I finally decided that I'd had enough of the $50 Motarola bluetooth I've been using. I can't stand holding a phone up to my ear, even when I'm at home. I got sick of other people telling me that my voice was distorted whenever I moved around even a little. So I decided that since the best was only $100.00 more than what I had spent on my Motorola, I'd go ahead and do it. I could not be more satisfied!!! The sound on both ends is perfect. I went outside in very strong wind and walked around while talking on my Bose. I could hear them perfect, and they could hear me perfect. They even said they couldn't hear the strong wind I was walking in. The comfort was actually well above my expectations. My Motorola clipped around my ear, and would grow very very uncomfortable after 30 minutes of talk. God forbid I decided to wear it while not talking. The Bose is so comfortable, I could wear it all day and not think about it. And as hard as it was for me to believe, it stays in my ear. I can jump around, run, shake my head like a banger, and it will not come out of my ear. However, if I reach up and pull it out, it comes out easy. Lastly, it is very easy to use. I paired it with easy, it has an on of switch that is very easy to access, and buttons for volume and to pick up a call. People that buy a cheaper bluetooth just to save a few dollars seriously have their priorities warped.

Overall I love this bluetooth. Its comfortable light in weight great sound and very easy to use. However I was disappointed in how poor the range is. A lot of other bluetooths get up to 33ft but this one is lucky if it is half that. The other problem is voice commands....TERRIBLE.... but then again most products have the same issue. Over all I would recommend this bluetooth. (Unless you need it for the range/distance and voice commands then this isn't the one for you.)

Awesome audio, but one ear only.

I saw this at Best Buy and debated whether or not it was worth paying $150. After looking at several others at comparable prices, I decided to give it a shot. After all, it HAD to be better than the other bluetooth headsets that I've had, right? I was so right. The first thing that stood out to me about the product is that it only worked on the right ear. That was bothersome, but it makes perfect sense for the design. A rubber piece fits into your ear, and it funnels sound from the earpiece to your eardrum, which makes the audio very direct, clear, and easy on the ears. Next, I paired it with my Sony Xperia Z (T-Mobile branded, C6606). Admittedly, I had to hold a button for my phone to find it the first time, but I'm used to that already from other devices. The pairing process worked similarly for other devices I used with it as well, which include my Dell XPS laptop, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Sony Tablet S. I have read reviews where other people had trouble with using certain Samsung and Apple phones, but I've luckily not run into any of those troubles with my devices. I tried to call someone as soon as I paired it with my phone for the first time, but I couldn't reach anyone to test it. However, a familiar tone sounded in my ear a few moments later. It was my phone's text message tone. I didn't realize that the earpiece had A2DP support, but that was a VERY welcome surprise. I then decided to watch some videos on YouTube and played some music. The sound quality from this alone made it worth the money I paid. Once I finally got around to talking to someone on the phone, I was very impressed. I was driving with the windows down and music on in the car, and the person on the phone with me had no idea. I don't have a huge system in my car that can shake a neighborhood, but the music was at a comfortable volume to where the other person should have heard it. I asked if my voice was clear, and they replied positively. I could also hear the other person very clearly as well. The included pouch, ear tips, and charger were a welcome bonus for me, and the only real problem that I've had is with the battery. If you have it at full volume, then it will only last for like 3.5 hours. At a medium volume, you can expect it to work for at least another hour or two past that before it needs to be charged. In short: excellent quality audio for only one ear, but not for someone who wants to listen to music at work for an 8-hour shift. This product suits my needs well, and I'm considering buying one for my left ear as backup.

I have had several BT headsets throughout the years. This one is the best by far. I got this to replace my jawbone. This fits better and is so comfortable I forgot I had it on. I was standing on a busy street and a huge truck went by making a lot of noise. The person I was talking to didn't hear it and I could still here them. You can turn the volume up (I have some hearing loss) and there is no distortion. Yea it cost more than some others. I wish it was $10 cheaper then I'd give it an excellent Value for the Price rating

Sound quality is excellent as expected and the comfort is unsurpassed compared to all the other bluetooth devises I've used. The limited features are not a concern to me as long as the functionality is solid which it is. The only drawback I would like to point out is the length of time to recharge compared to the battery life. I listen to audio books with my device and the battery life is comparable to a Jawbone ERA, however the Jawbone is fully charged in 15-20 mins where as the Bose takes up to 1-1/2 hrs. For the typical user this is probably not an issue but I do think it is something Bose could improve on. Also a battery indicator is not necessary but would be a nice addition and something I hope they will consider with a firmware update.

