No bulky subwoofer is no problem. It'll still rock the room you're in.

I was looking for some laptop speakers that I could use for a presentation in a fairly large room for ~60 people. These funcitoned perfectly with plenty of volume and clarity. Nice full sound and volume control disc/puck is nice too.

Looking for a pair is speakers to use in my office, these have good sound for music - listening to records & the iPad & computer. Went wireless w/Apple base station. They do the job

They are plug and play and have great range, nice and crisp sound for a PC to produce, with a good sound card too though. I can't but help think how well they would pair with a nice Bose Sub-Woofer. Hope to know soon as my old Bose set-up did have a sub, and I still have it. Hopefully it'll integrate right in I'd buy them again, beyon a doubt.

Perfect for my desktop in my office. Even though they do not have a sub, they kick hard. I also like the control pad because the volume control feels very smooth and the power is a simple tap. Awesome purchase

I hook these up to my iPod and they sound great. Mainly used for the garage or out by the pool. I also take them with me on vacation. They're very portable and sound pretty big. The bass is well defined and deep for small speakers.

Honestly, I really love these speakers. I recently purchased these after my left speaker of the Companion 2 Series 2 Bose speaker finally blew out after only 15 years lol. These speakers have taken all the benefits of the old speakers and jammed them in here. I was a little hesitant with the new volume and audio input and output system. But i grew to love it way more than the previous model. Deep bass and good mid range sounds that can be heard with ease. Overall a really good product. I hope i get another 15 years out of these.

Bose is the best for a reason! Everything that I read about these speakers was spot on. If you don't want a system with a subwoofer this is the best choice. The bass these speakers provide is more than enough and better than any two-speaker set-up I've heard.

Great speakers. Very clear. I'm using them with a small projector and think they could be louder. Overall good speakers. Easy to use.

These babies look pretty sweet next to the Mac PC! Great sound of course, these are Bose speakers! Easy hook up!! To me it was worth the extra cash to spend on something I know is well made and will last and I will not need to replace. Great addition to my computer!!

These Bose 2nd companion speakers are wonderful sound is very nice and easy to hook up to computer and price is super for it recommend very happy with purchase sound quality wonderful

I have purchased two fo these Bose speaker systems over the past couple of years and was excited to have need to purchased another one. Great look, incredible sound and sized just right for limited space. These speakers pack quite the punch!!

These are good speakers. I have a turntable hooked up to them and they work really well.

Needed some new speakers, these work and sound great without a separate sub woofer. Great buy.
