Wow, just wow, not much need to be said. I have had so many speakers in my life, and Bose is always one of the best that is out there. First, listening to music is amazing, offers surround type of experience, I mean sound is amazing. Highs, mids, and lows, so nicely tuned, I love it. These do get loud enough, but after 80% there is some distortion. Base is great, nicely balanced. You cannot change any EQ, you get what you get, so it kind of depends on the system you are using, because speakers just has volume knob on one side, the rest of applicable changes you will rely on what you're using for your sound.

Nice sound and ample bass without the separate bass unit.

This is the second pair of speakers that I have gotten from Bose for a CP. Got my wife a new Dell and she enjoys music so got her these to go along with her new CP. Sounds great. Very clear. Always true to the Boise sound that you expect. Well worth the money.

I've always had Bose from the 901 series II, to some 301 in the office, to the Wave System III I have now. I've never had any Bose computer speakers, but with this security problem with XP it gave me the chance to upgrade my desktop system completely.. They didn't sound good at all when I hooked them up, and it took awhile to figure out that the settings in the Maxx Audio section were set to small, not medium, speakers, now they sound like true Bose Speakers....

Sound is excellent...exactly what I expect from a Bose product. Price was $99, which is fair for the quality.

Bought for work, to help balance sound on web videos and tutorials without getting full blown studio monitors. The speakers perform exactly as I hoped, giving a full range of sound, and sound separation on stereo tracks. It only took a couple of attempts to adjust spacing and angle to get it perfect! Liked them so much I bought a set for home.

The computer monitor I've recently bought did not come with internal speakers so I have to get one. Since I'm familiar and enjoy the quality of Bose products, I've decided to give the Companion 2 Series III speakers a try. As expected from Bose, the speakers produced crisp and quality sound. It should last quite a while too!

These speakers rock! They aren't any bigger than the ones I replaced. Yet, they have a big big sound. After reading the reviews here, I did buy an extension cable that goes from the computer output in advance. If Bose added 2 feet to the cable, it would be perfect. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.
