For PC speakers, these are hard to beat due their sound quality and ease of use. There are other systems that sound a bit better, but I move these around. A sub-woofer is just too much to move from my office to the kitchen. Even without a sub-woofer, the bass is good. So I like them a lot.

Great sound from 2 speakers that don't take up a lot of space. A little pricey but that is Bose!

These speakers are far better than the old ones I m replacing (Altec lansing).The sound is more pleasant and clearer to listen to. The boss Companion are smaller in size but the quality can not be compared.

The Bose companion 20 speakers are the best sounding speakers for a computer. The speakers are very easy to setup.

I owned several Bose products, from home theater to headphones. These computer speakers in my opinion is the best sound quality that I ever heard. I know that there are a lot of people don't like Bose, but to each is own. These speakers have awesome highs and lows. The bass is just right and the voice quality is phenomenal.

Solid construction. Clear, reasonably loud sound with realistic bass and treble. No subwoofer required for ordinary stuff. Fans of disaster movies might disagree. Volume control "hockey puck" is a gimmick I could do without.

I am a very persnickety audiophile. I purchased a Razer Nomma set (complete trash, returned it) and a Logitech 2.1 setup from another retailer (again returned it). I went back to BB looking for Media Monitors instead, ready to drop some hot cash. A BB Blue Shirt told me to give these speakers a try. At first I was very hesitant as I really wanted a bass with my speakers. I took these speakers home. Hooked them up, and what I found was BIG SOUND. The speakers have a very well balanced spectrum of sound from lows, mids to highs. They have a deep bass to them without a dedicated bass speaker. I am very happy with this purchase. It's hard to determine if you will like the sound of a speaker setup until you hear it for yourself, therefore I recommend you pickup a set and give them a chance. They are ugly though, so just put them behind your monitors LOL.

being a musician, I find it hard to compromise. With the Boze companion 20 media speakers, the word compromise doesn't even exist! There will never be a replacement for the Quality Boze puts into its products. With tight thumping low end, and crisp, cutting highs. You'll know immediately you made the right choice

Very small size, great sound for the size. Perfect if you don't want the space taken up by a separate subwoofer. Surprisingly decent bass for their size. Sounds better than several of the more inexpensive Logitech speakers I listened to with a separate subwoofer.

Got these to go along with my turntable that I didn't have a receiver for. No manual adjustment other than volume but they sound great for their size and have a good amount of bass without a subwoofer. The sound is fairly heavy on the bass, would prefer it a little more balanced but they're still good overall for someone who doesn't want to throw money into a receiver and bookshelf speakers. As PC speakers it's hard to think of anything better.

These are incredible speakers for their size. It's my second set of Bose computer speakers and they're great for music, games, or anything else. Great range, clarity, and bass

Pros: * Great sound with a decent amount of low-end. * Easy to set up * The dial with an extra input and headphone out is a nice touch. * Easy mute process built right into the dial Cons: * I really wish it had more than just 3.5mm inputs. * It's a bit too easy to hit the mute when adjusting volume. * A bit pricey for an older model of speaker.

For how much they cost, I don't think you'll be disappointed, but a few things... This version doesn't come with the woofer/sub, which may be a problem for some people but its not for me. I think the sound is fantastic and I enjoy the preset bass level it has, I'm not crazy about super loud bass. But I really do hear new details in the music with these speakers. I wish the cords it came with were a bit longer, or were adjustable or something like that. The touch pad is great. Easy to turn up, down and mute. But it doesn't have any notches or indications of where 0% volume is and where 100% is, so it has a little bit of a learning curve. I used a sharpie and made marks on the pad to indicate these levels to make it easier to remember and make sure the volume is all the way counter clockwise before u turn em on.

Easy to set up with Mac computer. Sound is much better than the speakers installed in computer.

These speakers: first they look great second they have a deep sound you don't need a sub woofer

Though this is for laptop sound systems (according to the box) I used it for my $5.5 Computer Rig and the Quality is phenomenal. My gaming experience has reach new heights and when watching movies it's like being in the theater. Great Bass sound coming from a 2 speaker system as well. You can look up the specs your self, only thing is they come in grey vs. black at least that's all I found at Best Buy. It is a bit pricey at $250 (not including tax) but to me its worth it. I brought my Nano or you can use your Phone, just ask the associate for the cable to hook it up to or bring your own (which I did) and checked out the display sound quality. That is what sold me. I was looking at a TV sound Bar for I needed more Bass Sound when gaming and didn't want 3-5 piece system. This is perfect so I have more room on my desk. You won't be disappointed. I don't do reviews normally but this is a great system.

These speakers are awesome with a clear crisp sound and a good level of bass. Well worth the buy!
