I purchased this wireless headphone for my husband. It paired with iPhone and MacBook effortlessly. It’s light weight and comfortable over the ears. It charges to full capacity within an hour. The noise cancelling feature is amazing. My husband used it on a recent flight, this headphone blocked out most of the plane noise and allowed him to sleep while listening to music. My son wants this headphone for his birthday after trying it on. I might have to buy another one.

Was looking to purchase over the ear headphones for my workouts at the gym and I noticed that Bose just released the Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones. I demoed the display at the store and was instantly impressed. First off they are extremely comfortable. They fit over your ears perfectly allowing you to be fully immersed in what you are listening too. When you turn on the headphones the noise canceling instantly turns on and you can notice the difference right away even without music playing. Audio is crisp and clear and it does not force any bass like the Beats headphones do. If you do like a little bit more bass, you can easily change your listening preference in the Bose app. After purchasing the headphones, set up was quick and easy. Charging takes no time at all and with a 20 hour battery life (and it is truly 20 hours) you can go a few days without actually having to charge them. Though these headphones do come with a hefty price tag, they are worth every penny as Bose delivers premium sound without the wires.

The sound cancellation and comfort level on these headphones are amazing. The sound cancellation feels like you are inside an isolated pressure cabin and once you turn on some music you are isolated from the world. The shape of the ear cups fit perfectly around my big ears and inside prevented the ears from resting on any plastic.
However, there were a few things that led me to returning them. The sound from them, though not horrible, just sounded muffled. There was bass that tickled my ears, almost too much bass even at low volumes, but then there were mids with a lack of crisp highs. The maximum volume level also seemed lower than other headphones I have. Even though they have an app for headphones, there are no settings to adjust sound, such as an EQ. I guess this is because it is Bose and they want their sound to be what you hear.
Another thing that was a disappointment, and some may see this as petty, is that you can’t use the microphone when using the wired connection. The wire they provide is a 3 pin wire that only allows for left/right audio. This meant that the microphone only worked when paired through Bluetooth. This prevents the headphones from working with the majority of gaming consoles and placing calls while wired to a phone. There are simple and cheap solutions that can bypass this situation, but not something I should have to do for such a pricey pair of headphones.
The Bose Connect app is also pretty much useless. It allows you to set sleep timers, which don’t seem to work, and update the firmware, which takes forever. It was going to be over an hour for it to update the headphones using my phone, but using a PC, on the same wireless network, it was only a matter of minutes. Had the app allowed a little more customization of headphone use I may have rated this higher, especially if I could have adjusted the sound.

Without a doubt, these headphones are the absolute best with regards to just how well the ANC technology works. Whether on a plane, in the car on a long drive, on the bus, or subway... if you want to block out that annoying and constant droning, you need these headphones and no others. The Bose Quiet Comfort are very comfortable and lightweight. The battery is quite long-lasting.
There is one downside, however, and it is that the moment the headphone's noise cancellation is turned on the bluetooth is turned on with it and thus it will attempt to connect to the previously connected device (and audibly let you know about it) repeatedly until either 3 connection attempts have been reached or it finally connects. This is seriously the only issue I have with these cans...
Of course the sound quality is great on these Bose headphones, from lows to mids and highs and back, you can really hear everything. Take it from me, I'm an audiophile and take my classical compositions very seriously. :)

I've had a set of Beats before these for about the same price these not only sound better they are lighter and feel more durable. What's even better if you forgot to charge them and battery dies they come with a cable you can just plus into your headphone jack.
My only issue is if there's a pause in the music the noise canceling makes your ears feel a weird pressure if that makes sense. The beats did not do that. That being said these do much better at actually canceling out outside noise so that may be the trade off.
Buttons for volume play pause work awesome on my Alienware laptop, iPhone and MacBook. Best off all there isn't a delay from your source to the headphones. Some Bluetooth headphones (even speakers) I've had if you're watching a movies the words come through like a full second after the picture. These are right on.
I love them so much actually started using this for my professional video editing.
They aren't cheap by any means but for the quality and comfort well worth the money.

I purchased 2 pair of the headphones for my spouse and myself, prior to an overseas flight. My husband loved the headphones. He used them for the entire flight. He reported that he enjoys the sound quality, the long life of the battery and the comfort.
I now find him using the headphones at home when he reads to eliminate background noises of the house and neighborhood. This is the first thing to pack for our trips!

Especially if you travel frequently or commute on a noisy train, these headphones are completely worth the investment. As expected with Bose products, the sound quality is the best I've ever heard, noise canceling features (especially with the app) very impressive, and comfort to wear remarkable. Battery life is also impressive, easily making it through even on a long international flight.

These have been amazing. The noise cancelling is awesone, especially on planes or public places. The sound quality is exceptional and i think they look and feel great. I have been able to wear them for hours without discomfort. The battery lasts for a very long time and i have used them in multiple situations within a few weeks without having to charge them.

