Great quality speakers without breaking the bank! The next option up was almost $150 more so I am glad I chose the one I did.

There are no two ways about it - these speakers sound absolutely great for being a 2.0 setup. I bought these primarily because the old beige speakers I had were getting cell phone interference that drove me nuts. I had low expectations for these speakers but I was thoroughly impressed by how rich the sound is for a 2.0 computer speaker. I have mine sitting on their sides (bottom to bottom) and they tuck underneath my LCD monitors nicely. Also - no more annoying cell phone interference coming through the speakers!

These speakers are GREAT! The sound is amazing that comes out of them. No matter how loud you turn them up they are still very clear. Online gaming never sounded so good!

So, it’s a simple 2.0 speaker set for use mainly with computers. Good sound, not a lot of bass, but I wouldn’t expect that with small drivers like this, and no subwoofer. Simple to connect and go. For what they are, it’s a good small pair of speakers.

installed on my pc and the sound is fantastic. impressed with the size and ease of installation. the cost was a bit steep for me, but it was worth getting a quality speaker that delivers a quality sound. i am happy that i only have to turn them on and the balance of bass and treble is built in. i listen to sirius online and enjoy the rich sound that comes out of these speakers. the same goes for any audio from the pc. i don't have to have pc volume above 50 percent or the speakers cranked high in order to hear audio on the pc. one con: there is no indicator on speaker to show when they are on, so you have to remember to manually turn them off when shutting down the device to which they are attached. if you are looking for smaller speakers with great sound output, and don't need the subs and woofers, or need speakers that will blast your neighbors' eardrums, buy these.

great value for price and base is surprisingly good even Dj with them at times very compatible with almost everything from computer to tv.

I've had these speakers for a couple of years now and they are great! The sound is pretty good for the size of these speakers and they don't take up much space.

This is a great product, has great sound. My brother has a logitech 5 speaker sound system, and these two speakers provide much better quality in the deep bass notes as well as in the higher sounds

Bought these as a gift for a friend who does a lot of small presentations. The price was reasonable, and the sound is great!! Very clear highs, and velvety smooth lows. Very easy to set up and use.

I have bought 2 sets of these Bose speakers, one for a summer home in Vermont, one for California. They work well, with excellent sound quality, which is the only important consideration. I wish Bose had included an LED light or some other indicator of whether the speakers are on or off.

From music to games these speakers outperform all other PC speakers I have owned by far. Even though there is no subwoofer the bass is still really good for the size of the speakers.

can't believe that something so small can sound so good, the sound levels are perfect, the highs as well as the lows and mid range and for the price you can't beat it with a stick...

I've been a fan of Bose products and their quality for a long while but I could never really choose which ones to buy due to price. The Companion 2's are always a good choice for a rather, budget friendly, entry level speakers for your computers or laptop (my second pair overall). I've been comparing it with the Companion 20s which offer very robust and clear sounds with very good bass delivery, but for $150 more than the Companions 2s I just couldn't justify the price difference even if the sound quality between the 2s and the 20s are significantly different (not in a bad way though). For Bose speakers at this price, you can't really argue it.
