Sound quality may suffer if bass and treble controls are set to extreme levels. Try adjusting the controls to mid-range levels; this may improve sound quality. Be sure to turn off both audio enhancements and special equalizer settings found on the source.

The other end would feel that you are located inside a well.

If you're having trouble being heard on calls, make sure the earbuds are being worn properly, and make sure nothing is blocking the mic holes (e.g. any headgear). Pairing the device is more difficult than it should be. Customer support from Bose is non-existent. The sound quality is not at all as advertised. Yhe device does not consistently pair and work properly.
