The speakers are also praised for their ease of use and compact size, making them a convenient addition to any desktop setup. The Bose Companion 20 Multimedia speakers sound great and were easy to set up with my computer. The speakers have excellent clarity, pitch, treble, bass, and volume. The sound quality is wonderful while listening to any kind of music! These speakers deserve 5 stars.

I had a 2.1 speaker system with subwoofer, but with my new standing desk, I really disliked all those cables hanging off the back. This system provided a clean setup and great clear sound. There's not as much low end as I had before with the sub, but they still sound fantastic. I also love the look and the controller. Expensive, but worth it if you need a clean look and great sound...best 2.0 speaker system I've found.

As usual with Bose products, sound is top notch, and quality is very good. The separate volume control knob is handy. Overall, a very nice product, but like most Bose products, slightly over priced. I would recommend it, as I think that it as good or better than other comparable products from different manufacturers.

Speakers really help computer watching movies, webnairs, etc. Great sound for price. Don't take a lot of space and easy set up no hassle. If you're looking for over-the-top sound for music, anticipate spending more, but these fit the bill for me. Only criticism is the on/off switch which is easily bumped or if you want to wipe it off it triggers it, like a touch-lamp. Not a big deal. Overall, very happy with purchase.

Sound great and look good. My only remotely negative thought about this product is the cords aren't very long with means its tough to hide the wires. Not a deal breaker by any means.

These were very easy to install and the sound quality is as good as my 10 year old Klipsch speakers that quit working. Sound control device is easy to use and offers easy access to plug in headphones or a microphone. I highly recommend these speakers.

I really hesitated when I was about to purchase these. They were a little pricey but wow, I have to say that I am SO GLAD that I bought them! The sound from these is unreal. The sound is so clean and crisp that and if you want to crank them they can handle it. I love them! So worth the money for Bose products! A true investment as I plan to use them for the rest of my life!!

These sound great, there is plenty of bass without a subwoofer. These get very loud yet still sound clear. I have them plugged into my gaming pc.

I got these for my work PC, which is a Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. The Bose speakers are great. Of course, since this is Windows, the computer often switches between the Dell monitor speakers and the Bose for no apparent reason (and yes, I've gone into the settings and made the Bose my default speakers), but that's not Bose's fault. Sound quality is perfectly fine. My challenge is at night I listen to an $80k McIntosh/Bowers & Wilkins set up so, frankly, nothing's going to even come close to that. That said, these are perfectly good, and resolve sound for Zoom/Skype calls better than the speakers on the laptop or in the monitor. Set up was straightforward, with connections clearly marked. The spin control works fine, although I often default to the knob on my Logitech craft keyboard (which is a true work of art). Quality is typically Bose -- better than most in the price range. That said, $249 seems steep for what I pulled out of the box.

It's hard to believe the sound that comes out of these speakers. Although there is no sub woofer, none is needed. Easy hook up make these a must for anyone who listens to music on their computer.

Love the sound, and there are only two speakers, and a small Hub you use to control the sound. You just tap the top of the hub, to turn on the sound, sometimes I forget to turn it on. It's nice because the speakers, and hub doesn't take up much room. The two speakers sounds just as good if not better, then the 5-in-one speakers I had before.

Things I love 1- sound quality is fantastic. 2-Materials are very solid and great quality. 3- They are best for smaller office environments and can get very loud Wich makes the sound experience better. 4- Fantastic to use for calls if you have a office soft phone to use with your computer. 5- The volume controller is really solid and sturdy. With a small tap goes on and off super simple. 6- Great movie experience in a ultrawide curved monitor. There are many other things but of the top of my head this are the things that I remember the most.

I chose this model because I can conveniently connect my computer to my stereo system using the pod control. I use the headset jack (out) on the pod and the audio in on the back of my stereo receiver. Some reviews I read talked about these speakers stop working after a couple weeks...this may be a pod issue. I will say the touch on/off feature on the pod is sensitive. I would not have known about this touch on/off feature without reading the directions. The sound is strong and clear, adequate bass without needing a subwoofer. If you appreciate sound, then you will enjoy these speakers. If price is a concern, I recommend the smaller Bose computer speakers.
