Gorgeous sound. Perfect volume, range and bass for a desktop set up. I wanted a sleek, low profile set up for my Mac-oriented home office and these were the perfect choice. You could get more bass with Logitech but I hated the cheap, clunky, plastic look and I don't need bass to blow out my windows with a sub. The bass and lows in these speakers surprised me and the acoustics are clear and crisp, these speakers perform the way you's expect with Bose. Ultimately these were the perfect choice, very happy with my purchase

Upgraded to these speakers from a 2.1 setup. Excellent highs and still get some bass sound from these speakers. Takes up less space than my old ones and better sound. Well worth the upgrade!

I love these. The whole office can hear on medium volume and they asked if I had a subwoofer because the base is so clean. They also look really clean. I usually like to keep it clean and these do that.

Great sound! I was a little concerned because there wasn't a sub woofer. There is great sound without it. The cables are short, that would be the only negative. I called Bose to get a 6 foot extension cable for the left speaker and they shipped it out at no cost. I picked up 6 foot jack extension from Best Best and that solved my cable problem. Overall great quality speakers for the price.

An upgrade from using my TV as a speaker

Primary use: Watching movies or videos, music, and just wanting to hear what's going on, on my PC. I have long abstained from buying any speakers for a really long time and stuck to cheap earbuds because the weakest link in all speakers are the wires. When a short develops in the wire from even careful handling, it can cause one speaker to not work, and with really cheap speakers manufactured these days, all connections even power are soldered in the speaker housing and this means the wires aren't easily replaced and the whole speakers are just thrown away (along with your money as well). After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to buy these speakers and after watching a few movies I realized I made the right choice. Usually I connected my GFX card to my TV with HDMI (that also provided audio) to watch movies without being chained to earbuds. Coming from that, the sound from these speakers seemed 'strange' at first and I realized I was hearing things I haven't before (subtle things, like paper shuffling) and the sound seemed overall richer and vibrant than what came from the T.V.. These speakers are excellent for this price range but they do suffer the same design flaw for all speakers in this price range and decided to deduct a star for that reason: the cable connection in the left speaker (that goes to the right speaker) is hardwired into the housing which means *IF* that cable goes bad then it isn't easily replaced with an off the shelf 3.5mm cable. If you are looking for quality 2.0 PC speakers around $100, I definitely recommend these.

I've used this product for over 2 years now and it hasn't broken a sweat since. It still works exactly as the first day I bought it. The sound is great, the defice itself has a minimal design anddoesn't take much space on the desk. Do not expect to much base for this. The sound is crisp and I have played many music genres and movies, I have no complaints about the sound.

My old all-in-one computer died and we had to purchase a new computer. We decided not to go with another all-in-one but get a desktop instead. That meant that we needed to purchase speakers as well. These were recommended by the sales associate and, at first, I balked at spending another hundred dollars for speakers. I am glad that I did. These speakers have a full, rich sound, and the volume can get cranked up pretty high without any distortion. I would purchase this item again, and would recommend it to others.

The speakers are small so they can fit anywhere without taking up room. Don't let the size fool you. They are awesome!!! Price very reasonable. Should I need to replace will be the same.

I bought these speakers for 2 reasons: 1) I live in a small apartment, and 2) I've had two different sets of speakers with sub-woofers blow out on me because of power outages/power spikes. The sub-woofers all have internal fuses that are not readily accessible, and repair people flat out tell you that it'd be cheaper to buy new speakers than to have them work on your old dead sub-woofers. I went with the Bose because of the name (which they live up to), and since I have no need to torture my neighbors with bass, the small tabletop set was ideal. Definitely perfect for a small space.

I had been using my Dell computer speaker system from the '90s for listening to my Ipad music. It worked quite well, with a big woofer. It finally broke. I considered Bose Bluetooth speakers. I had one in my hand, Somehow, I met a sales rep and I ended up in the computer speaker aisle. For the price of one bluetooth speaker I bought two Bose computer speakers ( Black Friday price). I also purchased the Alluratek bluetooth receiver for an extra $30. Great sound! Bluetooth works well. The sound from my Bose computer speakers is far superior to my Dell speakers. Also, they are easy to setup and well constructed. Highly recommended.

What an incredible difference a brand sometimes makes! This is one of those times...I tried three sets of speakers including a sound bar without satisfaction till I finally spent the money for BOSE...what a difference, I have gotten hard of hearing and Zoom meetings were a source of frustration, but no more! These Bose speakers, I didnt want a subwoofer for space considerations were perfect...No I hear everyword...plus I can Rock out on you tube again!

For $99, I am not sure that you can purchase a better pair speakers. For my taste, the highs are nicely delivered and not over powering. The bottom end (bass) is very tight and delivered with a modest punch. The midrange is delivered in a complimentary way. Provided you have some software equalization in your operating or music/video application, you could tune the sound to be just the way you like without rattling and buzzing you get with cheaper speakers.

These speakers sound great. They have a very even, natural sound that sounds pleasing to the ease, with no overly harsh highs or overwhelming, drowning bass. This makes them sound great within a wide range of volumes, especially at the lower and middle volumes. They're small and easy to orient, making them great office speakers (my usage). I do wish there was some sort of power indicator light, however. I'm often forgetting they're on and walking out of the office with them powered on. For gaming, you'll likely want something a bit punchier, with peakier highs and a separate sub. Great for music and the occasional YouTube video though. They're a bit on the steep side (some speakers do sound better at this price), but for a compact, office appropriate speaker that sounds good at low to moderate volumes, this is an excellent solution.

These are big and use a lot of space in your desk. But if you have the space for them, they are certainly worth it. The sound quality is great and volume is acceptable for the price and what they are meant to. Gpod speakers over all.

These speakers from Bose are what you would expect - they’re reliable, sound great, and are easy to use. The only reason I am giving these speakers 4/5 stars is because the Auxiliary cable that comes with the speakers was very short for my setup, so I had to go out of my way to buy a different cable, but the speakers themselves are awesome.
