Sounds great, I just wish they were a little more compact and the cord was a tad bit longer. The cord from my computer tower to the speakers is not long enough for my set-up. Otherwise, we love them!

Everything that I had hoped for. Excellent sound. Not garbled. Compact sits right next to my monitor on my desk. Doesn't take up hardly any room. Great purchase.

It worked out of the box unlike the logitek speakers I tried. Warning though the aux cable that comes with it is too small. I had to buy a separate 6 foot cable to get it to route through my desk to the desktop. Sigh - go to target to get that else pay 2x the price.

So far I am finding these speakers to be excellent, just what I needed. I was getting tired of using a headset all day for my Microsoft Teams calls for work now that many of us are working at home all the time due to Covid. These speakers sound great and allow me to work all day without a headset unless I want to use the headset.
The only thing I will complain about is nothing to do with the speakers - but switching to speakers meant I started using my Logitech Brio webcam mic for my voice and well that wasn't good so I had to buy a new USB mic. LOL.
Great sound!

When I first connected these to my computer I could not believe how they did not sound any better than my cheap speakers because the onboard motherboard sound device is designed for cheap computer speakers. I first priced add on sound cards but settled on a Logitech - Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Adapter and a bluetooth wireless USB adapter (both sold at Best Buy). Once the Logitech is paired the speakers show up in the windows list of sound devices where it can be made the default and everything goes through that.
They sound terrific and can be paired up with a phone or tablet. They can be used anywhere in the house within reach of the computer bluetooth or simply paired up with a phone and used separately from the computer

Bose is synonymous with quality and great sound. I got these speakers for my iMac since I play and produce music on it. The bass is really rich without a clunky subwoofer. Perfect for my compact and minimal set up.

Wasn't sure about these at first, but I figured with Bose, there really wasn't much of a risk. Sure enough, these things sound great. They get a good bass sound for their size. Would highly recommend!

These speakers are exactly what I expected from Bose. They sound great with good response from highs to lows. Their size is good. They have a relatively small footprint which is important for a small computer desk.

I got this for my dad a while back, and it's still working great. Great sound. In this case, he doesn't have room for the subwoofer, and these have just as good of sound in my opinion without it. The price is a little high, but he loves these. I might have to get one for myself.

I wanted a pair of "powered" speakers for my PC to replace the Bluetooth speaker I had been using. Initially, I tried a pair of inexpensive speakers figuring the sound would be good enough. It wasn't and I was disappointed. I returned them and spent the extra money to get these Bose speakers. What a difference!!!! The sound is way better than I would have expected from a $99 pair of speakers. The difference in price was well worth it considering I used them virtually every day. You can't go wrong with Bose! I highly recommend these speakers.

I am a normal person, not an audiophile by any means. I am using the Sony - WH-1000XM3 headphones for my new game system and I wanted a set of speakers to use when working or playing light games. I was reluctant to get the Bose Companion 2-III because of some reviews, but I went ahead anyways. I have used many Logitech high end speakers with subwoofers before, and I was prepared to be disappointed in the Bose system. I was happily wrong. The sound is rich and expansive at mid and low volume levels and they are the best pair of speakers I have experienced so far. I have not cranked them up to the limit. My headphones are for that.
