It works very well for flights. Most of the lower frequency noise from the airplane is cut out. You can still hear some higher frequency random noise from passengers but it is greatly reduced. There is an electronics box which contains the rechargeable battery at the end of the headphone wire. Its audio input wire is only 2.5 inches long so it may be a problem if you have some special use cases. In general it worked well for my needs and they do not take up a lot of room when they need to be stowed.

Bought these at Christmas. Sound is incredible but what I expected from Boise. Was just surprised it could come from ear plug sized product. Have not tried yet on a trip to see how they do when in flight with the noise cancelling.

These earphones are awesome, and I want to rant and rave about them over and over but in this instance the product speaks for itself. Whether I'm on a call on the road, listening to music at home, or flying in a plane for vacation they literally cancel out any outside disturbances. Depending on the song from time to time you will be able to hear outside noise but that rarely happens. They are worth every penny and fit comfortably in my ears, where often times I hate ear buds because they hurt or they fit awkwardly.

These headphones are amazing, I use them for mowing and they are phenomenal at canceling out the noise. You wouldn't think so with how small they are, but boy do they perform!

This noise cancelling headphones make any noisy environment better. I bought it to using during flights exclusively but found myself using it for work a lot, when I need to focus and even for conference calls. Super recommended!

These in ear noise canceling headsets are fantastic. I was replacing an old over the ear set (Sony) and the difference in noise cancellation is amazing. I wasn't sure earbuds could do the same job but I was pleasantly surprised.

We bought these headphones to help reduce the noise on an airplane. It didn't reduce it - they totally stopped the noise. Great sound quality too when listening to music.

As a motorcycle rider sound and comfort is everything. The headphones themselves do not blare out loud or anything nice clean sound all throughout with the usual background noise. Once you hit the noise cancelling system it takes you to a whole new place removes all sound but voices when music is off so bike noise cancelled for one, not only that but once the music plays it's all you the road and music with nothing else. Pure cleanliness of sound with a nice blast of bass on the end... do recommend

Love it - the best in noise cancelling and is easy to use. Comfortable and also looks nice, not bulky. It's worth the splurge!

I bought these ear phones to compliment my Beats wireless noise cancelling headphones. I like them better as they do not make your outer ears sweat and squeeze on your ears. The sound quality is awesome. The noise cancelling feature works great. I don't hear my fellow commuters snoring, chewing and popping their mouth gum, or general discussions "...you go girl 'high five.'" There's more base than I was anticipating from Bose. Normally, Bose doesn't emphasize base too much. But, it works good here.

These are easy to use and comfortable as well. Does the trick.

I am not a fan of the wired connection but didn’t want to spend the extra money on wireless. It wasn’t a big deal because I use these primarily for travel. The sound quality and noise cancellation is excellent. They fit my ears perfectly and come with three sizes for all ear types. The microphone for phone calls is no better than any other wired headphones that cost much less money. I would definitely recommend for travel, especially on a plane. Oh yeah, I wish the case was a hair bigger too, so the wires weren’t so bent when putting them in the case. I worry about long term but the rubber seems much better than say a phone charger cable so this may never be an issue.

These earphones are awesome! I have pondered buying the over the ear style for years, but just knew I would regret the size and discomfort level. These do an amazing job of filtering sound! From crying babies on airplanes to noisy city hotels, they have easily paid for themselves already! Sleeping in them is possible, though not my preference. They do not seem to build up heat and are comfortable to wear for hours on end. What’s not to love?!

I bought these to take on vacations where I am in the room with people who snore. They work amazing!

I have historically traveled extensively and these headphones are absolutely the best for portability and quality. Great noise reduction for plane travel. Although I have not traveled since February 2020 I now use the headphones at home as I fall asleep in my chair, it is not like trying to sleep with normal headphones. Strongly recommend for all situations.

These buds cut out most of the noise around me. I work in a cube farm and they block the annoying noises. I can still hear some talking but it is very quiet and usually the loudest person in the office.
