Comfortable and they just plane work

I've been using the Bose "on the ear" headset on airline flights for years and wanted something smaller. These fit the bill perfectly. They are secure in the ear and you really forget they are there. I opted to not get the "apple" model because they are really "only" for apple products, so connecting to a normal laptop or even the jack on a plane could be a problem. This model works perfectly on everything. I did not get these specifically for making calls on my iphone, but they do work fine without the extra features. I've not stressed the battery beyond 5-6 hours without plugging in to charge so I can't say just how long they would last. That battery pack could be considered the only drawback, it's just ..... well I guess you have to put the battery somewhere. Doesn't take away from my 5-stars as I did my research and knew this before I make the purchase, so I can't complain. The actual noise cancellation really does seem on par with my older Bose set; takes the airplane noise away and if you listen to music or a movie you'll totally forget the normal airplane "hiss" noise from the cancellation. All in all I would buy again.

love these headphones. They are pricey but they stay in my ears the way they should. The noise canceling works great! I use them for conference calls and even after hours of use, they are still comfortable. Just be careful...people can sneak up on you because you can't hear noises outside of what you are plugged into.

I was skeptical when the rep told me the ear buds would fit because even the smallest ones I'd tried never fit and would fall out. These not only fit but they were very comfortable and stayed in. Now, to think that ear buds could be noise canceling was beyond belief, but when the switch was flipped the shock registered on my face. This was amazing! These wonderful tiny ear buds were just as effective as the best Bose noise canceling over the head headphones I tried and these would fit in my pocket! My husband and I have different tastes in music. He blasts his through the radio when we travel so on our last long road trip I used these for hours and was in my own little world hearing the fabulous sound of my own music from my iPod.

I fly all the time and there are the best in-ear noise canceling earphones on the market. I had the over-the-ear Bose and they hurt my ears, and these don't. Plus the stir easily in a small case and in my briefcase. A must for travelers. Quiets the airplane noise and allows you to enjoy the music or audio book. Or justi peace and quiet.

I was skeptical buying a set of headphones for more than what some people pay in a month for a car payment, but let me tell you it was worth it. You see, I'm a frequent traveler and these headphones are able to drown out the noise around me and make me feel like I'm flying on a cloud through the sky. I tried the over the ear headphones, but they never quite worked like these. The bass is somewhat absent from the music but tweaking the equalizer (on my phone) helps with that somewhat. The headphones fit very comfortably in my ear and have three different tips to ensure a good fit. The thing I love most about them though is the 'Aware' mode... this allows you to keep the headphones in but turns off the noise cancellation to hear whats happening around you - say when a flight attendant is asking for your order. great addition to my travel bag without the bulkiness the over the ear headphones have.

Purchased to replace a wireless set that skipped constantly. These are light weight, soft and comfortable. They provide respectable noise canceling abilities without the weight of over the ear devices. The music reproduction is awesome and clear. Best part, no echo if I fall asleep wearing these.

Very comfortable and great noise reduction. It made my 22 hours to Singapore as quiet as my living room and I actually got some great sleep. They're small and easy to carry, and charge up via USB, so no batteries to replace. I waffled for a long time because of the cost, but I have no regrets. Just buy them! You won't be sorry!

    Wow. The Sound of Silence

I never understood the sound of silence before I got these headphones. Yes they are spendy, but when you consider the off set of the cost of therapy, they aren't so bad. Seriously, the sound of silence is so therapeutic. If you need to unplug from the family, just put these babies in and drop kind of blue and you'll go to your happy place. sure you'll see their lips moving, but you won't hear a sound from them. And take these on an airplane an it actually makes travel tolerable. Yes the battery pack is a little wonky, but get over it, it isn't so bad. The comfort is amazing no fatigue for me for hours of wear which is not typical for me for an earbud. Now I just hope I never lose these.

I travel extensively and these headphones are a must for long flights! They are great for blocking out the background noise of the plane but still allow for comfort when trying to sleep. They are small and lightweight and are well worth the cost!

