Great sound. Not for heavy bass; very comfortable.

More than I expect, excellent size, really comfortable

I bought these for use during long plane journeys. They really do work exceptionally well, cutting out plane noise and providing crystal clear sound. These replaced a pair of over-the-ear Bose noise cancelling headphones that I have had for over 10 years. They work just as well, if not better and are more portable.

Not as hot as over the ear. Love sound and comfort.

Used these at a recent San Jose Sharks Playoff Game. They were great, since they really pump up the music during Playoffs. Fantastic for listening music on recent plane trip. Drowned out all the other noise. Love the small carrying case that comes with it. Great for travel.

I purchased these for flying and have no buyers remorse. I don’t know why I lived without noise canceling earbuds for so long. You can wear them even when you’re not plugged in to anything and with the noise canceling on all the background noises are drained out. Worth every penny!

While I had the QC15 over the ear noise cancelling headphones, I like the fact that you can use these without battery power, that it has a convenient volume control, and allows you to answer your phone. It also comes in a small package for easy packing on long-haul flights, saving room for other carry-on items.

What can I say - they're Bose, they're in-ear so they seal super well (includes different size tips), sounds great, and the bypass mode makes it very easy to pick out voices or conversations without having to pull them out each time someone wants to bother me!

Great sound for Bose, as usual, only concern/complaint is the part of the cord that plugs into the port is very short because of the placement of the noise reducer. That part of the cord is easily bent so i am concerned about wear and tear.

I was looking for headphones for frequent plane trips that I take. The noise of the engines wouldn't allow me to sleep. My Bose QC20 headphones totally fit the bill. I can now fly and not have to hear the annoying engines. Who knows? I may actually catch some zzz's on my next quiet trip.

Was concerned when purchasing they would not be anywhere near worth what I paid, so far I am pleasantly surprised

I bought these earphones after reading many reviews and before taking a long round trip flight trip to the far east - over 40 hours of flight time. They did block out most noise - maybe 90-95%, but not 100%. I could still hear plane engines and baby cries in the background. I was also concerned about mentions of earphones aggravating or causing tinitus - but I did not experience aggravation of the mild tinitus I already had before using these earphones.

I am hard of hearing and I am able to hear everything with no problems with this. Best noise canceling out there.

Nice product just one complaint not filtering all sounds. Only able to filter continuous sound but intermediate sounds are not getting cached. But it is good if you are frequent traveler. I have used it on long haul flight from LAX to JFK and from JKF to Mumbai it works all the time and even when you are charging engine sound (Deliberately writing engine sound as i can here other sounds in flight) cancellation works. Good product for the money you pay.

I bought these to replace my old over ear noise canceling headphones that I used for flights. The quality of the noise canceling is amazing! The change from over ear to in ear was a bit of a shock. I lost all of the drone of the airplane, but if someone immediately around me was having a louder conversation, I could hear the voices through the headphones. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase, I still just feel slightly taken at the $250 mark.

I find it hard parlaying $250 for earbuds. But, I was headed overseas for work and didn't want to drag along the bulky headphones so I got these. And fell in love. I carry them everywhere now. When I'm waiting somewhere, I use them to shut out the world and listen to audible. They're worth it.

Did not think these would be as good as the headphone I've use in the past. The earbuds worked just as well!!

These are awesome are blocking out the ambient noises. The sound quality is Bose quality and holds to that reputation. On two complaints would be that the battery section that hangs with the cord is a bit clunky to deal with when taking phone in and out of pockets. Also, this part creates weight allowing the connection to your phone to come loose. Otherwise awesome earbuds.

Had a previous pair and left them on an airplane!..they’re so good whoever found them kept them.

The dehumidifier, air handler, drier, and TV were on, the furthest 15’ away. Slid the switch to “on”, and there was relative quiet. Somethings were “out” there, however, they were of little import. Buy. Buy. Buy. You probably Weill need the plug to lightning adapter.
