These speakers rock! They aren't any bigger than the ones I replaced. Yet, they have a big big sound. After reading the reviews here, I did buy an extension cable that goes from the computer output in advance. If Bose added 2 feet to the cable, it would be perfect. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the Bose - Companion II speakers recently with high expectations due to their outstanding reputation and yet I was still surprised by the sound quality. Bose went above and beyond with these bite sized speakers. They pack an unbelievable punch while still giving you all the clarity you could ask for. I highly recommend picking yourself up a set of Bose - Companion II speakers if you are looking for a step up from your standard, entry level computer audio.

Its a Bose, so quality is going to be terrific, and it was simple to setup. Thus far I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is the second pair of speakers that I have gotten from Bose for a CP. Got my wife a new Dell and she enjoys music so got her these to go along with her new CP. Sounds great. Very clear. Always true to the Boise sound that you expect. Well worth the money.

My old computer speakers were cracking and sounding distorted. So I did a Google search and decided to try these Bose Speakers. I am familiar with Bose, as I had purchased the Soundlink Mini 2 Bluetooth speaker and loved it's sound reproduction. These are great speakers for the price. I AM Happy with my purchase.

I've always had Bose from the 901 series II, to some 301 in the office, to the Wave System III I have now. I've never had any Bose computer speakers, but with this security problem with XP it gave me the chance to upgrade my desktop system completely.. They didn't sound good at all when I hooked them up, and it took awhile to figure out that the settings in the Maxx Audio section were set to small, not medium, speakers, now they sound like true Bose Speakers....

Sound is excellent...exactly what I expect from a Bose product. Price was $99, which is fair for the quality.

My old JBL Creature Speakers died. Searched a lot of reviews and this set got some good reviews but some ho-hum reviews from audiophiles. For fairly inexpensive speakers, they have a good presence. The mi-range is full and the upper end is crisp and clean. Volume is very good. They lack a little in the bass, and there is not an option to connect a sub woofer. However for desktop computer speakers they are fine. These wouldn't be an audiophiles main speakers anyway. But for the price, very good. If you want powerful bass, you'll have to choose something else.
