    Excellent Headphones, Meet My Needs

I wanted noise cancelling headphones, so limited my search to those with such capability. 2nd "must have" was they be comfortable for extended wear (4-6 hrs.). Audio fidelity, while important, was not deemed as significant as these phones were being purchased to primarily: 1) listen to compressed MP3 files and 2) participate in extended global phone & WebEx conferences calls. All the phones trialed at Best Buy had great noise cancelling performance. All the phones trialed had capability for phone conversations, volume control, etc. Only the Bose Quite Comfort 25's were as comfortable after 15 minutes wearing as the moment they were first put on. I found myself constantly adjusting & tweaking the fit of all the other headphones every 2 - 3 minutes trying to improve fit & comfort. Headphone comfort is undoubtedly unique to each individuals physiology, but for me the Bose far and away surpassed the others. I have had the Bose headphones now for a couple of months now and are very pleased with them -- Delighted actually.

I have always wanted a set of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones but never thought I could justify the price. When my cheaper set I'd owned for a few years got broken on a flight to Europe, I decided to give Bose a try. The difference was unbelievable, and I knew I had to have a set. BestBuy's price was competitive , so I purchased mine and have never regretted the decision. I will never own anything but a Bose, and I'll not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Let me start this off by saying I am going to return these.... First off, these feel great, sound great. I used them on a trip to Cancun and was BLOWN away by the noise cancellation, so was my wife! The sound quailty was great, and I personally liked that they used a AAA battery instead of a built in battery. I also liked the carrying case and cables that were provided. Very, very nice product all around. Also 2 different models that the in-line buttons works with Android and Apple devices. What I did not like after using them were the wire. It got tangled in the airplane seat belt when I had to let someone out to the restroom many times and the volume did not get as loud as i would have liked. I was constantly pushing the up button to get more volume, to no avail. After reading more review, I ended up buying the Beats Studio Wireless headphones. It was close but the wireless portion was worth more to me than the noise cancellation, since I am not a frequent flyer. If you don't mind the lower volume and the required cable, get these. Hands down awesome!

Crisp sound combined with amazing noise cancellation make for a killer pair of headphones. They are lightweight and feel great even after hours of use. Battery life is about 30-35 hours or so. I would recommend buying a AAA lithium battery as you'll triple the battery life. Sound quality is superb and you'll notice crisper sounds in your music as you play. Some songs sound completely different as they sound so much better than from a low quality pair of headphones or a speaker.

The Bose QuietComfort 25 Noise cancelling headphones are the best in their product classification. These impressive folding headphones provide 35 hours with the use of one triple A battery. It will continue to play for a while even after the battery runs low. The sound is clear and crisp and provides excellent noise cancelling. I use these headphones with my iPod and iPad. The detachable cord connector is a tad loose, but causes no issues. These headphones are exactly what I was looking for because they do the job by closing fitting to my head. However, they are not too snug. The material surrounding the cushions softly envelope around my ears. The headphones are housed in a cool case that fits nice nicely when folded. There is even a slot for an extra battery. If you want to cancel out noise while listening to music, it simply does not get better than the Bose QuietComfort 25.

After the last noise canceling headset died, I spent a lot of time looking for a decent replacement. What I like about the Bose is that it's a comfortable, over-the-ear, and quiet even without the active canceling. I feel I could wear these for hours without any issues. Canceling is easy to use and doesn't run out of battery quickly. The carrying case and little extras are a nice touch.

Once again, Bose hits a home run. I had purchased a set of Bose SoundTrue in-ear headphones and was happy with them untill I had a problem with my ears not related to the buds themselves. My doctor recommended over-the-ear headphones, so I looked and tested just about every one out there. In the end, the Bose QC 25 headphones were the best. They give the best sound quality I've ever heard in a headphone set-up and the noise-cancelling feature makes it a dream to use on the bus, on planes or the subway. The perfest ite. I especially like the fact that they play up treble and midrange instead of heavily accentuating the bass, which most of the other headsets do. To me in terms of music, bass is just background beat, not the heart of the melody, which is where treble and midrange come in. I couldn't be happier.

At first I was skeptical that you can really cut out background noise while still having great sound. Well, BOSE has done it! I am now a believer. I am a software engineer and spend most of my day at work writing code. This requires concentration and minimal distractions. However, I share an office area with 3 other engineers - therefore phone calls and conversations are happening all the time. With these, I become oblivious to my surroundings and can truly concentrate on code. With a good playlist going on, I cannot hear phones ring, PA announcements, or general conversation. These work amazingly well. If you turn off the noise cancel feature, they fall back to really good earphones - but you will hear people talk and phones ringing. Also, the storage case is nice along with excellent quality and craftsmanship by BOSE. The cord connects on both ends (headset and device), so accidentally yanking on the cord just disconnects, not risking damage to the headset itself. They are pricey, but to me they are 100% worth it!

I bought these in preparation for a 3 hour plane ride. I was able to try a display model at the store, and even without music, I knew these were what I was looking for. All I had to do was turn the noise canceling on, and the whole store went quiet, and this was the week before Christmas when everyone else was blaring radios and TVs and testing all sorts of stuff getting ready for the holidays. I already knew BOSE in top quality sound, but the noise canceling is just awesome. No hissing, or anything, like other brands I've tried, just pure silence and solid sound. The carrying case has a built in holder for a backup AAA battery as well. I've been using these for 3 weeks and I'm still on the first battery.

A simple and elegant solution to a specific use!

