I love Bose noise canceling headsets. I have had at least one set for years. I travel enough to make the cost worth it. These earbuds make traveling with a good noise canceling headset so much easier. The comfort for the ear is fantastic. it holds a great charge, and it is a great size for traveling or on the go. So much easier than my previous set which sits over the ear.

i use headphone daily for at least 8 hours a day for work. These are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever used. Noise cancellation works great and sound is clear and full. Can also use them while battery is recharging.

I use these headphones for air travel. They do a great job of canceling out the drone of the engines and I can actually hear the music. The fit is excellent and they are light in weight. I highly recommend them.

Best Noise-Cancelling Earbuds

These earbuds are fantastic. I own these as well as the over-ear QC-15s and I find that they both behave about the same, which is extraordinarily well. These can be worn for hours without discomfort, unlike the apple buds given out with iPhones, and I find that they aren't as bulky as the overears. They were a bit challenging to learn how to put in at first... but it isn't a problem once you get used to it.
I tend to prefer these for day-to-day use when out and about town because you can toggle the noise-cancelling feature, but the over-ear design for plane travel.

Comfortable and looking forward to buy other colors. Thought they would fall off but it doesn't, excellent for jogging. Enjoyed the noise canceling feature. The tips are great since all ears have different size.

Works exactly as described. Don't waste your money on anything else! Beats who? Nothing compares, I can work at my computer with the QC on and can't hear my kids yelling in the next room over when they get excited. Will definitely use these for road trips, plane rides, or any time I want some quiet time. The sound, when playing music, movies, and game play is impeccable. They are so comfortable, you don't realize that you have ear buds in. Wear them for hours and I don't get headaches like I would from Beats. I will never buy anything else but these buds!

Absolute Silence

You don't realize how much noise you are surrounded by until you try these. Absolute silence, I work in a office filled with white noise, circling air fans, and people on the phone all day. I've tried several noise cancelation headphones and was about to give up until I tried these. The white noise is gone, I can no longer hear the printer on the other side of my cube. The people talking are gone except for the very loud and noisy and they are nothing but a muffle. Music is crisp and as clean as any premium over the ear headset I've tried. The ear piece material is so soft that I can wear these all day without noticing them as I work. My only complaint is the Noise Canceling component that you switch on and off has a 1 1/2 inch cord to plug into your phone. This causes it to hang out of your caring belt case or pocket when on the move. The cord to the phone is so short there is simply no place to store it. The ear piece cord length to the phone is long enough to store your phone on your hip or on the table next to your chair but no further. Attaching a inline extension cable create a tremendous electrical noise regardless of the several cable extenders I've tried. In short the cable length is what it is and can not be extended.

Great sound but doesn't cancel high pitch sounds.

These earphones deliver excellent sound. As noise cancellation goes, they take away most low pitch sounds like the engine noise on a plane. But they do NOT cancel high pitch noise like people talking or that awful, tinny noise that comes through speaker systems that seem to be playing in almost every gym these days. In my non-expert opinion, this is most likely because the earpieces do not fit tightly in the ear canal. Bose provides three sizes S, M & L, but they're just not made to go very far into the canal or fit tightly. Hence ambient noise does filter in quite freely. They're comfortable and they stay in place very well. But they unfortunately let in plenty of high pitch noise.

Pretty Solid Noise Cancelling

I've tried a number of Noise Cancelling headphones - QC25 (over the head) which were nice n light. I didn't like the sound quality as much so I swapped them with the Sennheiser MM450x - on ear, bluetooth, noise cancelling. I liked the sound better and the wireless option, however I wasn't a fan of on-ear but every so often, it felt as if I was getting a small electric shock in my ear (take offs, a lot of turbulence) so I returned them. I was hesitant to buy these but they are pretty comfortable - I travel a lot and at times my flights are 4 hours long. I'll have these headphones in and they're comfortable, they don't get pushed inside your ear canal like most earbuds and the first time you use them, they may not feel right but if it's in your ear correctly, noise cancelling is solid. One thing I don't like is the box where you switch on the noise cancelling, it's too close to the headphone jack and pretty annoying to be honest. Sound quality - it does it's job but really don't think its anything special.

I bought these for my husband before he went on an overseas business trip, the goal was to get him earphones that were more portable and he could use on the plane and in helicopters whether he was wearing a hat or whatever.
Anyway, he was VERY happy with them, actually everyone in my family tried them on when he opened up his gift and they didn't want to give them back. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancellation works very well, they are comfortable, that's about all I could ask for.
The only obvious downside is the price, it was a little hard to justify buying these but after using them I'm happy with the purchase.
I own the BOSE QC15's, the Bose sport earbuds, the Beats headphones, and some Beats earbuds. I can easily say that the QC20i is the best out of them all. I listen to all types of music, classical, metal, hip hop, country, jazz... you name it... and the QC20i's really allow you to hear every piece of the music. The bonus is the microphone and it comes in really handy for phone use.

The earpieces fit flawlessly and seal the ear canal, resulting in great bass and excellent noise isolation. The noise reduction works surprisingly well, especially for talking . The form factor of the power pack is a little inconvenient because the cord from the power pack to your device is only about 2 inches long. The power pack is a little larger than desirable as well.

