I bought these for plane trips and took my first trip the other day. Plane took off and I could barely hear anything from my laptop while watching a movie in my iPhone headphones with the volume all the way up. I put on my new QC20's and turned the noise cancellation on before starting any audio and it was like I was in my office. Watched a movie under 50% of the volume and had no problems heating every word and sound effect. Pricey of course but most great things are.

These are my favorite headphones. Sound good, charge lasts a long time. NC works great.

I was looking for a set of high quality multipurpose noise cancelling headphones that will work for both air travel (no more crying babies) and conference calls. This is just what I needed. Not only do they help me in these circumstances, but they also provide noise relief when a bad headache comes on. Bonus! They are pricey, but if I could give them 6 stars, I would.

Every day use and very disappointed about the fact they will not work with the iPhone 11 while using the phone no problem using the adapter while using for music or videos with these new iPhones. I love these things, however they don't last with my use. I've been using these since 2013 when I lost most of my hearing. Buy buy the warranty to cover yourself if you're like me. I don't know if the technology is safe but they are great for reducing the noise around me, I cut the grass and even use while using my chain saw.

I bought these when I lost my Apple headphones. I have been very impressed with these, the headphones are comfortable and block out a lot of background noise when I am talking on the phone.

After buying QC30 I realized that for travel, in flight entertainment, it won't work. Period. I cant see bluetooth enabled seats yet. I went and got this pair before Bose phases them out, for $199 (lowest ever). My last pair is still good after several international flights. It really works in plane and if battery dies, it can still work without the noise cancelling part. Wires are not an issue. as there is little chance to lose.

I’ve needed a headset for travel on planes and cars. Other non-Bose headsets canNOT compare to Bose. I like this particular type Instead of the over the ear to save on space in my purse and backpack while traveling. I purchased an adapter to be able to use it with my phone, and I can easily use it on the seat back entertainment screens on planes.

These are much better then my on ear QC3s. Love the option to wear the unpowered. Sound quality suffers but when the battery is dead it nice to still listen to music. The various sizes of ear plugs allowed me to fit them perfectly. I needed the mediums. The aware mode is also a nice feature. My last couple of plane rides very nice. These phones toned down the crying baby two seats behind me. Made it tolerable. Overall, love them.

My only reason for taking off a star is for the annoying little box near the jack. Otherwise, they block out all the noise and sound fantastic. Great product. Very comfortable.

so I haven't slept well in years but especially this last year. My upstairs neighbor is an elephant. I pop in one side and listen to rain sounds while I sleep on my side and my life has changed. I have never slept better. Worth it. The noise cancelling is a game changer

If you are going to be flying anytime soon, get a pair of these Bose earbuds. You won't regret it. They block out almost all ambient noise, leaving you with nothing but music.