As a commercial driver (big truck), I am in a noisy environment, and didn't really want to look like I work for McD's with a big long boom on a headset. I bought a few other top branded bluetooth headsets for my HTC Rezound, and tried them at work (because I had a 30 day return guarantee), they all got returned, and THIS WAS THE KEEPER! It cost more than I wanted to pay, but I believe -IT IS WORTH IT! Not only could I hear the people on the other end well, it was sometimes so loud, I needed to turn them down (unlike others). According to the people I talk with, they have no idea that I am driving, or that my window is down, or that I am using a bluetooth! All that is important, because I want to hear, and be heard, with out distraction. ...and music and video sounds GREAT (even though its only one ear), the bass response is better than the Dr. Dre Beats head set that came with my phone . It fits me very well, is very comfortable (for many hours), and stays in the ear well. I can do anything I need to, with out worry about it falling out of my ear. And the range is great for hooking and unhooking with phone is on the charger in the cab. My ONLY negative is that my phone has talk to text, and it doesn't work well with this unit, but not a major issue issue for me. ...it may just be my phone.

I use my Bose Series 2 Bluteooth with my new Galaxy Note II. What I like about my Bose Series 2 is that 1. Very easy to Pair 2. Light weight 3. Excellent sound on both ends in any environment 5. Long battery life between charges 6. Well Constructed. I have owned my Bose Series 2 Blutetooth for 7 months now and I have nothing bad to say except you get what you pay for. My earpiece lives up to the "Bose" reputation.

By far the best of the bunch and the price reflects that. You truly do get what you pay for. The controls are easy to use the comfort level is good and it appears to be solidly built. Excellent sound quality is what we have come to expect from Bose and this little thing lives up to their reputation. I've gone through several headsets each time spending more money and I am finally satisfied with this one. The last one I tried was the Jawbone Era and it doesn't even come close on any of the basic functions like volume control, comfort, ease of controls, etc. Ignore the negative reviews on this product they don't know what they are talking about.

    Best bluetooth I've had

I wrk in a loud data center and can't hear my cell ring, and most times, don't feel vibrate. I hate setting my phone on vibrate because I tend to forget changing the setting, then then half a day goes by and I have missed phone calls/text/email. So having a bluetooth comes in handy. I've owned several and the thing that gets me is how uncomfortable most are after an hour or 2 in your ear. Not the case with this one. I wear it until lunch, turn it off and charge it, put it back on after lunch and wear it for the rest of the work day - no ear discomfort and it stays in place all day. And I can listen to music or stream radio from my phone at the same time. The sound is awesome. It connects to my phone within 2-3 seconds everytime. I hear the beep for connect/disconnect. I don't know about battery life because I charge it at lunch and over night. So far, best bluetooth double hands down.

    Best Headset I've Owned

I haven't written many reviews but I read them all of the time as I research my purchases. I had to write in for this one. I have tried every bluetooth that has been known as "the best" and I finally broke down and got this Bose headset that I had been eyeing for quite some time. My most recent was the JawBone ERC and Voyager Legend. The Jawbone was nice but it just stopped getting a good reception after about 9 months of use. Plus I had to buy special ear pieces on eBay to get it to be comfortable. The Plantronics Voyager Legend has a TERRIBLE charging system for use in the car. Plus it always felt as if it was going to fall off. I got the Bose Series 2 and I could not be happier. It works great, has amazing sound and is VERY comfortable. I usually have worn my headsets in my left ear but BB only had the right one in stock. I went for it and it has been great. Very light and comfortable. Works great with my iPhone 4S.

I had two primary concerns while shopping for a bluetooth earpiece. 1st: Comfort, anyone who has bough a cheaper bluetooth knows all to well how sore your ear can get after just an hour or two of wearing it. 2nd: Noise cancelling on the microphone. I work in Broadband Head Ends (basically server farms) and the background noise if very loud, often times people not being able to hear my voice over it. I was a little skeptical when buying this headset, simply because of the price. After many failed attempts with different headsets, I figured I would try investing the money and seeing if this was worth it. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of this earpiece. I can wear it for 8-10 hours during work with no pain in my ear. Sometimes I actually forget it's there and will go to scratch my ear and knock it out. lol As I mentioned, when I am inside of a head end it is very noisy. I've been on the other side of a call inside one of these buildings and know how hard it can be to hear the person on the phone over all that background noise. This headset excels at working 100% in these conditions. I have people telling me they can hear no difference between when I am inside the head end, or outside.. which is incredible! The only problem this creates, is everyone now calls me instead of other head end techs because I'm the only they can hear while working inside of the facility. LOL The other cool thing is I can connect this with my work phone and personal phone at the same time. I stream music from my iphone until a work call comes in, and then seamlessly answer the call. This was money well spent for a quality bluetooth. Bose has impressed me with this item and I would recommend this 10x over.