I bought a pair of these for my wife, as she spends a lot of time on the phone and on video conferencing during Covid19. She was very impressed. I was so impressed I bought a pair for myself.
In spite of the high price, these are a solid investment. The noise reduction, battery life and absence of losing Bluetooth connection during a call, thanks to the hardwired version, is invaluable. The design and build are solid.
However, I did purchase the non-nonsense Geek Squad replacement warranty for about $65 for 2 years, as these are so expensive.
They come with small medium and large ear-pieces which are great, but you can purchase spares from Bose for a few dollars. The in-ear design is a little different, as the design keeps it in your ear, but the cup rests on the edge of the canal for all-day comfort and to avoid infections that can be common with wearing in-ear buds all day.
Tried and tested design from Bose, and highly recommended. Great price from Best Buy who use real face to face employees, and don't sell knock-offs like Amazon ...

I travel on airlines weekly for my job, so noise canceling devices are a must. I had a sony pair of earbuds for years, that broke. At the time they broke my only replacement options were, on ear or covering ear headsets. I had the beats noise canceling, which were middle of the road, and after long time wearing them my ears would be crushed and start to ache. I purchased the bose noise canceling ear buds the weekend they came out and haven't looked back. They ear molds fit perfect, 3 sizes in the box, and the soft material has yet to cause any ear discomfort. The sound is on par and noise canceling is better than the larger over ear bose, I have a pair also. For traveling, size is everything. You can fit these in any pocket, on yourself or your luggage. Battery life is great and the battery light starts to flash way before it dies. It doesn't come with a charger, just a usb cable to plug into a computer port or any other wall usb charger. I use my iPad charging block, and they take 45min-1hour from complete dead to full charge. I've yet to be left without the noise canceling, as these ear buds work still work without battery, just no noise canceling.

Wings that hold ear buds in place are great - comfortable and secure. Noise canceling works freakishly well. Some reviewers have commented on pressure created by the noise canceling but I haven't noticed. Cords seem long-durable but it would be nice if they were flat and didn't tangle. Battery life is great. Sound is not over amplified or boosted - natural sounding and enjoyable. Also used the headphones for a multi hour conference call. No issues hearing others or them hearing me

Great sound when noise cancelling is on

I really enjoy the Bose QC20. They sound great when the noise canceling is on. The noise cancelling feature, is what I wanted for my commutes on the bus and walking through the city streets. Be forewarned that it will not completely cancel out (silence) all outside noises. It will muffle the sound considerably. For example, if someone is talking to you, you will barely hear them. The same for the loud city noises, like horn honking or sirens. You will hear them, but it will be very muffled. It is great that you can quickly turn off the noise cancelling with the push of the remote button, or switch off on the battery unit and still be able to listen to music. When turning off the noise cancelling with the remote, the headphones allows sound to pass through. But it will sound like the outside sounds come through a speaker, as opposed to the sounds naturally filtering through the earphone's silicone tip. But you quickly get used to it.
Sound quality: when the noise cancelling is on, you can hear all of the music (high treble and low bass). You will hear the full sounds less when the noise cancelling is turn off (either from remote or switched on on battery pack).... unless you are listening to music in a quiet space.
Battery life: I have not tested the limits of the battery life. In my 1.5 hr commute (each way, 3hr total), I will always charge them up once a day.
Remote: I got the android/Samsung version. It works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S6. I'm so happy to have volume control. I have not tested it on any other Android phones, but will try to do so and update (if I can).
I do recommend these earphones for anyone. I used the Bose IE2 prior to these and would not want to switch back. These allow to sit in complete quiet on my bus ride, or hear my music in full clear sound, as well as when I'm walking in the city streets.

I travel often for work and have tried many different noise cancelling earphones, but the Bose QuietComfort 20 earphones as the best by far!! A friend of mine who also travels frequently recommended these headphones and I am thankful he did. The headphones do a great job cancelling out the noisy hum of the plane and allow me to listen to my music or movies much better than my Beats earphones. They are much more portable as well! I am definitely recommending these earphones to anyone travelling on a plane that wants to truly enjoy their music/movies free from the background noise.

This is my second go around with these Bose earbuds, the first I returned because I was unable to get a good in-ear seal so the noise cancelling was minimal and the price was high. After experimenting with other cheaper products I found that the Bose was the better option and bought another pair. While still disappointed with the fit for my large ear canals I kept them anyway and am very glad I did. Quite by accident one day after more than a month of use I managed to get a good seal and when I turned them on was astounded by the near total quiet that ensued. The noise reduction was great as was the sound. My only minor complaint is with the volume and slight flatness of the audio but no way will I send them back this time. With a good tight fit the outside world all but disappears and I get to listen to the more pleasant sounds of my choosing. Thanks Bose.

Great improvement from the over-the-ear noise canceling headphones I was using. Perfect fit and comfortable for those long international flights. Even engine noise of the in-country small prop planes diminishes to a muted hum. I'm not used to products generally living up to the advertising, but I'm completely satisfied with the Bose QuietComfort 20 Headphones.
