I absolutely enjoy music, and what better way to listen to it than with my iPod touch! Unfortunately, I lost my Bose earbuds, and I tried some Beats earbuds as a cheaper alternative. The Beats couldn't hold a candle. I was required to do a lot of physical therapy after an accident, so I decided to go wireless. These are the best! There is an app in the App Store to help you connect your device to the headphones. Two devices can be connected simultaneously; I go between my iPad and my iPod, though I use it with other Apple devices. There are volume and pause buttons on the headphones (sure wish I could control the songs too... guess you can't have it all). These also cover the entire ear, so don't say you weren't warned (gets a little sweaty sometimes). The range/distance is pretty good; I live in an apartment and I can still hear my music on the balcony with the device in the kitchen( 1100 sq ft). As for sound.. phenomenal! I can hear every instrument, the falsetto notes are crystal clear, the bass is not too hard. It's what you'd expect from Bose. If you like heavy bass, I recommend going to your settings and choosing R & B under the EQ menu. All in all, an awesome wireless sound experience.

I spent a lot of time researching headphones before I narrowed my choice down to these or the Sony MDR-1000X. After listening to them both, I found these to be more comfortable, and that was the major key for me. The noise cancelling is excellent, the sound quality is high, there's no lag when connected to (two simultaneous!) devices via bluetooth, and they're super comfortable for long periods. I love these.

Love these headphones, great sound, hands free connection is flawless and quick, and the microphone picks up your voice no problem. I’m buying a second pair as a gift.

The audio quality is great, the noise cancellation technology is everything I would expect it to be and more and they are light enough to not be annoying while you're wearing them. They conform well, are easily adjusted and sync well with my phone, computer and other technology. The only knock for me is that I've only been able to connect to 2 devices and had difficulty connecting it for use with my new PS4.

These headphones are definitely pricey but are worth every penny. There is no headphone that are as comfortable as these. Sound quality is great and the noice cancelling works very well. The headphones do not press on your temples which is one of the reason they are so comfortable. This could be a downside if you plan to use them for working out because the will fall off your head. Besides that they are amazing.

A lot of $$$ for head phones but well worth it. Great noise cancellation for the airplane or when taking online classes at home with family, TV's etc going on around you. Comfortable is an understatement. Like everything else, wireless is the way to go. My only complaint is when I want to crank up the classic rock I could use some more volume. As loud as these go, it is crystal clear, great bass and crisp clean highs.

I cannot say enough about these headphones. They are comfortable, even on a 7 hour flight. I have never felt like they were putting too much pressure around my ears. The sound quality is excellent, whether wireless or wired. The battery life seems great as well. I think they are the best pair of headphones I have purchased to date.

Noise cancelling works extremely well Audio quality is lacking, but decent if you use the included cord and leave them powered off (I.e. Without noise cancelling, which isn't a surprise) Simultaneously connects to my phone and laptop (but can only handle audio from one at a time) Battery life is over a dozen hours Very comfortable and do not get warm or humid like some other headphones I've used

I don't usually write reviews, but these are simply fantastic. When I finally decided to upgrade from my Apple earbuds, I wanted to go big or go home. I went to Best Buy and bought the QC 35's and the new Beats. I thought my trial period would last longer, but I knew the QC 35's were better after minutes of testing. I'm a college student and need my peace to study. People can be having a conversation next to me and I'll have no clue. I can't hear them. The noise cancellation is AMAZING! One of my favorite things to do is to watch people's reaction when the noise cancellation turns on. "Wow! That's cool!" is the usually response. The music is so clear and sounds like it should. I have zero complaints. The battery life is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG! It connects to my iPhone immediately upon turning on and detects my MacBook if that's on as well. Seriously though, no complaints. I would recommend these headphones to anyone. It does seem a little funny saying a pair of headphones is worth $350, but these are worth the money. It's an investment but the return is immediate and often. BUY THEM, YOU WON'T BE SAD!

