I love this speaker! This sound is crisp and clear, even at high levels. It's a little pricey but, considering that the Bose Revolve+ goes for $299, paying $50 more to have wifi, Alexa and, to have access to mostly all of your favorite music outlets (Pandora, Amazon Music, SiriusXM), it's well worth the price. I say go for it and happy listening!

The unit works great. Being partially handicapped, it’s nice to take my music anywhere in my home from room to room. Including the shower since it’s water resistant but not water proof. My pet peeves are well known to Bose. I really wish there were preset buttons built on the unit. There’s plenty of room for them. Not a fan of yet another app I have to download and use when I already own sound touch AND Bose connect speakers. The fact that I have to open the app to change stations or make any kind of adjustment is tedious. Every time I have to refer to the app I feel like I may as well use it as a Bluetooth speaker. But if you’re a long time Bose lover like me, buy it. The sound is incredible. And now that I can control the bass, it makes it even better using it at night when things quiet down. Haven’t used the voice controls due to privacy concerns but I’m sure it adds another layer of options. It does remind me of an oversized broadcaster’s microphone. Brings back memories.

The sound quality meets, if not exceeds, The high expectation we’ve come to expect from Bose. The portability is also great in that it can get dirty and damp but cleans up great without any negative effects from enduring splashes from poolside use. The flexible handle is comfortable and sturdy. And the battery life is impressive. I’ve run the speaker through a night’s sleep and it’s still going strong when I wake and take it into the bathroom to shower. The big fail: the buttons on top are indistinguishable and should have raised, identifiable blisters for finger recognition at a minimum. But for a quality product from Bose, I would have expected the buttons to light up for easy identification. In a dimly-lit room or at dusk I have to use the flashlight on my phone to use the speaker. For this reason alone the speaker gets the 4-star rating.

Great for parties or just great when you’re cooking or cleaning it’s waterproof. It’s amazing. We love it. We’ve already recommended this product to most of our friends because they like that. It’s loud and it carries a base.

I love these "pails"! We have 2 of them and got my brother-in-law one as a gift. Setup of this and all of the Bose speakers I bought has been finicky at best. Sometimes the speakers won't group, sometimes show as unavailable. But when they work, it's really great. And of course, it sounds like Bose...which I have been a fan for years. dating back to the old Lifestyle systems (which I still have 2 of them that sound great after 10+ years). it's amazing how good they sound given their size. I carry it around the house or out into the yard. I also bought the charging cradle to make it easy to just plop it down and let it charge. Love these!

Great sound. Can hide it and nor realize where sound is coming from. Great bass. Very portable. Well made. Good battery.

I am a BOSE loyal customer for over 30 years, their sound always surprises me when Ii purchase a new speaker/technology. I LOVE the Smart speakers they support and especially the portability of the BOSE Portable smart speaker. The sound fills the space beautifully and I love th extra control on the app for extra BASS, TREBLE . They pair beautifully for a whole house experience. We use this on our Boat Dock and enjoy great sound everywhere!

I have several Bose portable speakers which are all great speakers but this one is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. The sound quality is amazing and it has great portability. My favorite feature is the built in Alexa and wifi. The only thing I don’t like is this not a biggie but the buttons on top are very tiny so you really need to take a second look to make sure you’re pressing the correct one.

Good sound quality and very portable! Was unable to pair it with my Bose Soundbar which should have been doable.

The Portable Smart Speaker offers crisp, clear sound with good bass for its size. For the home, I recommend the Bose Home Speaker 500. It offers more power. Besides the Portable Smart Speaker, you may want to consider the Sonos Move for outdoor use. Bose offers the 360 surround sound. Sonos is a more boxy speaker, but offers a clear powerful sound. I own all three.

This is the one year update. Great speakers and I highly recommend buying one if you're looking for a bluetooth speaker. Great Bose sound, clear, crisp notes, vibrant base, a well rounded performer! The App is incredibly easy to use.

Best investment. Sound is amazing. Great to carry everywhere . Easy to pair with Iphone or galaxy phone . I really recomend anyone to invest on this speaker.

Sounds great. The handle is a nice feature. Base is good quality for a small speaker and the range is pretty good. The battery will last a while playing music but if you don’t remember to shut it down completely the light and sensors (voice activated) will drain the battery.

Excellent speaker that met all my expectations. After receiving an Ipod touch for a gift I was on the lookout for a quality speaker. Bose is the absolute best sounding and long lasting speaker. It is easy to use and portable. I previously had an original ipod sound dock for my ipod classic which I have had for more than 15 years. The sound quality is great and holds a pretty good charge. If you are a music lover like me that listens to music every day this is a good investment. Highly recommend this speaker.

This Bose portable speaker is an amazing devise with compact design, very easy to setup and the sound is divine. Easy connections with my iMac and international radio. Portability and connectivity are another pros for what I like my Bose speaker being so easy to move from place to place and right away ready to use it.

The Bose Portable home speaker is great. I really like the flexibility of it being rechargeable and we can take it anywhere. It connects to bluetooth or wireless. It can also work with either google or alexa. We use more of the amazon products so alexa seems to work the best for us but that is a personal preference. At this point I don't see any significant downside to the speaker. It is somewhat expensive but I really like the sound. Battery life isn't great but since I can easily recharge it overnight it isn't a big deal.

Clear sound. Great bass. Balance between bass, midrange, and highs is excellent. Very portable. Light.
