Great speakers! Easy set up. Nice amount of bass for the size of them.

I bought these Bose speakers for my desktop PC last fall, to replace an old pair of substandard speakers. I wanted better quality sound since I listen to music more often with my computer than previously. You can pair them with a subwoofer, but that is just an option rather than a necessity for receiving good sound. Price is right, too!

The Bose companions are very nice speakers. The build quality is strong and has weight to it. This also makes them stay in place and not wobble around. The sound quality is clear and the amount of Bass is perfect. I use them for gaming, music, and listening to podcast. Overall I can't find any negatives. If you want a nice 2.0 system but still enjoy the perfect amount of punchy bass these are the speakers for you.

Most audiophiles will tell you that bose are terrible speakers, however this is not the case with these. They are very loud and have a great sound. These are my favorite pair of computer speakers on the market. For just every day listening to music, videos or trainings online, you can't beat them.

Bose has reputation for selling overpriced products but these speakers are good value. For connecting to your computer, these are more than sufficient. Great for listening to music, as well as providing audio for video and streaming. Pretty decent bass and clarity at this price range. I am not an audiophile so I wasn't going to buy more expensive product for very perceptive difference. Highly recommended.

These wonderful speakers are nicer-looking and more compact than they appear in the product picture! The sound quality is comparable to my Bose cube speakers.

Bose has designed a good speaker system for most computer uses. The highs and mid-range sound is great. There is literally no lows at all. This unit replaced my Klipsch sound system. The difference was 50% more investment and highs-mid and lows are great. I would recommend these speakers for a cheap speaker upgrade. For high fidelity music, you need to invest more money :-(

I had a Samsung Ultra wide monitor for awhile then changed to an Asus gaming monitor. This forced me to buy external speakers as the ones in the Asus monitor were not even as loud as my phone... This speakers are perfect for me. Not too big, not flashy, just simple. They put off great sound and made me realize that the speakers in my Samsung monitor were not all that great either lol.

These used to have better construction (metal and plastic) but the sound is still incredible. Loud little suckers and decent base. You are not getting a premium desktop sound system, what you are getting is a very nice desktop sound system with nice sound from a brand that knows what they are doing.

As part of my regular Sunday morning routine as a facilitator of a senior adult class, I play music and teaching videos for the entire hour, so, I need speakers that can faithfully reproduce both the music and the message so senior adults can hear comfortably. These Bose speakers, as attached to my laptop and an Epson projector, make everything come alive. They replaced a passable but average pair of Logitech speakers. It was the best upgrade decision I've ever made!

I bought these to replace a broken set. I read a few reviews and decided to give them a try after listening to them in the store. They were easy to set up and worked right out of the box. I've listened to music, games, and videos and the sound from these speakers is very good. I'm pleased with the quality and would purchase them again.

This is my purchase of these speakers (I'm using them at two of our home computers and at my office computer at work). The sound is great, especially at this price point, and the size and appearance of these speakers is just right for a home setup or professional office setting. I'll continue to buy these speakers with each computer purchase.

I bought my new computer at Best Buy but my salesman forgot to tell me the top of the line computer did NOT come with speakers! WHAT? So, I decided I would get the best. After all, they are my computer's main and only speakers! I don't mind paying a little extra - these speakers are more than worth it. The sound goes up so loud your neighbors can hear it. The clarity is awesome. I love my new speakers!
