My first time buying computer speakers in a decade, after my trusty Harmon Kardon ones broke down finally. This was a great replacement. Sound is good, and it fits neatly in my office. Love that I can plug in 3.5mm headphones if I wanted to.

I love my new Bose Companion 2 series lll multimedia speaker system. This is my second time purchasing this product. I love the sound that it puts out and how easy it was to hook up to my computer. There's nothing better than Bose, that's for sure.

These are solid speakers that produce really good sound. You aren't going to wake the neighbors with these necessarily, but then again that isn't what they are for. They have good base, clear sound, and precise response. Given the lack of a woofer, I think these speakers perform quite well.

These speakers are excellent! We have had them for about a month, and there is nothing we don't love about them. They were under $100, and there are no other speakers out there that even compare that are in this price range. They sound better than other speakers that cost more. We highly recommend these speakers.

I bought and used this for gaming on my moniter and these speakers are amazing loud crystal clear and work great, super simple to set up as well!!

Small with big sound. Superb sound clarity, bass is very remarkable for its size.

The clarity is superb. The bass is good. Great for all audio things on the computer. The volume knob feels classic rather than pushing buttons. No regrets. I have owned several Bose products and always proud of owning them. They are on the expensive side but it is worth it.

Great computer speakers. I am a die hard Bose fan and these are a great set. You can feel the bass when watching a movie or listening to music. I like the fact that it has 2 aux inputs, one for my computer and another for my phone. Only thing to dislike is that the aux cord that comes in the box is too short.

Plugged them up and instantly great sound. Low Maintenance. There is a lot of music and bass coming out of the speakers. It’s perfect for gamers.

I purchased these speakers for my 32" flat screen TV because of its poor sound quality. I hooked the speakers to the TV, and I didn't get an ounce of base. The sound was much better than the mono sound of the TV alone, but there was no base. I was going to return the speakers because there was no base, but something told me to try them on the computer. I connected them to the computer and the base and overall sound was wonderful. I'll keep them. Maybe a sound bar would be better for the TV.

Good sound, compact and easy to set up and great quality

I looked at reviews (and pricing) of several office speakers prior to purchasing these. They aren't the cheapest, but for the price I can't see any comparison. They are different from a lot of computer speakers in that they do not have a detached subwoofer. However, Bose technology incorporates a low frequency design directly into these speakers. In fact, they are ported in the back. For general listening these speakers deliver rich and balanced sound. If you're into hard hitting base these may not be for you. If you want a surround system for gaming/movies these aren't for you. But if you want a solid pair of speakers for under $100 that you can buy (and return if needed) from your local Best Buy store you can't go wrong here. BTW...you also get the "Bose" bragging rights if that's important to you LOL.

Iam just begining to learn about computers, a victim of being born too soon and starting too late.I cannot afford a new computer, so i at least wanted to be able to hear. Ordered the very best speakers i could afford since am on a fixed income. Its been my best purchase.

Easy set up with quality sound. They can get really loud too. May have to equalize it if you plan to use it while streaming or using a mic

Excellent sound for personal listening. Makes listening to radio, CDs or talk radio a pure pleasure. Easy to hook up and move other devices. All wires go to right speaker. Only one wire to device. A must have for anyone listens to music or CDs from a desktop or laptop.

In general these speakers are great. Perfect for simple desk speakers, but not for people who want a lot of base and a lot of wide ranges in sound. They sound great, but not compared to a larger set. They are bose, so they sound good, especially for their size. I'd recommend them for anyone who wants a smaller set of good sounding desk speakers. Perfect for a college dorm!

These things are GREAT! I almost bought them a year ago, but put it off. But, i recently found I had a lot of rewards points that were about to expire so i used them to get these speakers. let me tell you, they are worth the money!!!. With i had bought them a year ago!

This pair of speakers can be turned up loud enough to hear over the noise from my exercise equipment. Even though the sound volume is turned up high, the clarity is very good. I would prefer a light indicating when the speakers are powered on but not a huge issue.

These are awesome speakers. But I would expect nothing else with Bose. Back in the late 70's I owned some Bose 501 speakers and they were the best speakers I have ever owned. These speakers are of the same quality and also put out very excellent sound. I bought a 2nd computer, so I needed another set of speakers. I really didn't think that there would be much difference between the speakers I had and these. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a huge difference. If you listen to a lot of music or do a lot of gaming, then these speakers are definitely worth the money.
