I purchase Bose because they make the music SOUND BEAUTIFUL!! The sound that comes out is a low base tone. That really work for me. This Sound System was easy to setup and WORKS WELL!

These sit in my office and are a great addition. Though the size and cost are small, the sound is not. They are easy to adjust volume and have a rich audio.

For once I can say that Bose gives one his money's worth, with this product. It was the many other great reviews that persuaded me to try these for my wife; without those many reviews, I would have avoided them altogether.They are full and flat (referring to the spectrum, and that is a good thing); those that find too much bass, I suspect, need huge, thumping volume, and not desktop speakers. There is more than enough of the lower end in these little wonders. They are reasonably well built, and they DO adequately fill a good-sized room with music, remarkably evenly across the audible spectrum. Tired of cheap-sounding desktop speakers? These are the answer, and I'll give anyone my positive recommendation, with experience to back it.

There are not better speakers ANYWHERE at this price point!! The sound is unbelievable for speakers this size and at this price. Go listen to them in store and you will see exactly what I mean. Highly recommend!!!

great for saving space, you get full bass sound... enough to vibrate the desk top... without the use of a subwoofer. Great for clearing space.

For the price, I would recommend these speakers. For my PC these fit the bill perfectly. Not to large and great sound. The wire from the speakers to the PC could have been a little longer. Overall great speakers.

Just quite an amazing sound and especially a full bass from such a small speaker. Highly recommended if you are upgrading from your stock speakers on a desktop and small enough to work with a laptop as well.

I've owned several Bose products. As a performing musician I've come to appreciate the quality of the Bose sound. The Companion 2 Series III speakers have that beautiful rich tone that is a Signature of the Bose line. I'd highly recommend these speakers for audiophiles and those just wanting to hear everything that is supposed to be there! I did a side by side comparison with my studio monitor speakers which were much more expensive and larger. The Bose held up well at low and high volumes and at some frequencies performing a little better than the more expensive speakers. These aren't for house party sound, but they can get pretty loud without distorting. All in all a great set of speakers, especially for the price!

My old Bose speakers finally quit me after 12 years. I like them so much. I bought another pair that I connected again to my iMac. I highly recommend these speakers because they’re affordable and they sound so much better than the speakers on your computer.

These speakers' sound quality and bass are excellent for watching movies, talking on Discord (and any other voice chat activity where you are not using a headset), and enjoying your favorite games.

Cant go wrong with a Bose speaker set for this price. The sound is clear and strong on the bass, for those who like it. A single wire connects both speakers. Value buy.

I'm not an audiophile so I can't go over any technical specifics, but I've heard enough music over headphones and speakers to know what sounds right for me. Initially I felt like I could live with adequate sound since I didn't want to spend to much on desktop speakers. I did come across this set and at $100.00 dollars, it was more then I was willing to spend. However after listening to some sample music and hearing such strong bass and precise full range from the speakers, I caved and got it. I don't regret it. Not surprisingly, it performed very well during gaming. Although the speakers are not that wide apart from my monitor, the speakers were able to create space and distance giving me a sense of audio depth needed for these quick action games.

I bought these speakers to replace my aging JBL Duet speakers and what an impressive upgrade these are. For being a small set of speakers without a subwoofer the sound is very impressive. Bass is good, response is fantastic and the higher volumes doesn't distort the sound like a cheaper set of speakers would. The design is elegant and goes with any type of computer and looks great on my desk along with my MacBook Pro and iMac G4. I love Bose products and would have no problem recommending these to a friend.

The best quality, Clarity and multi room filling superb sound! These speakers should be twice the cost for what you receive! I can't imagine anything in comparison to these speakers! I rarely write reviews but hands down, there are no reason to look further! I swear as much as I enjoy Bass in my sound systems, these come with more then enough without the cost of anything comparable! Without a doubt, BOSE has Polk, Beats and Monster Audio in its shadow as I have tried all others! Awesome job BOSE!

I bought these to replace the old computer speakers I've been using for about 20 years. I love Bose products, so getting them for my computer seemed to be the next thing for me. These speakers sound great but are missing a little bass. I used these for a few week and am amazed by the spatial sound they provide just sitting on each side of my monitor. They come with two inputs, so I had a PS5 playing through my monitor and my Mac mini was connected directly to the speakers. Because I love bass in my music, I ended up returning these and buying the more expensive Bose Companion 20 speakers. If you aren't concerned with a lot of bass and want a great sounding computer speaker, then you can't go wrong with the Bose Companion 2.

good speakers but the cord to connect to the PC is incredibly short. I had to move my PC under my desk in order to hook them up unless I wanted them backwards on my desk. the right speaker cord is the one that hooks into the PC and it's way too short. sound-wise, these things are a typical Bose product. great sound, no issues at all.

I was looking for quality small portable speakers for my laptop to increase volume and sound quality for music and movies. After buying and returning another brand for low volume and sound quality, I purchased these Bose speakers for under $100. They are everything I was looking for. Simple to hook up, portable, and they sound great with plenty of volume and balance between highs, midrange and bottom. A great buy for the money.

Really, more like 4.5 stars. I'm using these speakers on my PC, replacing an old, inexpensive Altec-Lansing 3-piece system with subwoofer. That system's bass was rather flabby and boomy, unless I turned down the bass with the remote... Then it'd be non-existent, even when I turned the bass down just the tiniest bit I could manage. No happy medium at all, and I decided to try a new set of speakers. The Boses sound crisp and clean with little or no noticeable distortion, much more musical than the old speakers. Bass is a little bit shy, but not that much. Better than boomy and thumpy any day. Just a teeny bit more bass, and they'd be 5-stars... But for a hundred bucks, whaddaya want?

Gorgeous sound. Perfect volume, range and bass for a desktop set up. I wanted a sleek, low profile set up for my Mac-oriented home office and these were the perfect choice. You could get more bass with Logitech but I hated the cheap, clunky, plastic look and I don't need bass to blow out my windows with a sub. The bass and lows in these speakers surprised me and the acoustics are clear and crisp, these speakers perform the way you's expect with Bose. Ultimately these were the perfect choice, very happy with my purchase
