Pairs very nicely with the 900 soundbar. Can't speak to the wireless setup, but the wired setup is literally plug and play - you just plug it in and the soundbar immediately recognizes it. Of note, it only comes with a power cable and not the aux cord you would need for a wired setup. Produces a nice clean low end without distortion, and the difference between bass module vs no bass module is very apparent in movies. Presumably you've already bought into the Bose ecosystem if you're looking at bass module reviews, but there is always the argument about value between a soundbar setup and a 'real' surround sound setup. While there is a price premium that comes with it being Bose, I don't think it's egregiously overpriced or anything as the performance (of the bass module and the Bose 900 soundbar in general) is excellent despite the inherent limitations that soundbars have when compared to other surround sound setups.

I paired this Bose 700 Subwoofer with my Bose 700 Soundbar and it has been really impressive so far, here is what I have experienced ,It is very simple to set up, you do it all through the Bose Mobile App that is required to set up the Soundbar and Subwoofer The Sound / Bass is absolutely incredible. It really acts as a deep, rich aspect of your music or movie listening experience rather than over doing it and drowning out the noise. It really helps you feel apart of the sound and I am really happy with it's performance so far

Added this to our new Ultra Smart Soundbar and the added bass is awesome! The soundbar has fairly decent base to start with so this adds some real depth to the experience. The size is a big bonus!

The Bose Module 700 wireless Home Theater Subwoofer produces great bass and sound. I like to turn the bass all the way up to get more of an in theater experience. The range of bass sounds great and it puts you within your watching experience. Its the best sound bar I have purchased so far. I like the fact that its wireless so I can place it anywhere in the room for the best sound. It syncs easily with my sound more wish is also refreshing!

This product is better than any other base module I have ever had it is so much power for such a small little box I am honestly amazed

I bought the full Soundbar 700 with this Subwoofer and the 700 Surround Sound Speakers. While I know that Bose is not a top choice for audiophiles, I found this system to meet my needs. I was looking for compact wireless system that also has a compact aesthetic for my small home. The sound is crisp and really made my movie watching more enjoyable. It doesn't have Atmos but my untrained ears probably won't be able to tell the difference. Only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that the price of the entire system is quite pricey. I was willing to invest the extra money but wished it was a bit more reasonably priced.

Impressive bass, good deep sound, easy to setup, the color blends in well. Does not take up much space.

Loving the bass. I always wanted this but always contemplated bcuz of the price. Found an open box option, not only did I save money but also got something I love

I purchased the Bose Ultra soundbar and decided to get the bass module instead. I can truly tell (and feel) the different with the module. I purchased an open-box module for cheaper and it took a while (20 minutes or so) to get it to pair using the app. In my case, I occasionally notice a crackle sound coming from the module when in use. With open- items, you never know what you will get. I am happy with the product so far (minus the cracking sounds). My room is medium size so I can feel the sound of movies and games. I would recommend buying if you purchase the Bose soundbar. It is costly, but the build quality and sound quality are awesome. A new module may be better than an open-box item. If you do get an open box, I would recommend a product deemed as "excellent." If it does not work, take it back. I hope this helps.

This is an excellent addition to a bose soundbar. Linking the system is (setup/pairing) is a breeze in the app. It sounds great and adds a nice low end dimension to movies and music. It is expensive, but in this instance, you get what you pay for. You can find this product on a slight discount from time to time at BB, typically during holidays.

We previously had the soundbar 300 and when we got the bass module, it made a big difference. Since we upgraded to the 700 soundbar, we thought the same would apply for the 700 subwoofer and we were right. We love that it all is so easy to adjust right from the app. The added bass really makes gaming, movies and music fill the room. I'd recommend this to everyone.

Absolutely must have if you own Bose ultra sound bar. The deep low bass is good enough to shake the room. Pros - connect wireless with the sound bar ( you can also use wired connections sold separately), looks premium, good bass to compliment the bar. Cons- little on the pricy side ( but again, all good things are pricey ).

Definitely adds to the overall audio experience, feel like we a mini movie theater experience in our home. The module is not over-powering in terms of its size. Like the idea that it connects with the soundbar wirelessly. Fantastic addition to the overall sound experience for our new 4K TV.

Awesome addition to my Soudtouch 300 soundbar and surround speakers. Bought this after a lot of thought and waiting, and I am not disappointed at all. The setup is real easy, took me less than 10mins to open the box and get it going. This module produces really loud bass and goes down pretty low in frequencies. Initially I thought this was just doing a 20Hz min (based on a YouTube video test), but then when watching "The Bad Batch" on Disney+, it made the wall tremor (as I could hear the trembling of stuff in the wall shelf) when the sound was not noticed that much, so yeah it does go below the normal hearing range, which is awesome. When it is in play, you really cannot say if the bass was from the module or did it come from the soundbar or the surround speakers. That's Bose doing what it does best! Highly recommended.

I Love it! - Sound is phenomenal and it puts out more bass than you think it would for its size. Yes its pricey but I believe you get what you pay for. To pair this the sound bar, and the surround speakers wasn't as straight forward as it could have been but once done you're rockin!

This is an excellent buy! We used the soundbar for a while before buying this due to the high cost. Once we added this module, it dramatically transformed my movie watching experience. The setup only took a few minutes to connect the wifi and the app. The physical setup was as easy as plug and play. BEFORE YOU BUY, make sure you buy a 3.5 MM Audi Cable. Bose does not include this with the packaging and you will need it to connect to the soundbar. I was pretty disappointed that bose would not include this with the purchase. I had to make a trip back to bestbuy to get a cord that would work. I would think that the manufacturer would include the cable to connect with their own product. Even the instructions say this is not included. Otherwise the bass quality is amazing!! even at 30% you can feel certain scenes shaking the floor. The price is high so I would wait until there are sales for the pair, but the quality is 100% for your money.

I'm using this with a Soundbar 700 and the setup took moments using the iPhone app. The sound is truly superb, and the ability to place the speaker anywhere in the room without worrying about how to run the wires is huge. I was skeptical that the wireless would deliver quality audio, but with every source I've used so far the any difference between wireless and wired hasn't been detectable.

This thing will shake the whole house but it’s sounds so pure not just loud noise. Can’t have the soundbar without this bad boy

This speaker paired with the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is out-of-this world magnificent! The sound will actually move you. You feel all the action while watching your favorite shows. It’s the best performance you can get for a subwoofer this size! You actually see and feel the thunder! I have never experienced anything like it!!
