This is my 3rd QC set, but first Bluetooth. They sound as good as my previous sets. My primary use is enjoying the noise canceling and music on airplanes, especially long flights overseas. Cutting the cord is the best thing ever! The new travel case is more compact which is nice for my backpack. These are much better than the so called "deluxe" head phones in business class. When needed to watch airplane movies, they work fine on a cord as well. The noise canceling alone on a plane or other noisy environments is a blessing.

I was in the market for noise-cancelling headphones immediately following a flight in which a baby cried for the entire 5 hour duration. I did a bunch of research on a variety of different brands and models and ultimately Bose consistently stood out. My criteria was the following: 1. Noise Cancelling Quality 2. Battery Life 3. Sound Quality 4. Comfort I would say there are other brands that have better sound quality and maybe marginally better battery life, but I am no audio-phile and a 20-hour battery life is more the sufficient (The best i reviewed for battery life was 22-23 hours, so not much difference). For NC functioanlity, Bose is still top of the class, and my main use of this was to remove all the cry babies and other sounds during my travels. I put this bad boy to the test the first week I got it. Took a trip to South Korea a 16 hour flight that includes a layover in SF and the headphones lasted the entire flight with 20% juice left. Moreover, I would wear these for 2-3 hours at a time (sometimes longer) and beyond some sweating, there was no discomfort. These headphones were super comfortable and definitely did the job. I would recommend these to everyone. I actually bought 2 pairs for my brothers as Christmas presents since they were so jealous!

Noise canceling is excellent. Very comfortable and easy to use. Controls are well place and work well. I use it for Gym. Light and comfortable. Sound is good. Clear and crisp. Ability to adjust sound would be nice from app. Battery last as advertised. Would be nice to adjust little stronger bass but good product. Have been using it for month and my go to cans.

I work in a relatively loud office, and wanted something that could drown out the noise of machinery, other people's phone conversations, etc. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but these are by far the best sounding headphones I've ever used -- and most importantly, to me, they block out 95% of the noise in my office and allow me to better focus on my work. I was debating between buying the Sony MDR-1000X's and these, and tried both on in the store. While the Sony's definitely had some neat extra features, I found that the Bose earcups went fully around my ears, while the Sony's were rubbing up against the top of them. It wouldn't be a big deal for short listening periods, but I have these headphones on for approximately 8 hours a day, so comfort was a top priority for me. Lastly, battery life is fantastic. I've gone several work days in a row without having to re-charge them, unlike an old pair of bluetooth headphones I had where if I didn't remember to charge them while I was out of the office for lunch, I wouldn't be able to listen to any music for the rest of the work day. I highly, highly recommend these headphones for anyone who values noise cancellation, comfort, and battery life in a pair a headphones.

The sound quality is amazing. I was able to enjoy the quality of the headphones while on a 4 hour flight. Truly cancels sorroundings sounds while your enjoy music. The battery life is also a plus. Fits really well. The only minus would be its price. Would recommend to anyone.

picked these up for a few long flights and glad i did... noise cancelling feature does a great job of cutting down on ambient noise, and battery life was just as promised... rich bass and full sound on music to my untrained ear, and audio books were crystal clear... simple to connect via bluetooth (and the bose app is easy to navigate as well for fine tuning)

I bought these headphones after some previous positive experiences with Bose noise cancelling in-ear headphones. I work in an open office plan with plenty of noise that can make it hard to focus. With these headphones, I can block out my surroundings without having to blast music at uncomfortably loud levels. The fit of the ear cups is very comfortable and the noise cancelling is outstanding. They are easy to connect to my phone and control. I have little to no issue with the Bluetooth signal quality. I've also had a chance to use these on an airplane and I was not disappointed. I was able to watch a movie while drowning out the constant hum of the engines and the surrounding people. Additionally, they come with a convenient and sturdy carrying case that stores the USB charging cable, an audio cable for direct connections as well as an adapter for the dual audio jacks you sometimes see in airplanes. The battery life is great, lasting well over a week of my use at work. It's convenient that it announces the remaining battery life each time it starts up, but the battery life can also be viewed on the paired device or via the smartphone app. All in all this is a great product that I use daily.

Many years ago I had a fairly inexpensive set of noise canceling headphones. I used them with my year 2000 vintage Archos Juke Box MP3 player and third party RockBox open source software. The combo could produce some amazing bass as well as stereo separation that seemed better than a live performance. I decided to revive my old MP3 player and wanted a new set of headphones. After reading some reviews I decided to go all out and get the Quietcomfort 35. Since they are wired and Bluetooth it gives me some versatility for other devices. The noise canceling is amazing. Although I have not used them on an airplane the reduction in noise is probably 90%. The sound quality is amazing. My favorite cut is a live version of Hotel California by the Eagles. With the Quietcomfort headset I have discovered things on the track that I had not heard before. For me the over the ear design is very comfortable. The included case is very nice and has storage for the wire when you need it. The battery life seems very good and wired you can listen for weeks an hour per day and never go below 50% power. Power level and some settings are announced via the headset audio. If your budget can afford it you won't be disappointed.

