Suprising
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll be very honest I bought the product thinking it would be just a gimmick but the quality is there in every aspect. The only complaints I have are the bass and battery life. Besides that vocals in music and podcast seem to be the main target for the frames and it is executed extremely well I am over all pleasantly surprised with the frames.

You Need These
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A piece of technology you didnt know you needed. #1 for outdoor sports. Biking, skateboarding, walking the dog, and when forced to hang out with the in laws. You get to hear the music, and the surrounding noise so you don't get hit by a car. If the volume is 50% or lower people won't lknow you are listening to music. Sound quality is average but still worth buying. The lenses are pretty good too.

Great warranty
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the sound quality sadly stopped charging after 6 months but the good thing is Bose warranty they sent me a replacement after I returned mine to them. Over all time frame a week for the return and replacement to be received. New manufacture warranty in place for the replacement at no cost . Sound quality is there and great to use instead of ear piece during the day when making calls when driving .

Great sound in a unique package !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these audio sunglasses! The have a nice spacious sound that is a completely different experience than earbuds or earphones. You can still hear what’s going on around you , and someone near you can hear the music ( but not as surrounding) . The speaker design within the frames directs the music right to your ears without the pressure on your ears like buds or earphones have. They last a decent amount of time and are easy to recharge. Bluetooth hookup is quick and easy as well !

Sunglasses I Never Knew I Needed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I'm generally a huge new tech fan. I love trying and reading about all the new technology that's coming out so when I heard about these sunglasses that also play music, I was really really intrigued and obviously needed to try them out. Overall, I never knew I needed/wanted sunglasses that also play music! I really like them. There are a lot of pros to them, but also a lot of cons. Let's get started! - The packaging in my opinion is a 10/10. Very sleek, modern & makes the product seem high-end. They come in a very nice case that keeps them safe. - The sunglasses themselves are very lightweight, which is great considering no one wants weighted sunglasses on their face just for the sound. They seem very durable despite the lightness. In someway though, I feel like material they're made out of seems cheap compared to how they're presented (packaging and branding). They do feel like you could easily break them but at the same time, I don't think that's the case. - These are a lot bigger than what they seem in the pictures online. That's one of the most disappointing factors to me. I'm a woman and I have a pretty small face and these glasses look pretty bulky on me. They also have a very loose fit and slide down my nose A LOT. I wish there were multiple size options for these. They are very stylish though. I think they look really nice on even with the bulky factor. - They're not polarized. Which isn't a huge dealbreaker for me, but I know for some people that might be. - Now the biggest part: the audio factor. For Bose, I had higher expectations considering they're one of the top brands for premium sound technology. The sound quality is great. At a normal listening volume, no one could tell you're listening to music/podcasts on these things. They go pretty loud too, if you're into that sort of thing. The one downfall is that you can't adjust the sound quality and what I mean by that is there's no bass and you can't change any settings for more treble or less, etc...) which I don't mess with custom settings too often, but I def. wish there was any kind of bass. - Now the app...oh the app. I'm not a fan. It needs the most help in my opinion. To start, to even use these headphones for sound, you have to download an app. And in a way that's kind of a turn off for the simple fact that there are a lot of bluetooth headphones out there that I can just connect to bluetooth without having an extra app on my phone. AND you have to have the app open for the headphones to connect easily. The whole UI/UX experience of this app is pretty poor but I could be a little more critical here than most because I'm a UI/UX designer and I appreciate great online experiences. The app also offers their own ways to listen to music and podcasts which I think is an interesting attempt for Bose to introduce their own platform for that when there's a lot of other ways to do so. They also seem like they're paired with iTunes because you can sync your account up with them in the app. They don't even mention Spotify or Pandora as an option you can listen to music with and that to me is deceiving and makes me think I can't listen to music using the sunglasses through those apps, which in fact you can. You just have to open the apps and play like normal. The app also suggests an AR introduction with these sunglasses which I would LOVE to use once it's implemented better. Right now, I feel like they introduced this part of the sunglasses too early. It's buggy and you have to download extra apps (there's navigation app, fitness apps, a golfing app and some other games) but some of the apps are available yet for download or not available for all devices. Very interesting and enticing concept, but so far poorly introduced. - The other flaw in these sunglasses I feel is the battery life isn't that great. It's around 4 hours which seems like a decent amount but if you're taking a long walk/hike/bike ride or something, that's not a long time. I'd expect to at least get an entire day out of these guys. Overall, I think Bose is ahead of the game as far as this kind of technology goes. They def. need improvement and I'm excited to see the app and overall sunglasses develop overtime. Despite the fit, I'll hold on to these guys because I like that I don't need to remember my headphones AND sunglasses when I'm out for a walk.

Posted .Hi Hannah, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this very detailed review of our Frames. I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying using them and that you have been impressed with the technology the Frames offer and are excited to see what comes next. I just wanted to clarify that you are able to pair the Frames to your phone using the Bluetooth menu of your source device, independent from the app. We encourage use of the app as you get all the additional features that you mentioned in your review. Thank you so much for your interest in the Frames and we hope you continue to enjoy them! Kindest, Kerri - Bose Technical Support Specialist

Shades to Rock Out By
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wait, hold da phone, I can jam at the beach or at the pool while wearing cool shades. Sign me up! Whoever came up with this brilliant piece of tech should get a raise and a paid vacation to a tropical Island. They sound convincing enough to be enjoyable and the availability of changing out to different lenses makes this more of a versatile product. Now I can keep my killer headphones at home.

