Throughout a very broad spectrum of music in my collection the sound is just perfect. There is zero distortion and the built in sub woofer makes the set-up so much more portable

We had the cheaper version of these Bose speakers (the $100 ones) for 13 years, and they still work great. When we got a second computer and needed another pair, we decided that if Bose speakers were going to last 13 years, we might as well invest in the best ones. Sound is wonderful. I love the volume control puck. Unless you're going to get a system with a subwoofer, it doesn't get better than these.

I bought it because I needed some high quality sound on my computer to produce music (not for business). And the quality is excellent, bright and clear. I recommend it.

I unpacked them and thought: I just wasted a lot of money. But I plugged them in, a lot of wires, wish they were wireless, but anyway. I turned them on, not realizing that they were turned all the way up. They just about knocked me out of my chair! Clear pure sound even at high volume levels. Fills my apartment with atmosphere as well as great tunes from the satellite.

Had an olde office computer that needs more clarity for listening to audio files. Bose base has rich sound and mods are crisp and fills the room with vocals wait for sale as Bluetooth is the rage now

Small speakers with a great touch pad and knob volume control. Sounds so good this is the second one we bought.

The loudest pc speaker at this size with bass and no subwoofer

Originally I resisted purchasing the speakers because of the price, but the sound from these little babies was just too much to pass on. When I got them home, they exceeded my expectations. Now there's a party at my house every day! The speakers were easy to install and have a touch on/off switch with an easy gliding volume control dial. The sound is excellent at high volumes. They were worth every penny.

I am a previous owner of two sets of a different brand of speakers. This particular brand is well known and they are not the cheapest ones out there. They came with a separate sub and sounded great, but I had to replace several parts in both sets. These Bose speakers are outstanding. They sound just as good as the others that had a sub and do not take up as much space. I use mainly for listening to music and watching shows. Whether it is classical music, rap, pop, or a show on Netflix, I am super pleased with this purchase! I would highly recommend the set to anyone in the market!

These speakers are amazing. Everything that you should expect from top notch sound engineering. You get massive sound from tiny desktop speakers. No need for a sub woofer, these bad boys seriously bring it. I can't believe the amount of base that is produced. It is like magic. I'm extremely glad that I spent the extra money. I don't feel like I will be visiting sound departments anymore to see if there is something better, I know I have the best now. I highly recommend.

Never got wrong with bose. Excellent sound, very loud and very easy to use.

Whoa. In terms of computer speakers, I can't imagine a better pair with better sound. I do like the punchy bass of a subwoofer, but lacking that, these speakers deliver. I used the EQ on Apple Music to boost the bass and treble, and I get a crisp sound, with more bass than I expected - and it's not muddled. I'm glad I gave these a try - the sound fills my room.

Easy set up and fantastic sound. Stylish design and functional control.

Wanted a compact system (no subwoofer) with full sound and good bass. This system delivers. If not for being a bit pricey, would be five stars.

My Logitech 5.1 surround were suddenly going loud on their own. Decided to replace them with the Bose Companion 2's but when I got to the store all they had we the 20's. Spent the extra money I am not disappointed, especially not kicking a subwoofer under the desk. Clean full range sound. Volume dial is nice and easy to get to.

These are great speakers for normal/gaming use but you cannot play music at max volume. At max, the speakers start to loose their base and clarity. No big deal really, just turn it down a notch and it is still loud and clear. Even though this setup does not include a sub-woofer, the base is still excellent and strong.

I absolutely love my new speakers that were purchased to go with my computer. The sound is great and now I can listen to music in stereo and it not sound like a back in the day transistor radio…

This is my first Bose product purchase. I use them not for my computer but for my satellite radio system - I love the sound they produce. I will be purchasing another set for my office space

I was looking for the best computer speakers and came across this Bose Companion 20. Knew for some reason that Bose products produce great sound and quality. All i can say is that am stoked !
