I personally prefer earbuds to on ear and over ear headphones. This is an amazing pair with the legendary Bose sound. The noise cancellation is without a doubt the best and worth the hefty price tag if noise cancellation is a must for you. The ear attachments are very comfortable and stay in place for prolonged periods of use.

Bought these to replace my Bose QC3 in order to have smaller, lighter and more portable headphones for airplane travel and loved that they were also noise cancelling. Used them on my last flight and seemed to be as effective as the full size headphones.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the fit and sound quality of the Bose - QuietComfort 20 when the noise cancelling function is activated. They have a nice deep response, and definitely cancel out exterior background noise. However, keep in mind, that the sound quality without the noise cancelling function is pretty poor. If you plan on using these headphone on a regular basis without the noise cancelling function I would recommend finding another product.

I purchased the Bose QC20 to use with my Android devices during travel. I use them to listen to music, audiobooks and podcasts while in public areas and in airplanes. I have used traditional in-ear and over-the-ear headphones before and find the QC20 simply astonishing. It took me a little while to get used to the muffled down sounds of the surrounding environment (which keeps me grounded and aware of important announcements or of someone trying to get my attention) while the noise cancelling technology simply 'elevates' the sounds from my device (quality, clarity). I highly recommended the QC20 headphones. .They are expensive but you only have to turn them on to hear why.

This is my first pair of Bose headphones....and they don't disappoint. I travel two weeks out of the month, so I've had my share of passive and active noise canceling headsets. Sound reduction is very good. Comfort level is good...but I doubt they would be great for active use or small ears.

I first bought a pair for 30 day trial from Bose in summer of 2017. They were great for everyday use at home, walking, and at work. However, for flying, they didn't cut the airplane noise like the over-the-ear Bose. So I turned them in & got the Bose QC 35 wireless ones. I missed the lightweight convenience of the QC 20s so I bought them again at Best Buy. I don't mind the wires and they reduce the background noise from office conversations very well. I enjoy them for longer periods of time more than my QC 35s and mainly use the QC 35s for flying and whenever wireless functionality is useful.

I've had several of the over-ear Bose Quite Comfort headsets over the years, but I thought I'd try the in-ear version to lighten my travel load... I'm very impressed - great range, especially bass, and very sufficient noise cancelling capability. Bose wins again...

Spouse and I love these earbuds. The clear piece helps to keep them secure in your ears. The only tiny complaint is the fact that the microphone sometimes gets inside your shirt collar and causes static. They are definitely worth the money, though.

Being a proud owner of the QC15's, over-the-ear headphones and loving them, I had to purchase the QC20's. I'd initially tried them at the Bose store, along with the Sport and other models. There was no doubt in my mind, the QC20's out performed all of them. The active noise cancelling was waaaay better than my 15's, unbelievable!!! The sound quality was out of this world, great balance and acoustics. They also are comfortable and stay in your ear without falling out, thanks to the new ear attachment. Hopefully the price doesn't run people off. The love of Bose will keep the loyal customers. Oh yeah, I picked them up from Best Buy because I had received the Sport model for Christmas from my family. I'd exchanged them for the 15's and paid the difference and also bought the 2 year extended warranty. Oh yeah, I'm gonna keep these bad boys!!!

These in-ear noise canceling headphones work great and are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time - more comfortable than over ear headphones I've used previously.

These headphones are perfect in every way. The sound quality is amazing. They fit comfortably in your ear with three sizes and they also stay in your ear with ease.

The noise cancellation and overall quality of these headphones are amazing because it is actually comfortable and it blocks out all the outside noise, although they are decent when it's windy.

Bought these for our teens. This is our second pair. Excellent noise cancellation and the best part is, one does not have to stick it in the ear canal. Excellent Bass and treble, sounds great.

They are expensive, but if you travel a lot they are worth it. They are very comfortable, really noise cancelling, and compact.

These ear buds not only have great sound, but the noise cancellation is amazing considering that these are ear buds. The design is comfortable and can be worn for long periods without discomfort. The noise cancellation is excellent but you still may notice some ambient background noise for the loudest of sounds, The sound quality is great with good bass and a clear spectrum of highs and lows. Again, for ear buds this product provides what I might expect from a full over the ear headphone.

These headphones are a bit pricey, but are amazing for traveling. They are quite comfortable and do a great job canceling out the noise of the plane.

Overall the ear buds have good sound. The noise canceling (NC) function works very well in low noise environments, canceling out almost all continuous noise such as a fan. I find the canceling function insufficient for high noise levels with too much external noise getting by. I bought them for mowing on a tractor and thought they would cancel more of the continuous noise, I still have to listen to my music at higher volume that I feel is safe to protect my hearing. They are better than any other ear buds I have tried without NC but not yet perfect for my needs. In addition, the wind whistles around the ear buds no matter which pair I use. Different from some reviewers I found no issue with the controls and battery pack at the jack end of the wire. I just tuck mine into my phone case and it works fine for me. I wear glasses so over ear press against the frames and make my ears and head sore so ear buds are my best option. I have tried many and these are the best so far, so until someone else improves on the NC technology for ear buds, these are still your best bet.

I consider these one of the best noise reduction headphones. So much so that this is the third one I've bought. They are great for sleeping sideway and blocking snoring sounds. The problem is that the new phone don't have the 3.5mm jack. I have a Samsung S21 ultra. I bought two Samsung type-C aux adapters and they didn't work. I bought two other ones and they didn't work. Apparently greedy Samsung didn't make S21 drivers for these. They just want to push wireless headphones sales just like greedy Apple. I don't get it why Bose wouldn't make these with a type C connector instead of the 3.5mm. Alas, they are not cheap. $250 just add much as most Bluetooth headsets.

These headphones are compact for easy storage and retrieval. The noise canceling feature took some getting use too as an in ear bud versus over ear headphone. However being able to relax in quietness while traveling on plane rides is priceless. Sound quality for music and videos are very good too.
