the sound quality is amazing. they even sound really loud on very low volume, imagine when you will turn the volume all the way up... best speakers for how much they cost

These Bose computer speakers produce great room-filling sound in relatively small package. The bass is great for not having a separate woofer.

The sound quality is good with ok-ish bass (though i do not hold it against the product in such high regard as these are just speaker sets and not a 2.1 system.... it was to be expected) and it was as easy as just plugging them to the computer. They are slightly larger than what the pictures make them seem (check dimensions if this is a potential issue for you) and no LED indicator for when they are on or on the volume dial to clear see the current volume level. These things do not really bother me but if you think they should be standard on a 100 dollar set of speakers then you know to avoid them. Overall, great speakers.

These speakers sound very clear. They can also reach a high volume, which means I can hear the music from anywhere in the house.

Let's start with the looks: These speakers blend well with everything else on the desktop. The fabric grilles they come with (which are not removable) give them an unobtrusive elegance. That, and the compact size, make them pleasantly inconspicuous to the left and right of the 27'' monitor. Installation is a breeze. Connect a few cable ends and the power socket, and off you go. If you are looking for convenience, then this pair of speakers is it. And the sound: Okay, here is where I need to "qualify" my review. Without an equalizer, the sound is just that—flat. With that said, even a 10-band equalizer (as in Windows Media Player or iTunes) can bring out a range of frequencies that is quite impressive. You are probably going to want to modify your equalizer's settings depending on the type of music that is playing. (That's what I did anyway as I switched from James Brown to Johannes Brahms.) I am not a gamer, but I am sure the speakers are quite capable of performing handily in that department as well. You have to turn up the volume to get a full-bodied sound around you. When I pushed the volume to a level that might fill a living room, I found the sound to be "sharp" and "pressed." Then again, you wouldn't get speakers this size with the intent to have the sound fill your living room, would you? All in all, these speakers are a great improvement over the built-in speakers of my laptop, and even more so in the case of the built-in speakers of my 27'' monitor. Those may suffice for notification sounds and such, but for audio I actually want to enjoy, these Boses will deliver! (Best of all, at least in Windows 10: You can choose which speakers the sound should go to at any time, so no need to even unplug anything.)

An excellent pair of desktop speakers. Great for a system where sound fidelity is important. If you are looking for great sound, you can't go wrong with Bose speakers. With the premium price comes premium fidelity. It's a win-win in my books.

These speakers are great. They have the typical Bose quality, but at a price point for a lot of people. My only complaint, like many of the others, is the bass is not huge. I don't mind with the type of music I generally listen to, but if you are into rap, hip-hop, reggae, or just like a lot of bass, you will not be satisfied. If you enjoy that rich tone that Bose possesses, but don't want to drop a ton of money, these are perfect

These speakers have a great sound to them without breaking the bank. No need for a subwoofer when you get these as they have a nice full sound.

Looking for some economical speakers for work desktop. Typical good quality Bose sound. Only downside was the cable needs to be a little longer. Had to switch the left and right channel to make it reach.