Purchased these to replace an older set of Beats that also had noise cancellation, but the difference between the two is night and day. I never used to travel with over-the-ear headphones because I didn't want to deal with the bulk, but the performance of these is so much better, it's worth the hassle. Battery life is also stupendous. 6 1/2 hours in the air only took them down to 80%. Bass isn't as prominent as it was with the Beats (obv), but overall sound is great. Much finer volume control, too. Also has the ability to connect to 2 inputs at any given time, but the iOS app will remember even more, and you can switch the two active devices easily. Probably the best set of headphones on the market right now.

    Great on long plane flights!

I bought these because I hate the cabin and engine noise on long plane flights. These worked great on the 5 hr flight to & from Las Vegas. I now use them at work to drown out the background chatter from other cubicles and the HVAC noise. Sudden sounds and voices will cut thru but the steady noises/clatter disappears. The sound quality is fantastic. I use them for both music and audio books. I particularly like that with the noise cancelling I don't need to crank the audio books up to hear them. The blue tooth works well too. I think the advertised distance is 30 ft and mine work from that distance easily. Lastly the clam shell type case provided is a little bulky but it protects the headphones nicely when I stuff them in my backpack that carries my laptop. The one thing I don't like is thar the rechargabke battery isn't easily repaced but I'm expecting not to need to worry about it for a couple years. FYI - I bought these after being frustrated with the ear buds that come with your iPhone. I also tried a less expensive pair of Sony noise ncelling headphones (less than 1/2 the price of the Bose). They worked well for the price but ultimately on the plane flight as I sat in the back near the engine I had to crank up the volume to drown out the engines. That wasn't what I was looking for so I returned them. For my next flight I bought these and they passed the test. I could easily hear my movie, music and audio book from my phone during the flight.

I purchased these after owning the Soundlink II headphones from Bose. Both are excellent in comfort, style, sound, battery life, etc. but I needed something that would cut out some of the noise of my gaming PC I sit next to. These are amazing at eliminating ambient noises and allow me to listen to movies/tv/games at a lower level because I'm not trying to drown outside noises. I would recommend these to everyone.

These are very comfortable and sound great. Noise canceling is the best especially on a plane. The only cons are obviously the price and the fact you cant add things like bass or customize the sound. The wireless is great. I have a different brand for working out (Jaybirds) only because the Bose buds to me are not that great (Comfort or Sound). Best sounding buds I have found but not for working out are Klipsch.

I recently purchased these and flew cross country with them. They do a really great job cancelling jet noise and were very comfortable. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay the $40.00 or so extra for the bluetooth feature but am glad I did as I now use them when mowing and weed eating the yard and don't have to worry about a cord. Plus I can see Apple in the future doing away with cords all together.

Purchased this headphone mainly for airplane use. It really cuts out the outside noise quite a bit making flying much more comfortable. I started using my headphone for sleeping as well. Makes my environment super quiet and it is so comfortable that I am able to sleep with it. The battery time is excellent. I love the carrying case-protects it well. This is a high end product that doesn't disappoint.

I've been waiting for Bose to combine their noise cancelling with Bluetooth and they did this and it work better then any other headphones I have purchased!! I've had the Beats studio wireless and they were good but not great! These are better!! They work even if they are turned off or you have no Batt.. Dont look anywhere else! If you want noise cancelling and want amazing BT experience buy these... Period.

I was going back and forth between Bose and Beats. I travel frequently and wanted something to block out all the noise from airplanes and airports. After trying them both, Bose were not even comparable to the Beats! WAY better!!!! I have had them for over a month and love them! The charge on them lasts for the 20 hours, just as it says! Very comfortable as well!! Couldn't be happier with my purchase

I bought the headphones to use mostly while traveling, but found I use them a lot more while at work and relaxing around the house. The noise canceling function is very effective. The sounds clarity has been exceptional, minus the bass. If you are looking for a lot of bass, you might want to look elsewhere. For me, it is not a real concern. I am more interested in the clarity of the sounds with moderate bass, than to have it be overwhelmed by it. Compared to other headphone or sound systems I usually listen to music on, I found the Bose allows me to hear more subtleties in the music that I have not previously heard before. Never had any issues with the battery. It gets me through the whole day with plenty left. If I do run out of juice, I just plug them directly into my phone. One issue I have noticed is the Bose connect app for the Android phone does not work very well for me and had to resort to using my iPhone.
