A few weeks ago I was looking to upgrade from my old LG bluetooth headset. I was looking at these earphones and was reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, googling all information about them as I could find before buying them. I needed noise canceling to not hear the world around me at all, wired cause wireless/ bluetooth makes audio sound a bit worse, aware mode incase I wanted to hear cars, horns, emergency when walking on street. I found these and kept reading. I decided to buy them cause I have a 30 day return and ended up loving them. 1. They're comfortable 2. Yes, the box is weird to get used to but when in the pocket, it's like it's not there. 3. The noise canceling is in the top, love it. I can't hear anything but my audio unless I turn on the aware mode. 4. The case fits in the pocket like a wallet. 5. Price... it's fair. For those kinds of earphones, I'd pay the same again. I own two Bose bluetooth stereo speaker mini (original version) and love their company!

I travel a lot for work, and I travel light. These earbuds are simple, compact and work amazingly well. I was a bit leery about the comfort of the earbuds on long trips, but seemed to do just fine. The lack of wireless option would be the only drawback for me, but i sacrificed that fro extreme portability. But performance wise, they work awesome.

I bought this because I travel a lot so I'm around lots of noises of planes and people at airports in general ... At first I thought it was quite expensive and didn't know if I was ready to make that commitment but I am so happy I did. It was worth every penny ! I don't even hear crying babies next to me and the plane and not only that the engine noise of the plane engine noise is gone ! I was sold on it after trying out my son purchased one. This item is worth the price !

When I was doing a little research prior to the purchase, not many people were reviewing this for gym use which is my primary use.. so I was a little worried about cord length since a lot of people had that comment. I am well over 6 feet tall and not a problem for me. Takes a little used to this style earphone if not used to it, but after two weeks its no problem. The sound quality is excellent and volume gets much louder than traditional earphones. Don't even need to max them out as I did with the old earphones. As far as noise reduction, it is excellent at blocking out white noise such as the engines from airplanes, but not so good at blocking out variable noises such as people talking.. so don't expect to just turn them "on" without music playing and not hear people talking or background music playing.. however with music playing through the headphones at a decent volume in noise reduction mode, it does a very good job of blocking out background sounds, including people talking. I do have sensitive hearing which is why I got these in the first place! Overall I am happy with them and probably a lot less obtrusive than the full headphone style which I didn't want.. but have not tried out. Also, try out the various size ear plugs, they come with three, even if they are different for each ear... that is the key to blocking out the noise!

This product is so comfortable that you dont even know that you are wearing them except that the world just turned into a silent film. The audio quality is good with moderate bass. My only con is that the battery pack at the end of the wire is hard to pocket sometimes with tighter pants.

Used to use the over the ear model but this one does a great job while flying and it's very compact.

The sound that comes out is amazing. Clean and clear, they are comfy on the ears also. Better then beats by u know who in my opinion.

The headphones are comfortable and really have quality sound.

I got these for the plane and they really work. They are also comfortable.

I was looking for earbuds with noise cancelling [for work, gym, and on airplane] and I did not want the over the ear large headphones. These earbuds are amazing and work too well. On the airplane I purposely set by the engines and could not hear anything but the music.

Very comfortable to wear. Noise cancellation works great. These are my second pair.

These headphones do a very good job at blocking the loud background noise when I ride the train to work. It's amazing to turn them on hear the noise level around me drop dramatically. I don't have to turn the volume up nearly as loud as I do with other headphones. They don't block conversation noise nearly as well as background noise. They also don't work very well when it's windy outside. Overall, I think they work very well for their intended purpose.

The noise cancellation works as advertised. I love it for all my trips. I normally prefer the over-ear variety, but these are great because they are so comfortable, and easy to pack. I don't regret getting these over the bulkier over-ear headphones.

They are pretty good. I travel 200k plus miles a year. I bought them for a 15 hour flight and was quite impressed with them. They do have a small box on cable that is slightly annoying, but after dealing with it on such a long flight, it really isn't so bad. These are the most comfortable ear buds I've ever had. They last long off a charge. The price is kind of steep for ear buds though.

Elected to purchase these Bose ear buds after my Beats Tour 2 model began to have issues. The Best Buy store associate recommended these, and have been very pleased so far. Yes, they are a little pricey for ear buds, but the build quality, easy of use, and comfortable ear fit certainly illustrates their value. I wear these ear buds most of the day for work, and find them comfortable for all my calls. Highly recommend.

I originally tried the Bose Freestyles and they were pretty good. I decided to spend the extra money on the Bose Quiet Comfort 20's and it was the best decision I ever made. The noise canceling feature is amazing. I use them every day and only have to charge them once a week at the most....just remember to turn the noise canceling feature off when you're done using them!

Although not the best for true audiophiles because Bose shapes their noise, they are the best for travelers who want it quiet or for those that just like to hear their music, books, etc. without straining to hear it over other noises! I've bought two of these - because I ended up losing one pair.
