600. Good for smaller rooms, apartments and my townhome. Big room, no neighbors attached, want thundering lows…get a bigger sub. The speaker itself is small, so don’t expect thundering room shaking low end. Unit is more like a full range driver in a Bose designed enclosure. Has a tight lower end. Streamed music through the 600 bar is greatly improved with the sub. Very small footprint so it fits anywhere. Can only control the sub volume through the Bose app which means you have to always have your phone handy.

This is a great little sub for the price. I have an office space that I use as a secondary entertainment location in the house, mostly for news, background music, and short-term TV viewing, so I wasn't looking for earth shaking or a bank-breaking acoustic system (for this particular space). That said, I was seeking a sub that has a reputation for quality, as well as easy connectivity, at a reasonable price. If those are your parameters, then you're in luck. This sub is for you. I matched this sub with a 300 Bose soundbar. The combo is perfect for my office space. I would go out on a limb and say that it would likely be great for apartments, condos, and smaller rooms. The sub connects through the bose app and has good versatility for customizing the sound you want. For such a small box, it generates full, deep, punchy bass. I can turn it up and don't hear any distortion and it doesn't seem like the sub is struggling either. Again, put that in the context of a physically small sub. This sub will be plenty for most rooms less than 15'x15' especially if you strategically place it in a corner of the room. The only reason I am giving this review a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating is because I struggled to get the sub (Bluetooth) connected to the soundbar and TV. It should be easier and more consistent.

The Bose soundbar is a nice speaker to have in a small living room or bedroom. Fills the room with just enough sound. The subwoofer provides that much needed bass for the speaker. Installation wasn't too difficult. Just follow the steps via the app. I chose to go the wireless route. Sounds fine to me. I haven't had any issues yet. I did purchase the surround speakers as well, and everything compliments each other nicely.

Added this to complete the sound quality of soundbar 900. Small and easy to install compare to my old AM10. Provides both wired and wireless but wireless works good too and is clean with no need for the sub to be next to sound bar

Good sound but the lowest frequencies are lost. Anything below 50hz is slightly lost and Anything below 35hz is completely lost. But fot most movies this sub packs a punch for it's compact size. I paired this with the bose smart soundbar and it's a great combo. I got this for $100 off and I reviewed on that price.

I was looking to pair my Bose 900 soundbar with either the Bass 700 or Bass 500. Finally settled for 500 since I wanted it for my living room and just wanted to add enough bass. The Bass 500 surpases my expectations by delivering a punchy bass even for the small size, both for movies and movies i cast from my phone. In fact have to keep the bass below 50 which is the deafult setting. My living room is 17 x 15 feet and it fill it up surprsingly well. The rumbles can be felt in the kids bedroom above the living room. Plus the small size fit the gap i wanted to put it perfectly. I recommend going for this over the 700 unless you want to go even above the bass this provides.

Works great, i have a small room and can't put the level above 50 or the walls will shake. So this would be just fine for a medium room or bigger i think. Wouldn't even bother getting the 700 sub, get this amd save a few hundred bucks. Connects flawlessly with my bose 900 soundbar and 700 surrounds, never disconnects. Thw whole system together sounds unbelievably good when watching 4K discs, even stremaing too

Awesome sound - after moving it from the far corner of the room to the wall adjacent to the entrance of my Family Room. Even with a Wireless Mesh Router (Lynksys) connectivity to the far corner of the room resulted in a) frequent drop outs and b) just too loud to be seated in front of! Paired with a Bose Soundbar 500 - this is an awesome combo. After becoming accustomed to the Bose Music App, it's relatively straight forward to set the EQ for the Soundbar and Speaker Level of the Subwoofer. I'm very satisfied with this combination as it fills out my modest 12 x 20 Family Room nicely. Another positive: aside from being aesthetically pleasing to look at, the small foot print of the Bass Module 500 makes it less obtrusive to look at compared with the large, 10 year old Sony Subwoofer I've upgraded from. I'm considering the addition of Bose Surround Speaker to complete the set, but the layout of the room is such they would be placed conspicuously close to the viewer and may not serve as an enhancement (quite the opposite I suspect.) May give this option further consideration.

Great smaller subwoofer. Didn’t need to much power and this is perfect for my smaller living room

I have the larger bass module for my living room, and got this for my bedroom just to add a little depth of sound. OMG!!!! The quality far exceeds expectations, was super easy to pair with my Smart Soundbar 900, and now it sounds like a true theater for late night movies in bed!!! Is also very discrete, I placed it in the corner of the room Bose is my go to for my whole house!

I purchased the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 with Voice Assistance to replace a Bose Acoustimass-5 Series II speaker system that I had been using since 1994. I chose not to buy the Bass Module at that time. As I had read in reviews, it didn't provide the bass I was used to so I purchased the bass module. What a difference! Not only can you hear the bass, at times you can even feel it. It was very easy to set up and adjustments are made through an app on your phone. I highly recommend buying the 2 together. It makes for an amazing experience when watching television or listening to music.

The Bose Bass Module added bass to my wireless Bose 600 sound bar. I can tell the difference.

It was a quick setup and sync to my Bose soundbar. This subwoofer adds the low-end boost I wasn’t getting with the soundbar alone, and its compact size helped win approval from my wife.

Paired this with the smart ultra soundbar. Was putting it in a small room so wanted a small unit. Puts out a great sound in the small space. For a large room may lack power to pack a punch.

Had to pick it up after purchasing the smart sound bar. Makes all the difference and definitely worth it, even if a bit pricey.

Open box purchase that I would have made regardless. The bass is amazing and linked up to my sound bar over the app so easily.