I use this headset all the time. I have it paired with my MacBook Pro and my iPhone. I love how I can listen to music from my Mac and still receive calls from my phone at the same time. The headset will automatically pause and resume the music. A little voice in the headset tells me who's calling as well as battery percentage when it's turned on. I also use it for conference calls on HighFive, HipChat, and ScreenHero. Battery life is amazing. The noise cancelling is the best for airplane trips. The bass and overall sound quality is of course Bose-mazing. This headset is also very light and the ear pads are very soft, making it very comfortable to wear for a long time.

By far the most comfortable pair of headphones that I have ever had the pleasure to wear. The Active Noise Cancellation is the best in the market by far. The sound quality is of the upper echelon that Bose consistently sets the bar for. The battery life has surpassed my expectations and will play for extremely long periods of time at max volume with the most crisp, clear and accurate sounds with absolutely zero distortion. The mobile management app allows for extremely easy management to switch between multiple devices on the fly which is also accomplished quite well from the headphones without management. The microphone is incredibly sensitive and I have heard zero complaints from anyone on the other end of the phone with regards to the mic being oversensitive. The comments have been on the opposite end of the spectrum with others actually saying that they would be going to be hurrying off to purchase a pair of their own. It would be a drastic understatement to say that I am extremely happy with my headphones. If you can handle wearing a full size but amazing set of headphones then you should quit reading this review and go get a pair for yourself and enjoy the experience that they will give you!!!!!

I didn't read product reviews before purchasing this item because I purchased it the day that it was released. I actually was frustrated that Bose had only a corded noise cancelation model and a separate Bluetooth model that didn't have noise cancelation. I really wanted the wireless functionality for convenience. So I was ready to purchase the Bluetooth only model for $250, when I noticed that Bose had just released this new QC35 product on June 5th for $100 more that had both Noise Cancelation technology and Bluetooth capability. I was so pumped up and excited. Price was not an issue, I simply wanted the best of the best with both features in one product and Bose delivered. Needless to say I absolutely love these headphones. They are really awesome, good quality, and in my opinion very comfortable. I bought the silver color so they don't get confused with others at work. I am glad that I did this as they are really classy looking.

Headphones are the best on the market. Best for sound, and noise cancelling. Easy set up for bluetooth. Amazing battery. Great construction. Comfy. I have a huge head, and its hard to find most headphones that fit well. Try them out in the store! I was hesitant to spend $350 on a pair of headphones, but after 10 minutes of use, worth it.

These headphones are absolutely amazing. They are a significant upgrade from the previous Bose wired version that I owned. The ability to connect up to 2 devices simultaneously (via Bluetooth) and to also use the cable (if necessary), which is supplied with the headphones, is a huge plus as well (especially when travelling on a plane and using the monitors behind the seats). The Bose app on my smartphone also connects flawlessly to the headphones as well giving even more options for use.

Wow! I have had a lot of headphones over the years and these are the best, travelling or at home! Sounds good with excellent noise cancellation. Very comfortable over the ear. Bluetooth works great. The toggle switch is easy to use on the headphones. Battery life is excellent. Smaller case is easier when travelling. Really works well for me...

Bose has hit it out of the park with the QC 35. The fit, comfort, noise canceling and sound quality are exceptional. Battery life is good and does not require long to charge. The bluetooth connectivity can use some work. Sometimes there's interference when connected to multiple devices and it's better to have just one device paired at a time.

I'm extremely pleased with the listening experience these provide. While reviews note the QC35s may not be the preferred choice of audiophiles and the cost may seem excessive, the majority of listeners will be more than satisfied with the audio quality. I'll admit the price point seems high, however I feel it's justified given the functionality and quality, especially when looking at comparable products. The noise cancellation is great for creating a quiet place for myself on a plane or at the office, but it also contributes to a heightened listening experience by allowing you to better hear the nuances of the music, something I hadn't considered during my research. Additionally, these cans are lightweight without feeling like they're cheaply made, which makes wearing them on a long flight a pleasure. I also enjoy the QC35's ability to connect to two devices simultaneously and their intuitive control buttons, as well as the relatively seamless interface with my smartphone a nice bonus. The built-in microphone also contributes to my satisfaction by allowing me to take calls with the press of a button or voice command via the QC35's high-fidelity microphone.

May be expensive, but for the price range the sound quality is excellent. Bass and treble, highs mids and lows are all well balanced. Very comfortable ear cups with premium alcantara headband. The battery life is excellent and for being wireless and noise cancelling they lasted me 2 weeks listening to them about an hour to two hours a day.

I had always thought noise cancellation headphones were a little gimmicky. I had just never sampled good ones until now. I compared these instore to the Bose Soundlink wireless headphones, which have three main differences: the QC35s have active noise cancellation, have a slightly longer battery life and are $120-$150 more expensive than the Soundlink ones. The noise cancellation feature alone makes a big difference and is worth the some-$100-$150 premium for the QC35 IMHO. It's a little like having your ears plugged on an airplane, except you can hear the isolated music. It's a pretty amazing technology, and the best headphones I'd ever tried, although I haven't tried many. The headphones are also comfortable. I also like how when you put them on it tells you what device it's connected to, and the remaining battery life (otherwise you wouldn't know until you ran out.) The only slight problem is that my ears get hot after wearing them for a while so I have to take them off to air my ears out. Probably the price you have to pay for the sound quality of over-ear headphones. I'm super psyched about these headphones.
