As with any Bose product, the sound is excellent! I didn't need new speakers when I purchased these, but I'm so glad I bought the Bose system anyway. My previous set will be donated and I'm sure I will be enjoying tunes through these speakers for many years to come!

I wanted some good speakers for my laptop. At Best Buy I listened to several different speakers and the young sales clerk suggested these Bose Companion 2 Series 3 Multimedia Speakers. They Sounded great and the price was right. I listen to music on youtube and it's amazing to me how much music is available to listen and be able to explore new artists.

Great speakers, could use a small price cut. If you can get them for around $100, do it.

I watched several reviews between other brands and the more expensive version by Bose, and couldn’t make a decision at first. Took a shot at these and I am extremely impressed. They have wonderful sound quality and a surprising amount of low end for the price and size.

Amazing sound quality as always from bose. They by far exceed the sound of my original speakers that came with my pc.

I have a better and bigger version of these also and this one for the money is just great. Bad part is that they only work with computer or something with audio output. You have to manually adjust the volume, I wish they could have at least added the remote or bluetooth. Sound quality is just great.

Giving this 4 out of 5 stars. Left something to be desired coming from richer sound with other brands. Having worked at Best Buy for 4 years in Connected Home, I've tested out many Bose products for customer referencing. If you like fuller sound filled in with some bass, these are not for you. I suspected when purchasing these and not seeing a sub-woofer that I could run into that. Wasn't looking for room rattling bass either. They aren't bad, just not the be all sound experience that many of the reviews make them out to be. All in all, if you want a richer sound experience at this price point, you may want to look elsewhere. Logitech is a good starting point next to Best Buy's in in house brand, Insignia.

With two monitors, the sound quality is excellent and specifically the clarity of the sounds is super excellent. Since i have hearing aids for the first time, I appreciate the distinct articulation of what comes across with my two Bose speakers.