I bought these head phones in 2016 and used them on and off over the years. The noise cancelling was phenomenal for first 3 years and so was the fit and form. Last year the cover to the noise cancelling control lost adhesion, then the insulation as the cord coming out of the plug failed and just now the adhesive holding the ear bud together just gave up. I loves the head phones and when I bought them in 2016 I paid 300dollars. For that much money i wish the adhesives would have held up. Still a good purchase and I will miss them!

Probably can't say anything about these earphones that hasn't already been said. They work and work well. They work with my PC, Tablet and Samsung Galaxy S6. I charge them every week when I travel. I've never run out of charge, but never want to either. Pricier than others, but worth the difference.

This headphone does a great job cancelling ambient noise. However, do not expect it to cancel ALL noise. No noise cancelling headphone will do that. I bought this mainly for use in the air. Noises in the aircraft cabin are mostly low frequencies (engines, vibrations), but consist of some mid to high frequencies as well (air vents). The headphone cancels low frequencies very well, while it lets some higher frequency sounds to pass through (it's noticeable if you are not playing music, but is acceptable otherwise). Sound quality is not exceptional, but is acceptable. After all the main purpose of the headphone is to cancel noise so you can play music at a lower volume, which protects your ears. The microphone does not work very well in a noisy environment. In comparison, the original Apple hands free works better by filtering out the noise so your voice is much clearer to the listener on the other end. I'd wish it comes with a Bluetooth version. Since it already has a battery pack, Bose may as well build a Bluetooth module in there.

I have tried several pairs of "ear bud" type headphones, most if not all fell out during use, none had noise reduction features, I fly frequently and have been using regular headphones which are cumbersome at best. These are comfortable, long lasting charge and work fantastic with my IPAD.

These noise cancelling ear buds are fantstic. I have Bose over the ear headphones as well - these are just as good for noise isolation, but far more comfortable on long overnight flights... I can easily fall asleep with these earbuds. The sound quality is really solid. The only complaint is the microphone - sometimes you need to hold these near your mouth in order to be heard clearly. Plus the price is a bit high - but you get what you pay for.

Got these for my partner because he was tired of my loud videogames and they work great! The noise cancelling is surprisingly good for in-ear headphones! They're incredibly comfortable and the battery lasts a very long time. I'm incredibly pleased with my purchase.

These in ear buds are great. I bought these to replace my bose over ear noise canceling head phone. Top notch sound quality, in ear fit, battery life, & noise cancellation. The only thing I don't like is the bulky on/off controll attachment that is awkward when using on the go with my phone. It is necessary for the noise cancellation function so there's not much Bose could have done better but that's my only gripe. Well, also the price is a little over the top but awesome doesn't come cheap. Now I don't look like I'm trying to be a hipster using ear phones in public when I just want great sound and noise canceling.

I was unsure at first nd tried them nd by far the best set of in ear headphones I've ever had or on the market out there. I've had the other bose headphones in ear nd out of ear ones also the Dre beats both in ear nd out....ND was just amazed by not only the quality but the sound is unreal could not believe how nice nd crisp they sound nd then turning on the noise cancelling wow you don't here nothing but the music. Just by far the best headphones still cannot believe or understand how they our that great... simply amazing what bose has done nd how they have changed the game up now other manufacturers have got to be upset with this fantastic piece of not only quality but design aswell.. if you got the money or put em on a credit card cause your definitely going to want these .. they do not want to come out of your ear witch makes them great for activities and such.....bose out did themselves

I've tried many different noise-canceling earbuds and headphones, including the Bose over-ear ones. These are, by far, the best, most convenient, and most comfortable!. They do not cancel all noise... You will still be able to hear muffled voices and sounds if you are just using them for quiet and not playing music or watching a movie. The muffled sounds are not annoying, however. These are awesome for use during flights... Really block out crying babies, engine roar, and irritating fellow passengers. Now, if they will just stop the child behind me from kicking my seat.....

I spend a lot of time in airplanes. These really make flights more enjoyable. The active noise cancelling is fantastic and I only have to charge them 1 to 2 times per month. Very comfortable even for extended use.
