These are great if you are looking for small speakers with the greatest sound quality to fit on/around your computer table. I would have bought other cheap versions but it is worth spending $$ for something that will stay good for at least a few years.

This was my first pair of Bose multi-media speakers used specifically for my computer, having upgraded from a pair of Logitech ones. The set-up was easy and the sound is just amazing, deep, rich, and clear with great bass. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for premium computer speakers on a budget.

I bought these speakers for my bedroom desk space, and it has exceeded all expectations! The crispy clear sound from Bose is amazing! I was skeptical about the power and quality because of the size and price, but I was soo wrong. Love them, no disappointments!

These speakers sound great. I bought these speakers for my mother who is watching a lot of movies and shows on he PC so i figured she could some decent speakers. We all know Bose for there high quality home theater and home entertainment systems so when i saw they had computer speakers it was an easy choice. For basic looking 2 piece desktop computer speakers these speakers are premium quality and sound. if you are sitting right in front of your screen and need clear sound and no rattles or buzzing you want these speakers. well worth the investment.

Bose name in a desktop format. Sound is very good, but not great but competition is not fierce in this category.

I am very happy with these. However, I don't think they were worth $150, and I don't think they fully replace the sound I had with my previous system plus subwoofer. That said, these are much more compact, stylish, and produce great sound.

I purchased these to get some nice desktop speakers as my new monitor did not have any speakers. These provide good sound quality, although the EQ is a little bit bass-heavy for my liking. The cable connecting the two speakers is just long enough for me, but may be a little short for other folks' setups.

I ordered these (out of stock at all stores in my area for pickup) for my home computer looking to get a good, not overly expensive, set of speakers. After I ordered these I had went to another local big box retailer and they had the Klipsch 3 piece computer speaker set on sale for $10 less than these. So I bought the Klipsch set and figured I would test both out and take back the one I didn't like. Well the Klipsch set is awesome for a computer speaker setup so I decided to keep it at home as it would have been a bit much for my office. I plugged in the Bose when I got them and was surprised at the sound they have for such a small speaker. While not nearly as much bass as the separate subwoofer on the Klipsch set, I was quite happy with the sound. So, instead of returning these Bose speakers, I decided to take them to my office as I was in need of better speakers there as well. Although I rarely go to the office much at the moment and working from home. All in all they seem to be good for what they are. I can't say much for long term as I have only listened to them briefly. Once I get back to the office and can listen to them more I can update on my findings.

I went in to purchase a different set of speakers for my laptop. As always, I did my due diligence. Checking reviews from a variety of sources. Comparing prices. Looking for the absolute best deal I could find (I will spend for quality and value, every time, but I don't like it). I was convinced I knew what I wanted and went in to get the job done... then I trialed this set of Bose, popped my budget - although not by much, and impulsed bought my way out the door, never looking back. I think they're terrific. No need for a separate woofer on the floor. Nice small footprint on the desk top. Good full sound for me and my laptop. Someone somewhere is going to say they couldn't crank them loud enough at the last kegger, but really, perspective folks, perspective.

I originally purchased these because I work on the computer for a few hours at a times and was using a pair of Bose headphones prior to this purchase. After a while, the headphones just started to put pressure on my ears and I began looking for an alternative. Read some reviews and everything lead back to this. I have to say, I was very skeptical going to computer speakers because I was worried I wouldn't be able to substitute the richness and clarity my headphones offered but I took a chance and my expectations were quickly blown away! When compared to all the other computer speakers in this price range, look no further, there is only one clear winner in this category!

They sound good. The quality remains consistent at all volumes. They have a good low end punch at high volume. Nice and crisp high end. These will outshine most desktop speakers.

Bose always kills the speaker industry in my opinion! I love this set and will use them for as long as they last! Amazing acoustics and with the perfect amount of bass. If you love to listen to your music while doing work, these are the way to go!

These are very good sounding desktop speakers, especially considering their compact size. They are an excellent addition to my Intel NUC computer.

I bought these Bose speakers to use with my desktop and with my laptop. They were easy to set up. The speakers are attractive and very well made (they do not feel like cheap plastic like some of the others I've seen). The sound quality and volume are good, and the controls are easy to use. I would recommend them!

Purchased my BOSE-Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speaker System for use with my hp LapTop. This works very efficiently for enhanced listening experience of all audio features used on my LapTop "Communications - Gaming - & Especially Music". These Bose Speakers produce very crisp lifelike detailed clarity along with a very balanced base sound and stereo separation. All of this at a very reasonable price.

I use these speakers for my desktop computer and they have a very big rich sound with lots of bass. They sound like a large full-size speaker in a very small compact design that fits easily on my desk.

After looking at several different options (Mackie CR3/4, B&W MM1, Definitive Technology Incline, etc.), I decided to go budget, and chose these over the Mackies based on their size and design. Sure, Mackies might give you a purer sound and all, but these work, as long as you're not looking for the best sound quality. They're small, stealthy, and bass-heavy, which isn't my preference, but they work. No hassle. Just works.

I’m not very computer savvy but even I had no trouble setting these speakers up. The sound is great. I can turn it up to be heard throughout the room if needed but I generally keep them fairly low while playing games and video. I don’t have to max the volume to hear everything.

These are the best sounding small PC speakers I have heard. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something small that did not take alot of space on my desk but I was not expecting the sound quality to be so good. Playing games and watching movies sound amazing. I highly recommend!
