This is actually a good idea. Sense they started the hands-free law in Tennessee. You can wear sunglasses and listen to music and talk on the phone. Plus, it’s Bose so you know it’s amazing idea. I have the Bose QC35 wireless headphones and they sound amazing. The sound in these sunglasses are great. Great idea!

These are great! Good sound like you would expect from Bose. Great for outdoor activities. I do wish they made clear lenses for inside use like at work where you also need to be aware of the sounds around you. But I guess I could just pop the lenses out when inside. Problem solved.

I expected good quality with Bose, but these are GREAT!
The sound is exceptional and I can still hear what’s going on around me, making it great for driving!
I have very diminished hearing in my right ear, but I hear the music and my phone conversations in crystal clear stereo wearing these!
They’re AWESOME!

It’s a good idea however the lens are not great quality. Not sure if they are truly polarized? Sound is good but sun blockage is marginal. Bose should stick to sound and stay out of the sunglass business.

I LOVE these. It's great not having to fiddle with wires or being afraid I drop one ear bud. The sound quality is fantastic and you can still hear surrounding noise so it doesn't completely silence your surroundings. I feel safer when I'm out walking with these.

These BOSE glasses may appear expensive at first, but once you try them, you’ll find out how amazing they truly are! Also, while they will offer perception lenses “eventually”, my option has already placed an order for me.
They don’t require any ear inserts, and the audio is great... try em out!

The Frames have good clear sound when listening to music, and when speaking the microphone is clear and not muffled when I have conversations.
I live in the Southwest and one reason I purchased these are to listen to music doing yard work or sitting in the sun. When it is near 100 degrees the frames start disconnecting form the phone-and the battery depletes fast.
Also, every other call that Ir receive is muffled and have to call the caller back in order to hear them. I have already returned one pair for the same reason and most likely will do that with these frames.

Brand response from Bose

Hey Chucker,
It's great to hear that you enjoy the spacious and clear audio that Bose Frames provides. We have some quick and simple troubleshooting steps to resolve the Bluetooth issues you've described on our support site - https://bose.life/30663ZI. Frames Rondo can actually provide up to 3.5 hours of wireless playback time. In the unlikely event that you're not able to fully benefit from this, we'd love to hear from you. http://Bose.life/globalsupport

Replaced the lenses with transitions and now are my daily wear. When I cup my ears the sound is so much better. Wish there was some kind of extending sound guide. A simple sliding piece of the nylon would be perfect. Still, overall awesome frames!

Pro
-Great audio
-Auto off feature when turning the glasses upside down
-Sweat resistant (IPX2)
Con
-Not private
-3 hr battery life
-Bulky
-Bose AR is limited
Really a 3.5 stars. The glasses part aren’t the best, but the sound quality is impressive. Other people can sometimes hear what you’re listening to, and the battery life is short. It has some shortcomings, but it does what it’s meant to do, which is great audio without blocking out the rest of the world. It’s a unique experience to be able to hear music and podcasts as if they were playing right in your ear, and at the same time listen and hold conversation like normal.
Build
The Rondo runs a bit small. The frame has four speakers on each side, with a single multi-function button and charging contacts on the right side. I’m sure the internal sound technology is really impressive, but the outside frame, while light, feels bulky and plasticky. The temples are thick, so a lot of it make contact with my face, which can feel uncomfortable after a while, especially if I’m sweating. Speaking of which, they are sweat resistant, but only slightly, against dripping water (IPX2). The lenses are lightly tinted and feels like movie 3D glasses. It feels like they’ll scratch easily.
Function
Nothing fancy. You press the button once to play/pause, twice for next, and three times for previous. For me, the button is too close to the hinge, and I often accidentally hit it. It does have a cool auto off feature whenever you turn the glasses upside down, but can be too quick to activate.
The app does nothing other than control your music, show battery level, and links to Bose AR apps. No equalization or any other settings. Bose AR may be a cool feature, but right now it’s not well utilized. Mostly interactive stories and navigation guide based on your head movement.
Battery life is not that great. I got about 3 hours.
Sound
The sound is impressively good. It sounds as good as other expensive headphones, except I can still hear my surroundings. For music, the sounds are immersive, the vocals are clear and the instruments stand out. Not as good for movies (you’ll won’t likely use these for watching videos anyway), but you still get good sound directions. The bass is a neutral level and can’t be adjusted, so if you need booming bass, then you may be disappointed.
Audio level and privacy can be an issue. In a quiet place, it’s plenty loud and the whole room can clearly hear it. With average background noise (in a room or outside), it’s more muffled, but someone close to you can still hear it clearly. In louder places (on the road or crowded places), the frame is drowned out.

This is a very innovative product. I never realized sunglasses could play music and answer phones. It doesn’t come with very good instructions so I’m still trying to figure it out.