I have been so pleased with this headset I had to give a review . My phone is the Iphone4s and the Bose effortlessly pairs and works with all features! The sound is wonderful but You probably knew that. The comfort is what surprised me. I drive of up to 12 hrs. a day and leave it in. I promise. I own 4 other bluetooth headsets all $100 or more all now in a drawer.

Finally I Can Say The Best Bluetooth

This is the best bluetooth ever, sorry Jawbone ERA I had to put you to rest. Bose has finally stepped to the competition with the other brands on the market. It's so clear on both ends of the conversation, and it stays fit in my ear, I now don't have to keep wiping the ear tip off just so it can stay in my ear like I had to with the Jawbone ERA. It's a lil pricey of course, but its like this you get what you pay for. Job well done Bose.

this is my 3rd and final bluetooth. my first two i spet $99 on a jawbone and plantronic. the jawbone wasn't terrible, but i would still have problems hearing people and it would fall out of my ear from time to time. the plantronic was flat out terrible, it was painful to use... waste of $99. i had a best buy credit so i decided to buy this, best $150 i've spent. Battery life is also pretty good, i like the fact there is a light indicator telling you green, yellow, or red. my has lasted for 2 days of heavy usage (8 hrs per day). it's extremely comfortable and listening to music in it is unreal. bose puts out another superior product!

So far the best headset I've ever owned

    Posted .

This is hands down THE BEST headset that I've ever owned. I've probably owned just about every top of the line bluetooth that they've come out with, because I'm constantly burning through them so fast that they stop working. At first I was very apprehensive to purchase this thing, what with it being $149 and all. But I figured that if I didn't like it I can always just bring it back with best buys warranty. I can't believe how satisfied I've been so far. It doesn't have any fancy extra features on it, and I do kind of miss the Text to Speech, but what it does do exceedingly well is make & receive calls, with exceptional quality (even in the wind), and stream music from Pandora better than my earbuds do; I don't even know where I left them. Not to mention that the battery life lasts FOREVER! So rather than wasting $80 on junk that won't last you a year, and does it's 101 things 60% of the time decent. Get your money together and spend it on this earpiece, because it's going to be the best one you've ever owned. And if not, then take it back, and end up walking away with some cash in your pocket a year from now. I hope this helps...

I love this bluetooth headset, I have had quite a few over the years, but this one is worth every penny. Pairing was so simple, no guessing codes or waving it in the air like other brands. And the sound is fantastic, on both ends! It is comfortable, and the sound, I just can't stress how quality the sound is, it definitely lives to the Bose reputation. And most importantly, its actually made for left-handed use! YES!!

I have been using this headset for a couple of months now and while the sound quality is good, the rest of the features are extremely limited. Let me explain my uses for this headset, I travel for work each week, I work in loud data centers, I carry multiple cell phones, and I wanted a device that could connect to anything with Bluetooth. I have owned multiple Bluetooth headsets from many vendors. (Plantronics, Blue Ant, Samsung, etc.) I have tested this in all the ways I can think of and here is the breakdown: Pros: Sound quality, volume, and noise cancellation are superb. Cons: Can only connect to one phone at a time, only fits in one ear, cost is high, cannot pair with the Bluetooth in my laptop to use with Lync calls, cannot pair with my PlayStation 3 for social gaming, voice commands are limited so I find this to be not so hands-free(which is required in many states I travel to), charging cable is very short, and battery life is very limited (4 hours max talk time). Given that I have paid $25 for the cheapest headset that did all of the above except the volume was not as high and it did not have noise cancellation, I am not impressed with this one. I cannot return it now as the time period has passed for returns, but I am in the market for a different headset that will do all the things I need. If Bose ever steps their game up and brings technology that other vendors have had for years to the headset, then maybe I would consider buying again. If all you use this for is your cell phone, you only have one, and you don't talk much, then maybe this is the right headset for you.
