I thought spending the extra money it would at least sound be clear. It turned out sounding like talking into your hand or a paper towel roll making everything sound like an audiobook. The sound was really disappointing coming from Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 BestBuy stopped carrying. The Bose which cost more only have one small driver on these versus midrange and highs with the Klipsch. If you plan on plugging earbuds or a headphones into these powered speakers you really have to turn them to max to get the same volume as plugging directly in your computer. Yes that does mean if you listening to music and happen to pull the cord out your volume with be extremely loud and might scare the heck out of you. Maybe consider looking at the newer Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 giving you lows and highs. If I had lived near a BestBuy that carried the Edifier powered bookshelf speakers I don't think I would have considered the Bose. Bottom-line at this price point you can easily do better.

This is the best desktop speaker system in the market! Great sound and quality! This is the 2nd time I bought this speaker and all of my family has it too! I will recommend to a friend!

Absolutely amazing speakers, nice clear sound. I even feel the vibration from the speakers on my desk. They were exactly what I was looking for in quality & sound. I was already a Bose fan to begin with.

Excellent sound, quality audio when on a zoom or webcam call. Definitely better than just using computer audio. They look great as well!!

These are fantastic speakers. I'm glad I spent the extra cash and didn't get some cheap, $20 speakers. Even though there's no sub woofer, the bass is deep and clean. It comes with a very small audio cord though. I had to get an extension to accommodate how far my speakers are from my actual tower.

I am very happy with these speakers. They work great with my new desktop computer and sound great.

I was looking for a pair of Bose speakers to use with my computers. I think they are very well-balanced for the home and good value. I also like the versatility, I can move them very easily from my PC to my laptop in my studio.

Sounds good but need better wiring, it’s too short to connect to the computer so it’s useless for me and now I have to buy another one for it.

Got these yesterday to replace an old, inexpensive pair of Klipsch computer speakers with sub that connect to an older Samsung TV. Easy and convenient set up with volume control and jacks on the same speaker. The headphone to computer and aux in connections work fine and the cable is included. They're light, attractive speakers that leave a small footprint. But the sound isn't much better than what I get from the TV and the old, less expensive set-up blows these speakers away. I knew there'd be a difference without a subwoofer, but these border on unacceptable. They're in a small space and close to where I watch TV. They sound more like $35 not $145.00 dollar speakers. You're no doubt paying for rhe name.