The noise canceling is excellent, the sound is excellent, bluetooth pairing is super easy and reliable, the battery life is super long, they are comfortable and don't smush my head or give me a headache or ear ache, they look cool... They're just fantastic. I've heard new things and sounds in songs that I've been listening to for years.

I was very happy with this headset. I'd previously been purchasing $25 earbuds, and was curious what springing for something nicer does for the experience. In short, a lot.
I'm really happy with the fit; they stay comfortable over long periods of listening. I like that they cover my ear instead of rest on them. I really enjoy that they fold up and fit nicely into the leather carrying case. They pair nicely, and they toggle between wired/wireless seamlessly. The batteries last forever (10 minutes of charging keeps them going all day). I like the tactile buttons for skipping, volume control, etc.
I don't really have anything bad to say about them. The price is fairly steep, but they do everything I want them to, so I don't really mind that.
You should buy these headphones.

I upgraded from QC 25, I don't see much difference from QC 25 in terms of audio, but noise cancellation over wireless is very good feature which I wanted from days old.
Pros:
- 80% of background noise is gone when the noise canceling is active with NO audio. Up to 90% of background noise is gone when you start playing your favorite songs or have audio. You do hear people talking or a bit of noise, but it's faint. If you're enjoying the music, you're not going to hear anything
- comfortable. I'm a natural type of guy. No watches, bracelets, ear rings...etc. Needless to say, I don't like to wear anything. After using these for a few days, I now feel I need them. i can use them for hours.
- Wireless. Not a big deal nowadays, but it's a pro nonetheless. Answering call feature worked for me in my office. I received a call and worked out perfect. The other person heard me fine.
- Includes airplane adapters - I haven't tried them on a plane, yet. Will report back to see if it's convenient or do i need to buy more adapters.
Cons:
- Expensive
- The only thing I felt Bose could've done was do more research on sleeping w/ these headphones on or using them for extended periods for traveling. I tried to use it w/ one of those neck pillows and it always rubbed. You could hear the rubbing noise or crackling noise.
- no batteries. pros/cons. You have to compromise at some point. Because of this, it may not last as long as the QC25, but hopefully, they'll redesign better for QC45? But we're talking at least 5 years.

I feel a bit spoiled because I received these as a gift for fathers day. My goodness, they sound wonderful. The Bluetooth feature worked without fuss, and I am amazed at the battery life. After 2 hours of use, it still informs me through audio message that I am at 100% battery life.
The fit is very comfortable to the point where I just want to put them on for that soft cushy sensation on my ears.
Of course, you purchase something like this for the sound quality, and these things are the best headphones I have ever heard. Crystal clear highs, rich detailed mids and deep, but not over boomy, bass tones.
Overall, these headphones are well worth the price (especially for me since they were a gift) and I would highly recommend them.

These are great headphones. First, the noise cancelling is very impressive. I can mow the grass on my riding mower and not hear the mower running with music at normal volume. It's simply amazing. The sound quality is very clear with a very wide dynamic range. There is good bass but it's not boomy like some might like for hip hop music. The QC35's are very comfortable. I will forget that I even have them on. Battery life is also good. They last me almost a week and a half with about 2 hours of listening per day.
The only con of course is the price. Hard to swallow 350 bucks for headphones but it is a very worthwhile investment for what you get if you love your music without wires and outside noise.

I talked myself out of buying these a few times because of the price. I recently decided to take the plunge and I was reminded that you get what you pay for. These are by far the most amazing headphones I have ever owned. The Bose sound is unmatched, paired with the noise cancelling, they put you in your own world. The Bluetooth function reaches from my device to any room in my house. I usually use them at least an hour a day and can go nearly two weeks on a single charge. So lightweight and comfortable you forget you have them on. I can't give these headphones enough accolades. Superior high quality sound and performance. Everything you would expect from Bose. They are expensive, but they are worth every penny.

I was heading to Japan on a long flight and needed some new headphones with noise cancellation. I had previously borrowed my sister's older Bose wired headphones and thought they were great for flights. So I researched online which were best now, and came to the conclusion that these Q35's were for me. A bit expensive, but worth it.
I has paired both my iPad and iPhone to these and was ready to go. Kept them on for most of the flight watching downloaded movies, but when I did intermittently take them off, the airplane noise was unbearable! So glad I bought these Q35's, no wires, noise cancellation and very light and comfortable.
The battery charge lasted me for over 15 hours (to and from Japan).

