I was looking for something to reduce the noise while I am at my computer listening to trainings while my baby is around the house singing out loud and all I need is to be concentrated. This headphone works great. I also wear the this while I am mowing my yard and now the sound of the mower does not bother me at all. they are pricy but worth it

Can wear around for long time without discomfort, They can get hot on your ears outside on a hot day. Sound quality is great as expected. Only drawback is the Cord, Not blue tooth, Gets caught up sometimes, And it takes a AAA Battery so keep some around for the best sound quality. Good Buy

I have had Bose headphones for around 4 years now. I have moved from one model to another. They are always the best. I wear my headphones for around 8-9 hours a day. So before any consideration can be given to their sound quality, or noise cancelling ability, they have to be comfortable for 9 hours of use. These fit that bill and then some. I have rather large ears and cant stand for anything thing to touch any part of them for more and a few minutes. These completely cover my ears, yet do not even touch them. Almost all other headphones I have tried rub my ears or otherwise touch them. Then you have the sound quality. Its very good. I wont say its the best I have ever owned because I listen to talk radio, and they are more than enough for that. The noise cancellation though is the best I have ever had. My co-workers are always yelling at me when I have them on because it blocks out most all noise when you are listening to something. I would and have purchased them again.

These are well fitting, comfortable headphones with quality reproduced sound and, when needed, silence.

I use these on all of my trips and they work great. Fit very comfortably over my ears (I have large ears) and they don't make my ears hurt. Really blocks out all of the background noise and you don't have to turn the volume up very high. They work great with Android devices too!

These headphones are incredible. The sound quality and noise cancelling features are unbelievable. I can sit on a plane right near the engines and hear the most subtle nuances of the recording as well as the full audio spectrum from highs to lows. I can't recommend them highly enough. I wish I had made the purchase much sooner.

These headphones are a life saver when flying. It instantly blocked the noise of the engines and all of the surrounding passengers. Music quality was very good, but after 9 hours of airports and flying in coach I felt very relaxed. Wish I had bought them years ago.

These are indeed outstanding noise cancelling headphones. On planes, trains, and my favorite so far: Overly LOUD hipster coffee shops, these really cancel out all but what I'm listening to through the headset. I will not go into detail on the "sound" quality, but will say the sound is good...however I knew the whole point was the noise-cancelling and that alone gets this FIVE STARS. Well done BOSE.

After waiting and waiting, reading review after review, I finally purchased these Bose noise-cancelling headphones. The first thing I noticed upon wearing these for the first time was how comfortable they were on my head. I also like how compact they are when put away. And, the detachable cord is a great feature that has saved me from tearing it off when I forget that I'm wearing headphones. The noise-cancelling effect is great! I barely hear the vacuum cleaner or noisy window air conditioner. Oh, and for anyone who says that because they can hear people talking with these on that the noise-cancelling feature doesn't "work" are very mistaken. First, "noise" means random, unorganized sound, while "speaking" is precisely the opposite: organized sounds. So, yes, you can sort of hear people talking but it's hardly a case for not loving these. Verdict: Buy them.

We researched headphones for several months & these were the best ones for the price. The music quality is just amazing. Yet, there are times when I just put them on & read a book in total silence. They are my oasis from the noisy world!

These noise cancelling headphones are hands down FANTASTIC! I work in areas that have huge air conditioners and fans going at all times requiring NOISE CANCELLING headphones in order to hear directives for repairs via cell phone. When not on the phone, I am able to listen to my Sirius XM Radio without distractions. BOSE does it once again....

The Bose QC25 noise-cancelling headphones are amazing. The traditional crystal-clear Bose quality sound came through brilliantly for me during a recent trip. I no longer have to deal with chatty fellow passengers, the roar of jet engines, or noisy neighbors in hotels! They also come in handy in daily life, as well. Definitely a must buy!

I was looking for an around the ear head set because I wear hearing aids. I wanted excellent quality sound. I got exactly what I wanted. The noise cancelling was a nice to have, initially, but now I wouldn't be with out the function. Now my wife wants to buy a set.

I was a bit skeptical, not being a fan of Bose products, however, the headphones are delightfully satisfying. Full vibrant range with satisfyingly smooth transitions from the upper range down to the lower/mid bass range. I found them pleasing with all manner of music, be it classical, jazz or contemporary rock/easy listening. None of the harshness and lack of range I associate with their other "open air" products. I'm a highly critical listener and I have owned and do own a wide range of more esoteric speakers including, but not limited to Vandersteen, Martin Logan, DCM (Time Windows), Polk SDA and Sennhesier (HD600); and find these comparable in the intricacies and accuracy of the audio being reproduced with them. At this price level, I can find no equal. I recommend listening to them prior to making any final decisions on your headphone audio equipment. You won't be disappointed.

Purchased these headphones primarily for travel with little or no noise. I have come to use these headphones with my phone in noisy work areas when trying to talk to tech-support or customer service. The only feature on my wish list for this product would have been a audible alert to let you know the battery is running low.

Excellent product. Really removes the engine noise when flying. Along with the crying babies and other unwanted noises. Be sure you get the noise cancelling head phones or you are wasting your money.
