I purchased these because I hate flying and specifically hate flying with screaming babies. They worked perfectly! The sound is amazing and they work almost as well as the over the ear ones but more comfortable if you try to sleep-they are also great for at the gym. All around I feel they are a great product

Bose noise cancellation technology is the best in the industry and the QC20i did not disappoint. The earbuds have the additional noise isolating benefit and is comfortable to wear once you find the right tip. I am deducting a star for the external battery pack you have to carry and for the connecting point between the cable and the pack which could be a potential weak point prong to breakage if not careful. Overall I am satisfied with the performance.

I purchased the Bose QC20 to use with my Android devices during travel. I use them to listen to music, audiobooks and podcasts while in public areas and in airplanes. I have used traditional in-ear and over-the-ear headphones before and find the QC20 simply astonishing. It took me a little while to get used to the muffled down sounds of the surrounding environment (which keeps me grounded and aware of important announcements or of someone trying to get my attention) while the noise cancelling technology simply 'elevates' the sounds from my device (quality, clarity). I highly recommended the QC20 headphones. .They are expensive but you only have to turn them on to hear why.

I work in a high noise environment and was wanting something different than foam earplugs. Bought these with the hope they would allow me to listen to music/talk radio/ball games in that environment. They allow me to hear what I want to hear and cancel out most of the rest. They're comfortable also.

Comfortable, convenient. Got them for travel and they worked just as I hoped. If you are taking a long overseas flight, be certain to start with the battery charged. I used a small back up charger during a 42 hour trip. I played them almost constantly during my flights. They made a long trip great!

This is my first pair of Bose headphones....and they don't disappoint. I travel two weeks out of the month, so I've had my share of passive and active noise canceling headsets. Sound reduction is very good. Comfort level is good...but I doubt they would be great for active use or small ears.

Bought for upcoming plane trip as my old Sony's died. Based on reviews, not much good products in mid-range $$, only really cheap stuff that lasts only a few trips and really doesn't have good sound quality. So after reading SO many reviews that the Bose were so good, I bought thinking I would try and could always return in 14 days policy if wasn't impressed. but..> WOW, was I ever impressed. Listening to movies on iPad at night in bed using them, and we have a white noise maker always on cuz neighbors dogs bark REALLy early, and husband snores loud. When I turned on the Active Listening button, ssshhh... all the noise is gone. Just my movie. Amazing. Can only imagine how well it's going to do on the flight. Still good sound when Active isn't on, just doesn't make the background noise go away.

I first bought a pair for 30 day trial from Bose in summer of 2017. They were great for everyday use at home, walking, and at work. However, for flying, they didn't cut the airplane noise like the over-the-ear Bose. So I turned them in & got the Bose QC 35 wireless ones. I missed the lightweight convenience of the QC 20s so I bought them again at Best Buy. I don't mind the wires and they reduce the background noise from office conversations very well. I enjoy them for longer periods of time more than my QC 35s and mainly use the QC 35s for flying and whenever wireless functionality is useful.

Awesome for a flight or a noisy office. Just flip the switch and it filters out 95% ofl the noise. You can still kinda hear the announcements, but you are in your own little world. If you fly a lot and you want head phones that are easily portable, comfortable, and noise canceling, go for it.

I travel quite a bit and these ear buds are great for noise cancellation on planes, making calls, and listening to music. Much easier to pack than the large over ear model, but there is a slight sound quality sacrifice.

I love these headphones but they are imo a bit over priced at $300! I wish they could be wireless and/or that the charger/battery part wasn't so bulky. It makes them awkward to use. I love the ear buds as I've tried many in-ear type of headphones and these are not only comfortable but I love the soft plastic piece that holds them in place. Bose is amazing for their sound quality of their products and these have not let me down in that regard!

I really didn't expect to get noise canceling out of ear phones but, I was pleasantly surprised. They are very comfortable and have extra ear pieces fit to comfortably fit the size of your ear. It has an excellent sound and I am really enjoying both the convenience and sound quality

Very comfortable and easy to wear. Outstanding sound and the noise canceling is wonderful. I look forward to my next plane trip. I really like the switch that allows some sound.

I very much like these headphones. The noise cancelling works very well. Clearly not as good as over the ear, but surprisingly well for in-ear monitors. The power pack could be a little farther up the cord and the case a little bigger. but other than that, I like them very much.

Have had the QC30 for 6+ years and was very happy with them. Only downfall was they were a bit large to travel with and difficult to sleep with on a plane. Tried many other earbud style notice canceling headsets from Sony, Panasonic, JVC. Nothing came close to the QC 20i. Lightweight, battery life is good and they actually do block out most noise. Most of the time in a plane, I don't even plug in music, I just turn on noise canceling and go to sleep. Silicone tips are very comfortable. You will need to try out all included sizes to figure out which works best for your ear. Easy to swap. Well worth the purchase for people who travel.

We have owned all of the versions of Bose's noise canceling headsets. This is the best version yet. They do an improved job of canceling out airline hum and provide an excellent fit in the ear. There are three size choices for the tips which are inserted into the ear.

I've had several of the over-ear Bose Quite Comfort headsets over the years, but I thought I'd try the in-ear version to lighten my travel load... I'm very impressed - great range, especially bass, and very sufficient noise cancelling capability. Bose wins again...

These are great for traveling light. They are comfortable for long periods of time (we were on a 9 hr flight). Really blocked the noise of the plane. Great choice!

Spouse and I love these earbuds. The clear piece helps to keep them secure in your ears. The only tiny complaint is the fact that the microphone sometimes gets inside your shirt collar and causes static. They are definitely worth the money, though.

Being a proud owner of the QC15's, over-the-ear headphones and loving them, I had to purchase the QC20's. I'd initially tried them at the Bose store, along with the Sport and other models. There was no doubt in my mind, the QC20's out performed all of them. The active noise cancelling was waaaay better than my 15's, unbelievable!!! The sound quality was out of this world, great balance and acoustics. They also are comfortable and stay in your ear without falling out, thanks to the new ear attachment. Hopefully the price doesn't run people off. The love of Bose will keep the loyal customers. Oh yeah, I picked them up from Best Buy because I had received the Sport model for Christmas from my family. I'd exchanged them for the 15's and paid the difference and also bought the 2 year extended warranty. Oh yeah, I'm gonna keep these bad boys!!!