The situation is simple; you're surrounded by noise. This could be the roar of a jet's engine, the rumble of the car you're riding in, or a living room with a loud air conditioner. All you want to do is listen to something without competing with the surrounding noise. Sometimes, you just want the quiet. These headphone do this job very well. The sound is good enough for most, although some audiophiles and purists will insist that they could be better. In truth, they do a remarkable job for the price point, and they are light enough that you could use them for hours on end without feeling the traditional headphone headache! If you use a streaming device, this will plug into the remote for private listening. That means you can watch your movie without waking up the whole household, and not hear the noise of the air conditioning ruining the dialog that's whispered. If you own a cell phone (and who doesn't today), this integrates via the TRRS connection, or via the BT for wireless ease. I use these when I edit video, because I am able to hear what I'm doing without disturbing others, and the surrounding environment doesn't disturb me. So, in a nutshell: 1. Light and Comfortable 2. Extremely good noise cancellation 3. Reasonable sound fidelity 4. Compatible with my pc, phone, streaming box, and audio equipment.

The noise cancellation works great for work to block out distractions and the headphones sound great and are quite comfortable. The only con is that it requires a single AAA battery to power the noise reduction. Using a rechargeable battery I can make it about a week without having to charge them up again. The headphones do work without having the battery, but the power also amplifies the sound so you will have to increase your listening volume quite a bit in order to get them to work without power.

I read reviews online and even tested these in store before purchasing. I love them! I work odd hours and have very inconsiderate neighbors who moved in to rentals on both sides of me. I would come home at 1-3 am from work and they would be blaring music. I didn't sleep for nearly 2 weels, sucked it up and bought these. I slept soundly for the last few weeks I was there before moving. These were comfy to sleep in both with or without the noise cancellation active. They also were perfect for flying to see my guy before he deployed. Now that he'should overseas with a 14 hour time change I can Skype with him any time and keep others fromantic eavesdropping on his side of the conversation. I can also watch movies or videos late at night without disturbing the rest of my house. I love them! They do not get ear bleeding loud so if you're wanting to blare music from these, go with something else. These are perfectly loud for me and I don't even use them on full volume. However if you are someone who wears headphones and people 10 feet away can hear it, they aren't for you. Wish I would've bought these sooner, I lost a lot of sleep to loud music, barking dogs and bumping bass. Now that I moved, I still find plenty of uses for these, even rare catnaps mid day.

I had previously purchased some slightly less expensive headphones that claimed to be noise cancelling and I now realize I paid about $100.00 too much for those. The Bose headphones do a great job of blocking out engine noise when on a plane, which is my main use for them. When I had an upcoming 9 hour flight, I bit the bullet and upgraded to these and could not be happier. I was completely comfortable wearing these for the duration.

I wanted noise canceling headphones for a plane trip I was taking and after reading the reviews I opted for the Bose QuietComfort 25. These headphones are really comfortable and the noise canceling works great. On the flight I was told that there was a baby crying a few rows behind me, but I didn't hear a peep as I was watching a movie with these headphones. Highly recommend.

Bought these because I've been traveling a bit more by plane, and that is where these shine the most, of course! the noise cancelling is superb. I also use these daily at work, because I work in a computer lab, and the constant hum of the air conditioning system is annoying. Once again these do not disappoint! Nice case, which holds backup AAA battery, and headphone adapter for plane or computer use!

Living in Hawaii means that any sort of travel will involve flying in an aircraft for several hours. Aircraft cabins are quieter now but back 10-15 years ago, the constant noise of the jet engines were quite bothersome. I thus decided that we needed noise cancellling headphones and I picked up an inexpensive pair for the two of us. In the years following they broke and I got replacements but always thought that spending several hundred dollars was a luxury not needed. This past year when my wife's current pair started malfunctioning, we dropped in to Best Buy to audition a pair of the Bose QC25's. She seemed to like them and so I got them for her for Christmas. She used them recently and is very happy with them. I also tried them on and I can see why others rave about them. They ARE QUIET! I am thinking that I am going to have to break down and buy myself a pair too.

These are very efficient headphones which are comparable to the pro model beat Dr headphones that I have used for the past couple of years. They are actually more comfortable as the are less heavy on the ears. I listen to jazz and European 16th to 18th century music and they have an excellent bass response.

I have always heard great things about Bose Noise Cancelling® Headphones but was always hesitant to buy them. A little bit about the headphones. They are foldable so they lay flat in a relatively small container making them great for travel. The wired cord detaches for easy storage and also has an airplane adapter as well as a AAA battery holder (battery included). The sound quality with the headphones off is definitely sub par so I would not recommend these for use with a dead battery or having them off. That being said, even without sound the noise cancellation is very noticeable when the switch on the side of th headphones is turned on. Deep sounds are completely blocked out but higher pitch sounds still come through although they are muted to some extent. With music playing I was unable to hear anything even a TV with surround sound set to a comfortable level in the room and I could not hear it at all. I definitely recommend these for someone who needs some peace and quiet in a noisy atmosphere!

Great set of headphones, very pleased with my purchase. I own 6 different types of Bose products, from headphones to surround sound to vehicle speakers. Whenever I hear sound from anything other than Bose, I feel there is something lacking. Bose products reproduce sounds as you should expect. With these noise cancelling headphones, you can crank up the volume, close your eyes, and truly hear sounds you won't pick up in any other comparatively priced product. Have been and always will be a Bose fan. As for the headphones themselves ... very comfortable to wear. Long-lasting life to the batteries, and a great carrying case to keep the headphones safe and easy to transport. I find myself looking for an excuse to wear them because the comfort and sound are second to none.
