The deep base pairs well with my Bose soundbar. Bose always delivers quality products. Extremely happy with purchase.

I’ve been buying Bose all my life and this time it has failed me. I bought the soundbar 900 which pretty good along with the bass module 700 and that failed. I kept hearing a rattling noise I’ve disconnected it several times and nothing. I had to pay an extra fee to receive a new one. So let’s see how this one works.
I am very sorry to hear that your Bass Module 700 was not working as expected. It is always a good idea to reset the bass module and soundbar for a minute. If you can hear a rattling sound, we recommend to move the subwoofer a bit further to avoid interferences, to remove any item that can be causing this sound around the system and lastly to try connecting the module using the interconnect cable to the soundbar.
Best regards, Lau - Bose Customer Support

Best purchase for my new house. I first bought the 300 soundbar with 500 subwoofer and was not empressed. I returned them and got the 700 soundbar and two 700 subwoofers and wow. Love the bass and so does my back

Look elsewhere if you are looking for a sub that will give you Bass that is noticable. I paired with Bose soundbar and and it is not very inmpressive. A little boost, but definitely not worth the price. I guess the price is for the brand.
I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your Bass Module 700. Please make sure to setup the ADAPTiQ in the Bose app, to optimize the sound to your rooms. You can also adjust the tones of your soundbar and bass module directly in the Bose app.

I paired this Bose 700 Subwoofer with my Bose 700 Soundbar and it has been really impressive so far, here is what I have experienced so far:
PROS:
- Out of the box this thing is visually very appealing. It's somewhat smaller than previous wireless subwoofer's that I have had, but it's by far the heaviest one I have had.
- It is very simple to set up, you do it all through the Bose Mobile App that is required to set up the Soundbar and Subwoofer
- The Sound / Bass is absolutely incredible. It really acts as a deep, rich aspect of your music or movie listening experience rather than over doing it and drowning out the noise. It really helps you feel apart of the sound and I am really happy with it's performance so far
CONS:
- Although set up was simple, getting there was not. The Bose App was difficult to work with at first and to discover my products. Once I got connected it was easy - so really this is a software related function more so than the device itself, so it could be fixed with an App Update.
- Part of me likes how they are selling the Bose 700 Soundbar and 700 Subwoofer separately as some may only want the soundbar and want to save money. But to me it's really necessary for them to be paired together and it is pricey all together.
- Speaking of Price, this a high end home theater system Bose is selling and they chose NOT to incorporate Dolby Atmos? That is swing and a miss to me - if they added Dolby Atmos I think it would attract even more buyers given the market push for this type of sound format.
BOTTOM LINE: If you purchased the Bose 700 Soundbar, this is a must have. Although it's lacking Dolby Atmos support, it still sounds so good that it will really elevate everything you listen to through this speaker system and be worth the purchase.

I don't know how to describe it. I can't tell if it's a sound system from a vehicle or my home. My neighbors have complained and I barely have it cranked up. It's well worth it with the soundbar. I am impressed. Bose did it!!