Great concept but......
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the concept of open ears combined with cool eyewear. If you remember your sunglasses you always have easy assess to phone calls. Much better than wearing silly looking AirPods. Here’s the but. I wish the volume was louder and the bass was deeper. I know there’s just so much you can pack in a frame but sometimes I want to listen to music that’s banging!

Convenient and awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's like having a 360 speaker follow you around. Not for bass heavy music but the soundstage is good. People can hear them in quiet environments, but when everyone is moving and working around you no one will notice and always be surprised when you tell them to listen to Father's track ICEMAN with them. I'm wary of Bluetooth headsets, I've always been a fan of line in headsets but these have been great. I highly recommend.

Absolutely Love these sunglasses / glasses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound great, typical Bose sound as expected. The lenses pop out and interchangeable. So i ordered custom prescription lenses to these and now I love them more. Definitely recommend them, just remember open ear tech should not be compared with regular head phones. The purpose of these is to hear music and calls with out obstructing your ears and canceling out any sound. But in spite of it being open ear the sound to me is great.

GREAT QUALITY!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for my husband for Father’s Day last year, and they are still working great, and looking good! He was crowned the coolest guy at work when he wore these because nobody knew that you could have bluetooth glasses. LOL He can talk to me on them, listen to music, etc. and nobody can hear them.

Works As Intended
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These glasses do pretty much exactly what they advertise, you get a pair of glasses capable of acting as a pair of headphones. The only downside to these is that at certain volumes everyone can hear them around you, so if you like to listen to your music with the volume turned up, these might produce extra noise for others compared to a pair of earbuds or other headphones.

Wicked awesome shades
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How cool is this? Shades that double as Bluetooth headphones. The future is here now! I can wear these over my Rx shades in the house when I want to listen to something privately. Mainly.....I will see you at the pool :) Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars? I'd like more bass and the ability to go a teeny bit louder. That's it though.

Good enough
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These glassess are great not perfect but great They do help with the sun and the sound is great but i noticed that some phone limit the sound the sunglasses make due to setting on the phone so i would look into that first before purchasing this item glasses are worth the price i already pay 150 for raybans and these glasses are built to last.

Great sounding speakers
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speakers in the Bose frames sound really good. I really like the sunglasses themselves. Only thing that I have a problem with is they slide down my face a little bit because the arms of the glasses are to big where the speakers are and my face isn’t deep enough for them to fit perfectly. Would be nice to have some nose pieces for grip so they would stay in place.

Much more comfortable than earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Until recently, I didn't know that such a product existed. I had tried at least four different brands of earbuds to use during my bicycle rides, and none were comfortable. And a number of the earbuds kept falling out no matter how many times I adjusted the fit. These glasses are SO much nicer! The sound is great -- what else would you expect from Bose? -- and they fit my face comfortably.

Really cool
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the battery does great. It’s not that loud. It’s for walking down the aisle and you can hear your tunes and everything else around you. Which is great for safety/security. It you put it in max. It sounds like a lot of treble noise to passerby’s. Similar to loud earphones. There’s s tiny button. I don’t wanna ruin it. It’s designed well. I’d like it slimmer and a bit louder one day. If not I’ll buy these legit forever. Already thinking of stocking up. Anyway. They aren’t good with wind noise. Loud areas or commercial aviation travel. Around the home, shopping, walking, maybe jog def gym, bike riding, driving if you don’t want too much music going on and can take calls on it !!!! And no one complains about how I sound. And sometimes I cannot hear them even on the max setting.

Bose Bluetooth sunglasses
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice, simple & easy to use. Bose delivers all the time. The sound is great for a little speaker. I just wish there was a volume control to make louder. It has a pre-set volume. The only way to make louder is to cup both ears with your palm, then it gets real loud. You could answer & make calls too on it. No one would know you are talking to someone. Very 007 James Bondish. But satisfied with them.

An excellent good day enhancer and bad day buster!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Gen-X husband's favorite gift ever. He says 10/10 or 5/5! An 80's/90's Ray-Ban Wayfarer fan, and a music lover, these glasses combo'ed his favorites to keep him smiling throughout drives, projects and time outdoors. The well-made glasses look great and are sturdy, and the sound quality is excellent. Bose, of course! Thanks for helping me win this Father's Day!

Good sound and glasses
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall these glasses are pretty great. I got different lenses which makes them look better and the sound is pretty good for leisure activities. I’ve used them when walking or shopping and I enjoy having the music. And besides the music they are overall good sunglasses. Why buy expensive ray bands when you can have these with music for around the same price.

Decent product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the plastic is good overall. The sounds is clean, but lacks bass. The issue I have is terrible battery life. Overall should be about 100 dollars. Overpriced for what you get. If they improve on this, then it may be worth more.
