I purchased these speakers for my office. Originally I was looking for desktop speakers with a separate subwoofer, but I opted for these. I was surprised by the amount of base these had, even at low volumes. an additional sub would have been too "boomy" for these speakers. my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that I really wish there was tone control on the speaker. otherwise... I'm very impressed and happy with the purchase, and would buy them again.

Great Speakers, Good Fit for the desk. Good Sound. Easy to use

I have purchased Bose products in the past and extremely happy with this purchase. It was very easy to set-up. I found the cable to the computer and speakers a bit short so couldn't place where previous speakers had been. If your hard drive is close to your monitor, not an issue. My hard drive is located inside my desk so a bit harder to access.

Great sounding speakers, sleek and does not take up alot of room.

A bit clunky but the sound quality is decent. Okay price.

the bose speaker every easy to install and the sound every good

They are a little big on your desk but the sound by far outweighs their size. Best feature is that they do not have a subwoofer that sits on the floor only to be used as a footrest by my kids. I have had to replace at least 3 sets of computer speakers because the kids ruined the audio jacks to the subwoofer by using it as a foot rest. These speakers eliminate that issues completely.

Very easy to set up and use. Bose always has great sound.

These maybe small but they work very well. We used with our laptop to broadcast the sound of a movie thruout the room. Even people in back heard everything!

Bought these speakers for my wife as a Christmas present. She streams movies on her computer daily. She loves them. Nice sound. She enjoys movies much more then she did before. Makes watching movies much better then before. Now with these speakers it adds alot to her viewing experience.

I purchased these speakers to connect to an Amazon Echo Dot. I think they are better than the speaker in the Amazon Echo (tower). So... for considerably less than an Echo, I use the Dot in conjunction with these speakers and have a better product. Now I have two Dots and two sets of these speakers in my house, and I'm looking to get a couple more.

Speakers have plenty of bass for a bookshelf size speaker. Highs were good as well. Good sound for the money.

I wanted some good speakers for my laptop. At Best Buy I listened to several different speakers and the young sales clerk suggested these Bose Companion 2 Series 3 Multimedia Speakers. They Sounded great and the price was right. I listen to music on youtube and it's amazing to me how much music is available to listen and be able to explore new artists.

Simply the best 2.0 speakers I've ever purchased. Yes they're expensive, but I haven't regretted making the purchase. The sound coming from this unit is simply beautiful with no compromise Bose sound. The biggest advantage aside from the high quality sound is no subwoofer which means eliminating some of the cable clutter. Highly recommended!

My husband is kept using this Bose Companion 2 Speaker System with his Acer Nitro gaming notebook since I had purchased for him in May this year. I hadn’t heard any complaint on it so far. Also, when I heard the sound of this speaker system right next to him, I didn’t feel any uncomfortable sound at all. It made pretty much clear and fantastic sound when its volume was up in max.

Great price for a bose set of speakers and they more than do the job.

The Bose speakers are of great quality. I'm no audiophile and just using them to play music or Youtube videos, so they work very well. The only down side is they don't exactly fit behind my monitors so I have to situate them horizontally. Wish they were more compact. Although the volume button and the headphone jack on the front of the speaker are very functional.

Fuller sounding with good mids, sharp highs and decent lows

I think these speakers are great for the size and price I paid. When I'm sitting at my computer and listening to music, it almost sounds like the sound is coming from the monitor, not the speakers. You can't go wrong with these. I'm very happy I bought them. You will be too.
