the sound is good, noise cancelling in a comfortable earbud was what I was after. The battery is poorly placed & awkward, but I will use these often & would recommend..

Not only the best fitting, most comfortable in-ear buds I've ever owned, but great sound quality and superb noise-cancelling. I've owned two other Bose over the ear head-sets, and the noise-cancelling on these earbuds is every bit as good.

Sound and noise cancellation is great. Battery life and comfort sufficient for 14 hour flights!

Overall pretty happy with these earbuds. Love the noise cancelling when I'm flying especially. They fit my ears well. Don't care for the angle RC connector, prefer the straight one. The silicone rubber outer jacket on the cables is kind of grabby and so catches easily on clothes, etc. One BIGGEST complaint - the price! They are at least $100 overpriced. I only bought them because someone gave me an on-line gift card.

Bought these as a gift for my wife and she loves them! The ANC and Bose quality were the primary reasons for purchase, and the ANC, sound quality, and fit are excellent.

I travel a lot. I bought this to replace my over the ear QC15 so I can have move compact noise cancelling headphones in the airplane. The noise cancelling is great. It is small, but - although not as great as QC15, but it is decent - it generates enough bass.

purchased these headphones for a trip since i was due for a new pair and this one was lighter and comfortable on the plane and easier to transport than my old over the ear headphones, still kept the noise out and didn't hear any crying babies.

Easy to pack/carry, easy to use. Great sound and great noise cancelling. Bought these particularly for flying. These really eliminate the constant noise from the engines, loud passengers, babies, etc. Just makes the time stuck on a plane a little easier.

I purchased the headphones for a recent vacation that involved a lot of travel by plane. The noise canceling was amazing and they were very comfortable to wear. The only thing that I was disappointed about is that the headphones are not to be used with airplane media due to a risk of overheating. I might have thought twice about purchasing them if I had known they could not be used to listen to media on the plane.

I've got Shure, Ultimate Ears and half a dozen other brands. These Bose are the best fitting pair of ear buds I've worn. The sound is better than average, but not as good as some of the other buds of tried. However the comfort and great fit are worth the tradeoff.

Great headphones, ear buds that have sound cancelling. I use them at the gym with a Bluetooth adapter connected to them so the wire stays under my shirt, directly into the pouch provided and into my pocket. I've used them in a packed van, and airplane. Been looking to buy a set of noise cancelling headphones for a while. Then Bose put them on sale, so I went ahead and got the earbuds. These are typical awesome Bose sound quality (like my other pair), then you switch on the nose cancelling feature and it goes to a whole new level. What was neat is I had the NC feature on while out for a walk, after I came back into the house I turned them off. I was shocked that the dehumidifier was running 4' away from me, these ear buds totally removed all associated noise - was really impressed. Used them a few times since, not sure about battery life yet, but so far these are totally worth the $ (wish I would have bought them sooner).

These are excellent at cancelling noise. Perfect for airplanes. I actually bought to wear while riding my Ducati and they are super comfortable even inside my helmet. Love riding with tunes!!

The product reduces noise very well and the sound quality when used with an ipod is excellent. Works well when exercising. There can be very slight discomfort of the ear when wearing for a long time, but not too unexpected for having something in the ear.

I love the sound reduction is amazing! I can't hear anyone or anything perfect for gym!

Theses are good for decreasing background noise on airline flights and provide excellent sound when used with music on a phone. You can sleep with them on; comfort is OK. The mini-clip is nice to decrease some tangling of the wires. These are certainly more comfortable for sleeping than large over the ear earphone models.

Have a pair of Bose Sport for the pool and wanted something for travel and indoor environments. Long charge life easy to use and really nice to have quiet while relaxing. Not a sound guru but feel that there is excellent sound quality for earbuds.

I wasn't sure how these noise cancelling headphones would compare to my old over ear Bose headphones. But, they are terrific and very comfortable. I'm definitely glad I switched. They're also much easier to take on trips with their smaller size.