At last, after having wasted hundreds of dollars on sub $150 headphones, I forked out the $300+ for this Bose with great trepidation and a huge hurt to my wallet. What a surprise!!! Simply stated - BUY THESE WITHOUT QUESTION. THEY ARE THE BEST. In addition to being wireless, the extraordinary level of noise canceling is astounding. The Bose App that you can download, handles all firmware updates seamlessly. DO NOT FORGET TO GET THE BOSE APP AND INSTALL THE UPDATES. It makes a huge difference to the performance of the headphones. The SIMPLICITY AND EASE OF USE of the headphones is phenomenal.
1) ON-OFF switch has three positions. OFF, ON, PAIRING
2) ON position is the middle position. As soon as you turn on, Bose tells you the level of battery capacity you have in percentage - like "battery 70%".
3) The third position of the ON-OFF switch is when you move it further out and the springloaded switch comes back to ON. This "move and release" position will tell you if any devices are paired and the specific names of the devices.
4) You can easily unpair and re-pair devices by simply holding the ON-OFF switch for 3 seconds in the third position and releasing it. At all times, Bose gives you voice commands so you know exactly what to do. NO NEED TO READ A HUGE MANUAL AND REMEMBER COMPLICATED BUTTON MANEUVERS. You do of course need to read the quick set up instructions to become familiar with the basic operations.
5) You can have up to 2 devices connected via Bluetooth. The headphones always tell you WHICH TWO DEVICES are connected when you turn them on.
6) If No Devices are paired, the headphones will tell you none are paired and "it is ready to pair".
7) Besides the awesome sound quality and outstanding noise canceling, the built in microphones are truly SUPERB FOR TAKING PHONE CALLS. In fact, I use these headphones whenever I have to call companies where I am put on HOLD FOR EVER. Like Airlines, various companies for tech or troubleshooting support. Now I just keep my phone in my pocket and wearing the headphones go about my other tasks till the support rep comes online.
8) The headphones come with a beautiful hard case, and artistically fold to snugly fit into the case.
9) Charging is easy with the provided USB cable. Also, so far, one charge lasts numerous hours. Not sure how much this will deteriorate with age and use.
10) Let me explain my simplicity and ease of use comment above. There is just one slender, sturdy, button on the right headphone that has its ends raised with the middle being flat that you use as follows:
A) Push one raised end or the Other raised end to raise and lower volume.
B) Push the middle flat portion of the button ONCE to pause music or RECEIVE A PHONE CALL.
C) Push the same middle flat portion of the button TWICE IN SUCCESSION to move back one song OR THRICE IN SUCCESSION to move forward one song.
THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT.
I initially bought the silver colored Bose headphones. I so loved them that my wife wanted to test drive them to see why I was raving about them so much. The problem was that I NEVER GOT THEM BACK. She took them for herself. This forced me to buy another pair (the black ones) for myself!!!! So we now each have our own, Bose QC- 35s.
One last point. We travelled to California last month and could barely hear the plane noise throughout our flight. The noise canceling is SO GOOD that when you have them ON and someone speaks to you standing right beside you, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR THEM AT ALL even when the music is barely playing.

Right when i opened it for the first time, it had 70% battery life. I was surprised that i used it for a week with avg use of 3-4 hours per day without having to charge it. Great well balanced sound and no noticeable lag with Bluetooth. Great for wireless talks on the phone as well. Seems very pricy but worth it. Noise cancellation is good as well cant complain. Another plus is you can wear this for hours on end and not feel unconfortable. I would recommend this to anyone that is on the go traveling a lot. And wants a high quality product with rich well balanced sound. From listening to music, watching a flick or chatting it up with someone on the phone.

Buy for noise cancelation

If you are buying these for anything other than the sound cancelation, get other headphones.
The QC35's are great headphones, very comfortable, not too heavy, durable build, good Bluetooth connection, 20hr batter life, good sound and excellent noise cancelation.
There are better headphones for base lovers, better headphones for extended battery and better Bluetooth range, better headphones for sound quality but there are not headphones with better sound cancelation, even if you have a larger budget.
I love these headphones, and purchased them for use at coffee shops and other loud areas. But what I did not factor in, which ultimately lead to me returning them, is their bulk.
When I took them home, my first instinct was to use them. After spending $350 on something you want to get your use from them. But, because it completely canceled out the sound around me, it was not optimal. When family was around or someone was trying to get my attention, they ran onto unhearing ears. Not a bad thing at a coffee shop, not something I wanted at home.
The other thing that I did not consider was the added bulk. It should have been something I considered, but having always used earbuds it didn't cross my mind. Whenever I moved around or had to talk with someone I would need to take them off, turn them off, put them in their case and tuck them away. You don't want to leave expensive headphones laying on a table.
The one thing that could improve the headphones drastically, is the ability to turn off the noise cancellation.
If you fly in planes a lot, go to public places where you need a zone, these are for you.
If you want the best audio, the best battery life, the best base or something you can use on the fly, there are better options to consider for this price point or even less.
I ended up settling with Marshal Monitor headphones, not Bluetooth but the sound quality is excellent, the build quality is great, they look great and they only cost me $48, can be found for $60.
Put simply, buy them for noise cancellation.
