I would never in a million years recommend any one pay the full retail price for these headphones. Having said that they are pretty great. I was in a desperate situation at work being the only dude in an office full of ladies. I like silence, they do not. So headphones or earbuds of some sort are a must. These fit your ears comfortably, the noise cancelling is fantastic, I have a new iPhone and an old iPod and you can control the volume and play and pause with the switch on the cord rather than touching the actual device. They have a good quality sound with music or podcasts and talk radio. The noise canceling requires battery usage so you have to charge your earbuds which is odd and sometimes I assume I'll forget to do that. But all in all they sound great, do what they're supposed to and feel good in your ears. So a good buy if you can get past the sticker price.

I own several Bose products so I am definately a fan. Their products never disapoint and these earbuds are no diffreent. The sound quality is amazing and they provide a variety of budsto ensure a comfortable fit. I would recommend these earbuds.

I returned the full sized headphones for the earbuds and they work much better. I was having problems with the full sized headphones when sleeping on planes. These earbuds are much better and more comfortable. In addition, they are much smaller and easier to pack. Worth the hassle if the return.

Noise canceling and overall sound a plus. The fact that this takes up very little room in my bag versus my old Bose case or my Parrot's is another plus. I debated on buying these for awhile and once I did I regretted waiting so long!

These in-ear noise canceling headphones work great and are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time - more comfortable than over ear headphones I've used previously.

These headphones are perfect in every way. The sound quality is amazing. They fit comfortably in your ear with three sizes and they also stay in your ear with ease.

These headphones are the best. They are comfortable and they cancel almost all noise. I especially enjoy them for air travel because they cancel all engine noise and with their low profile, you can nap without ear pain.

The noise cancellation and overall quality of these headphones are amazing because it is actually comfortable and it blocks out all the outside noise, although they are decent when it's windy.

Bought these for our teens. This is our second pair. Excellent noise cancellation and the best part is, one does not have to stick it in the ear canal. Excellent Bass and treble, sounds great.

I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift. Based on the reviews, I knew he would like them. What I didn't know was that he would LOVE them! Absolutely no outside noise whatsoever and they are very comfortable.

They are expensive, but if you travel a lot they are worth it. They are very comfortable, really noise cancelling, and compact.

It is a great compact noise cancelling device. The only thing that I observed is that it produces a small amount of white noise during use that I did not hear when I tried the larger QuiteComfort headphone. Overall it has great battery life and comfortability.

These ear buds not only have great sound, but the noise cancellation is amazing considering that these are ear buds. The design is comfortable and can be worn for long periods without discomfort. The noise cancellation is excellent but you still may notice some ambient background noise for the loudest of sounds, The sound quality is great with good bass and a clear spectrum of highs and lows. Again, for ear buds this product provides what I might expect from a full over the ear headphone.

I like these better than the headset type since they are not as hot and if you put your head against the skin of the air plane they still work. Boise sound and the best noise canceling that i have found,

Very nice earbuds. Bought these for a trip on a bus with 30 teenagers. Did not totally block out all of the noise and conversations, but cut a large portion of the background noise out. Case and construction of headset very good fit and finish. Still working off initial charge of headphones even after a weekend trip.

These headphones are a bit pricey, but are amazing for traveling. They are quite comfortable and do a great job canceling out the noise of the plane.

I consider these one of the best noise reduction headphones. So much so that this is the third one I've bought. They are great for sleeping sideway and blocking snoring sounds. The problem is that the new phone don't have the 3.5mm jack. I have a Samsung S21 ultra. I bought two Samsung type-C aux adapters and they didn't work. I bought two other ones and they didn't work. Apparently greedy Samsung didn't make S21 drivers for these. They just want to push wireless headphones sales just like greedy Apple. I don't get it why Bose wouldn't make these with a type C connector instead of the 3.5mm. Alas, they are not cheap. $250 just add much as most Bluetooth headsets.

Overall the ear buds have good sound. The noise canceling (NC) function works very well in low noise environments, canceling out almost all continuous noise such as a fan. I find the canceling function insufficient for high noise levels with too much external noise getting by. I bought them for mowing on a tractor and thought they would cancel more of the continuous noise, I still have to listen to my music at higher volume that I feel is safe to protect my hearing. They are better than any other ear buds I have tried without NC but not yet perfect for my needs. In addition, the wind whistles around the ear buds no matter which pair I use. Different from some reviewers I found no issue with the controls and battery pack at the jack end of the wire. I just tuck mine into my phone case and it works fine for me. I wear glasses so over ear press against the frames and make my ears and head sore so ear buds are my best option. I have tried many and these are the best so far, so until someone else improves on the NC technology for ear buds, these are still your best bet.

I purchased these instead of the QC15 headset. Portability was better. If battery dies you can still hear unlike the QC15. Noise cancellation is superb for being so small. Someone mentioned these would be better to sleep because you can tilt your head and rest it unlike the over ear kind. I haven't tried that yet. Too busy watching TV and movies onboard. A bit pricey but Bose performance usually is. If you don't want to lug the big over the ear type these are great. Probably better.
