These headphones are expensive but worth every penny. The sound is crisp and clear, the materials are high quality, and fit is very good. I use these for the gym and running outdoors. The noise cancellation is amazing.

    A Commuter's Dream Product

As an active commuter, this meets the exact needs I had in mind. The noise cancellation feature is quite great, and the versatility to turn it off and on works wonders when choosing to zone out noise or needing to let in the outside world to hear traffic noises, airplane and train announcements, etc. As a person with tiny ears, the small size actually fits and they have not fallen out once since I purchased them. That's never happened, even with other products. The price might seem somewhat high for bud headphones, but they meet every need i have, which no other bud headphone has done. If I had one wish, it would be that the case came with a clip to attach to the headphone cord or other travel bag. I

This qc20i is an updated product since 2014, and much better. The bass reproduction is well balanced and active noise canceling brings your music up front with perfect staging. I just enjoy all genres with these phones, so good that i have to watch myself when crossing on the street, blocks out traffic a little too well which can be dangerous. The wirez are long and prefer it over bt, and has longer battery life too. While the phones are in ear and stay in there comfortably. Prices are great in best buy, get yours you wont regret it.

I bought these as a replacement for my QC-3s. I loved the QC3s and wouldn't have replaced them except I was going to have to replace the leather ear pieces, a new cable and figured if I was going to put $50 in them might as well get a new headset. I probably have close to 30 different earphones and have tried just about every brand out there. I seen the QC20s and figured I would give them a try. The QC20s are nice because they are so small. I can have the travel case they came with in my pocket and I'm ready to go. They also take up 1/10th the space the QC-3s did in my backpack and as any frequent flyer knows overhead space is a premium and so the smaller my bag the better off I am traveling. Sound quality is above average but I will say is not the best I have ever heard. It has strong bass, almost overpowering but seems to be missing some on the high ends. Overall a very good sound and sound like most Bose earphones with a overall natural blend. This great sound is sometimes muddied as the ear buds do not seal out all outside noise. On a noisy flight the noise cancelation was trying to make up for the engine noise and just seemed to add to the noise. I could put my finger over the mic and it would clear up. Now walking around in a quieter area and the sound is great. A nice feature these headphones has is a switch on the remote that allows you to hear whats going on around you. It makes it nice to wear these and walk up to a counter to order food or have a conversation with someone without having to pull the ear pieces out of your ears. I kind of wonder about the battery pack life and the short doggle cable on it to plug in. I really wish there was a way to attach this to my phone instead of dangling loose and catching on everything. This is something that could be improved on. I tried to stick velcro to it but the rubber like material but it refuses to let me glue anything to it. As of now I carry a rubber band to attach to the back of my phone. I have also had the earphones give me a loud pop on several occasions (3 so far in a month of use). Not sure where it comes from but it is enough to make me jump. My only other gripe is the high price for these earphones. Is it worth it? Only time will tell. There is more to like about these than dislike but there are many earphones for much less that sound as good. Adding noise canceling technology to these is where they do shine It is nice to have ear buds with noise canceling and in such a small package makes the convenience worth it.

2015 Bose QC20 Better Sound Quality

I had the first 2013 Bose QC20 for my iPhone. The sound quality from them were great. I saw that Bose came out with a new version of the QC20 I read a lot of reviews to see what the difference. After reading the reviews I decided to buy the new version which the sound quality is better than the original Bose QC20 2013 model. I also like the color which is black and blue. You can still get the original ones for $249 but I just brought the new bose for $264 with my discount and reward points I had. I gave/sold my other Bose headphones which I did not have a problem with them since I had them from 2013 so I expect these headphones will last a long time. I would recommend this purchase the noise cancelling is better in my option on the newer model and the battery life seems to last longer. I guess because its new.

I've used a number of other noise cancelling headphones over the years. These Bose QuietComfort 20's are by far the best. They easily beat any others I've tried in the noise cancellation department. Even better, you can wear them for many hours with no discomfort. They are amazingly light and you forget you have them on. I've used them for flights lasting over 12 hours. They recharge quickly and pack up super small, a bonus when traveling light. We ended up buying a second pair so we both have a set. Highly recommended.

Read many reviews before picking these up. Very pleased with the sound quality and the comfort. Only drawback is the noise canceling dongle but it's to be expected and Bose did a good job of minimizing the bulk. Very light weight.

I am pretty impressed with these headphones. I love how portable they are, and if you travel regularly, these are an absolute must. I used them in my recent trip from Los Angeles to London, and the battery lasted the entire 10 hour flight and I still had battery to go. The noise cancelling feature reduced engine noise by easily 80%. Sound quality is pretty good too, a bit heavy on the base for my taste, but very clear good quality sound overall.

