This is my second pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones. I gave my old pair (5 years old) to my son. I used them so much I had to replace the ear pads, which is really easy to do BTW. I tried on the other popular headphones but they were not as comfortable and did not seal out ambient sound as well as the Bose.

Bought these for my daughter, who had a set of Bose headphones in the past, but this is the first NC pair we've owned. Was a bit hesitant of the price, but am glad I bought these. The noise canceling feature truly is amazing allowing her to listen to her music without distraction. So far, well worth the price. .

Works very well, bought this to use when traveling and doing yard work. Make sure you get the right package for the device you're using like iPhone or Android since the mic and volume control are designed to work for those devices.

I have been thinking about them for years; now I can't believe I waited so long. They are great for travelling and just relaxing with a good audiobook. I considered other makes because of the price, but after biting the bullet with the cost, I am so glad I did; Bose never disappoints.

We bought these for my husband as he travels a lot and dislikes the airplane engine noise. These headphones not only deliver high quality crystal sound but they totally block all out side noise. These are perfect for the sound enthusiast or the frequent traveler wanting to get away.

I bought these headphones strictly for watching television. I use headphones a lot for watching tv. The wireless headphones I was using tend to amplify background noise, of which there is a lot in my house. The noise cancelling feature of the Bose® - Quietcomfort headphones is simply AMAZING! I can now watch my television programs in peace and quiet. It's like I'm alone in the house when ever I activate the noise cancelling switch. The high price of these headphones almost kept me from purchasing them, but I got over that quickly enough after experiencing the silence that these headphones offer. I did try on some of the lesser expensive headphones, but to me, these Bose Quietcomforts were far more comfortable to wear. And since I would be wearing them for extended periods, this was definitely one of the deciding factors. The four stars is only for the high price. They say that you get what you pay for, and I now don't have any reservations about spending the extra money for these quality headphones.

There is nothing like the rich sound of Bose, and these headphones are no exception. The noise-canceling feature could not work better! I am so pleased with this purchase; I look forward to being able to wear them!

I have been enjoying these Bose headphones for about a month now. Expensive but well worth the price. Phones require a AAA battery and it sucks up the juice but considering the noise cancelling effect I don't really mind it. I heartily recommend them. Way better than Beats.

I'm not really a big Bose fan but these headphones are worth the hype and expense. Noise cancelling works well in my noisy office where I can barely hear myself think.

Awesome! Finally, no more wires to deal with while traveling. If you travel you know that dealing with wires is a pain in a rear. I tend to wear mine while walking in the airport, cab and I take calls while wearing these so not having to deal with a wire is great. These work just as good as my QC25, and for some reason, they are more comfortable. They charge super fast (I use Anker power bank during travel) and no issues. On my android LV V10, I can have my phone in the airplane mode with Bluetooth still on. You can also pair with your notebook if you need to watch a video or take a call.

Changes in flight experience completely, find an island of solitude and paradise amongst the crying babies, the incorrigible gabbers, and the droning engine noise. I would pay $500 for these headphones.

One of the best purchases I have ever made! They are expensive, but well worth the money if you are a traveler. I fly international at least 4 times per year and these have made all the difference. They're able to drown out a crying baby on a 10 hour flight.

I have only used these headphones once while traveling so far, but they work and sound great. Noise cancelation is excellent. the case is very nice and is great protection for the headphones. these headphones are corded, which I really don't mind.

I have had Sony, Beats and now Bose. The Bose noise-canceling headphones are BY FAR the best. Even better since they still can be used in non-noise can celling mode if the battery dies!

I owned a pair of QC15 for a number of years and loved them. Unfortunately I left them on a plane trip to Israel earlier this year and so purchased the QC25s. I really loved the QC15s, but, the new ones are even better than I anticipated!

Overall I am very happy. Great sound but bass is not as loud as I would prefer.

I travel all the time and these earphones block out all the noise around me and the sound is incredible. Nice to be on a plane and just be able to hear a movie, in its entirety!

blocks out noise, can still hear speech, but background noise goes way down. works well on kindle (Netflix), and podcasts on phone (windows phone, don't need a smsg device). they are a bit expensive. fold up into a nice case.

I received these as a gift after looking at them for awhile (Co-workers used them in data centers for the noise reduction). Not only is the noise reduction excellent, the sound quality is great. I use these for conference calls all the time. My only complaint keeping these from being rated 5 stars is my ears tend to get warm after using them for 10 minutes.

Great sound, noise cancellation, and comfortable. Can listen to music for hours.
