I purchased a pair of these for myself and then promptly bought another pair for someone else in my household. The earbuds are comfortable and more importantly, they stay in place even with body movement. The noise cancelling functionality works much better that I thought it would since they are earbuds and I'm used to that kind of quality from an over-the-ear headphone. These are a must!!!

I have the over the ear Bose product (noise-cancelling) as well. I opted for the in-ear model herein when I forgot my over-the-ear in my rush to get to the airport. The Quiet-comfort 20i's are comfortable for an in the ear model. The noise-cancelling is excellent and the small form factor make the previous over-the-ears purchase an after thought. I'm glad to have landed on these. Great product!

I've had them for about 30 days. Always wanted Bose noise cancelling headphones, but wasn't interested in over the head type. Too concerned about my coiffure. Anyway, I've wanted to try the QC20, but was sticker shocked. I saved up enough Best Buy Reward points and gift cards that I felt comfortable taking the plunge. I travel via air for work and the QC20's are simply amazing. I've had the Beats ear buds, but they just increase the volume and base which doesn't overcome outside noise. The QC20's eliminate outside noise first then I can listen at my preferred volume. I read that these work best when the noise is constant, like on an airplane. Interestingly, they don't block out all the outside noise when mowing the lawn with a walk-behind mower. I read reviews about long term quality concerns that I haven't experienced yet. These included ear buds and noise canceling control module that came apart. I'm keeping my eyes open for those issues. The noise canceling control module is a little awkward. I currently use a rubber band to keep the control module attached to my phone rather than letting it dangle. Thinking I might get a thick strip of Velcro. Overall I'm blown away at how these operate and their ability to block out the noise.

The sound quality is good and the ANC is better than expected. Typically, I fing that earbuds are not comfortable especially after a couple of hours of use. These ear buds are very comfortable even after 2 hours of continued use. They come with three different sizes of inserts that should be no problem to find your correct size. I used this while doing yard work and mowing the lawn and was still able to hear the music the whole time. I could hear the lawn mower but, it was signifficantly reduced and was not an issue for the earbuds. The battery life is really good and I really havent timed how long it would last. I consider the rechargeable battery life a non issue and even if it does go out, you would only lose the ANC feature. The sound is balanced and could probably use alittle more base. I know that these are just ear buds and if you expect deeper sounds go with the over the ear. My only real complaint and one star removed is becuase the lenth of the audi jack cord is too short. The short lenght between the battery/ANC block is about an inch and a half which makes using this in your pocket a challange and alomost takes away the portablity factor and hopefully does not reduce the life of the cable.

One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Fits ear just right, great sound right out of the box. Will make another purchase for my daughter.

absolutely love these headphones. I use these every time i fly and it makes a world of difference. it makes flying so much more enjoyable. I usually have trouble with in-ear headphones but these are very comfortable and very seldom do they fall out. The battery lasts a long time on a charge. I havn't had an issue with the battery being dead before my travel is over.

Up until now I have only had the Bose over ear noise cancelling headphones. I was apprehensive as to how well these new "in ear" ones would work. But I have been totally impressed with how well the noise cancellation works and the sound quality. Although they don't block out all noise, they work very well and are so much more comfortable than the over ear version.

This product surprised me & I love all things Bose. I waited to buy it as I already own QC15 headphones. In retrospect, I wish I had immediately purchased the QC 20i. Tap a button and these earbuds tune out the world. My Music and calls sound crystal clear. Even when I'm mowing the lawn! The Bose earbuds rest securely and more importantly comfortably. No strain or ear pain at all. Battery life is great. I need to charge my iPhone 5 around the time the QC 20i earbuds need to be charged. Favorite feature is the noise cancel interrupt button. No need to take out the earbuds to chat and hear clearly. When done tap the button to make the world drop away. Worth every dollar spent.

somehow, it will get unplugged very easily because it's not actually 3.5mm but slightly smaller.. and if you are on a car with bad suspensions, you will hear that annoying sound when the car bounces.. battery ok, sound quality fantastic even with noise canceling mode off(at least it's not awful..).. super comfortable. If you can get use to the air pressure, go for it.

I travel extensively for work, and these are hands down the best travel headphones available.I have also had the Bose Q15 but they are not comfortable to where while trying to sleep on a flight. These are small enough to not be a bother while attempting to sleep and do a great job of cutting out all the noise.. I highly recommend them. Worth the price.

I purchased the Bose earbuds as a gift, but was able to spend a little time listening with them. My take away- amazing clarity, very comfortable, and I'm extremely jealous!! I want my own set.

I was initially looking at Bose over the ear for noise cancelling. Best Buy customer service directed me to the Quietcomfort 20i which serves my purposes much better --- lightweight, easy to fit in travel bag, and noise cancelling is fantastic. I never liked earbuds before but the fit is incredibly better than others I have tried. Very satisfied!!

Overall, these headphones are pretty good. The noise cancellation works well, especially for in-ear headphones and the sound quality is good for music and podcasts. Comes with a nice little case. Doesn't need to be charged that often. Useful controls on the cord. I am slightly disappointed with the comfort, but I think I have unusually small ears and they just don't provide an earbud that fits me well, even though they include 3 size options. I wish the noise cancellation "box" was smaller/skinnier because it is a little awkward hanging off your device. Cord could be longer. Super expensive. Overall, I would recommend, but there might be other options to meet your needs for a lot less $$$.

I personally prefer earbuds to on ear and over ear headphones. This is an amazing pair with the legendary Bose sound. The noise cancellation is without a doubt the best and worth the hefty price tag if noise cancellation is a must for you. The ear attachments are very comfortable and stay in place for prolonged periods of use.

Bought these to replace my Bose QC3 in order to have smaller, lighter and more portable headphones for airplane travel and loved that they were also noise cancelling. Used them on my last flight and seemed to be as effective as the full size headphones.

I was skeptical at first but these headphones has grown on me. They fit in my ear comfortably and the sound is good. The NC does a good job of drowning out the outdoors noise. Pros - comfortable in ear fit, button in mic controller allows ambient noise to filter through or enable NC Cons - pricey, music sounds a little low

I bought this as a gift for an anesthesiologist friend who works very long hours and needed the ability to have true quiet time during his downtime. He loves it! The earbuds can be worn in places where normal noise-cancelling headphones would just make you look stupid. The battery/control bar is not clunky at all and it is far enough down than you can tuck it in you pocket with your phone or leave it hanging. The aware mode allows some outside noise in -good for situations where you need to be more aware than being ensconced in your music. The sound quality is about the same as most other earbuds which is fine. Not anything really earthshatteringly different than other earbuds except for the noise-cancelling which is amazing!

Overall, I am extremely happy with the fit and sound quality of the Bose - QuietComfort 20 when the noise cancelling function is activated. They have a nice deep response, and definitely cancel out exterior background noise. However, keep in mind, that the sound quality without the noise cancelling function is pretty poor. If you plan on using these headphone on a regular basis without the noise cancelling function I would recommend finding another product.