Pros: - Cords feel substantial enough that I don't worry they will get flakey right away. - Noise cancellation is impressive. - Ear pieces are super comfortable. - Long battery life is as advertised and great for long flights. I hope capacity will stay high. I've only had them for one month. Cons: - Cord section between battery and phone plug seems too short in certain situations, forces battery module to be awkwardly close to device.

they sound good, are quite comfortable, and work even when the power is turned off for the noise cancelling. not as good as the bose quiet comfort headphones for noise cancelling but much more compact for travelling. I use the earbuds now when flying and find them good enough to not carry the headphones any longer.

    Best Noise Cancelling Earbuds

I purchased the Bose QC-20 earbuds to replace my old Sony noise cancelling earbuds. I tried the QC-20's out at the airport and was shocked at how well they worked. They cut out almost all the external noise and still provided a great audio sound. I used them on my trip to Europe last month and they worked great. The airplane noise was almost completely eliminated which allowed me to lower my sound volume. The sound quality is very good with a rich base which gives everything a surround-sound feel. PROS: - Best in class Noise Cancelling - Rich full sound - Audio is very clear when talking on the phone (send/receive) - Long Battery life - Batteries charges up very quickly - Able to control my iPhone volume, skip track, answer phone - Able to work even when batteries are dead - However, no noise cancelling or audio processing - Awareness button to turn-off N/C to listen to other people or announcements - Cables are quality and do not tangle - Right-angle connector fits well when connected to my phone and in my pocket. - Nice travel case - Stay put in my ear without falling out (includes 3-different sizes of earbuds) - Also great for mowing lawns, vacuuming, or operating lound equipment - just put a pair of hearing protection ear muffs over the earbuds for extreme noise cancelling. CONS - Costs $250.00 - No auto shut off to prevent battery drain Summary: Buy if you travel or need noise cancelling. The cost is very reasonable for these earbuds.

I bought these for my wife prior to taking a vacation this summer. She likes the fact that they are so compact and fit snugly inside her ears. She has a pair of Bose over the ear but those really are conducive for airline travel. Now that Bose has perfected the noise canceling features into an ear bud they are perfect for purse or pocket. Now when we travel we have a choice! You'll spend more but then again you get MORE than you pay for with these marvelous earbuds...you'll not regret it!!!

Purchased Bose in ear after using Bose over ear noise cancelling headphones for years. I wear glasses and the comfort of the in ear headphones combined with great noise cancelling made the flights much more enjoyable. Music sounds great on too. Only issue is how sensitive the mic is when making calls. People comment about other people on the call if there are conversations across the room. Apple headphones do a much better job of eliminating background noise coming through mic. Overall, great headphones if you fly a lot.

I really enjoy the quality of sound from these in ear headphones. Crisp, clean and the noise cancelling, is second to none. You literally can hear no other noise beyond your own bodies cracks and pops, so hearing the music is a breeze. They're also incredibly comfortable. No ear pain from poor fit. The battery pack for the noise cancelling is also extremely light. The carrying case is a nice touch too. For the price I thought it would be a hard shell though, but I'm still not going to ding this set a star for this minor over sight. I'd highly recommend these to anyone!

I bought this to replace my Quiet Comfort over the ear noise cancelling headphones, as the leather on the ear cuffs fell apart after a couple years with very little use. These are very comfortable and offer good noise cancellation considering they are not over the ear. They cannot compete with the over ear of course, but it is about as good as i imagine you can get in an earbud. The option to be able to use these without noise cancellation, thus saving battery life is excellent as well.

Five stars for sound quality, five stars for noise cancellation, which works stunningly well, great fit as well. Be sure that you see the size of the noise cancellation device. It is approximately the size of an old ipod nano. Thankfully it is placed next to the audio plug, such that it can be held with your device in one hand, or just stay in your pocket. This is really good design. But it is pretty hard to recommend for exercise unless you are going to use an armband or something else that secures the device.

I was on a plane. At the end of the flight I took off the ear buds and heard a baby crying. I looked at the guy sitting next to me who had a painful look on his face. I said that it is a shame that landing is hard on baby's and they cry. He said that the baby cried the whole flight. I had no idea. These noise cancelling ear buds are GREAT!!!

Very good headphones that really mute out external noise. They are very comfortable to wear for extended periods. The only complaint I have is that the cord length between the volume control and each earpiece is too short.
