bought this after being dissapointed with several other over the ear alternatives. My wife who hates such things now "borrows" it regularly, as the noise reduction is just fantastic. I use it for streaming movies and listening to spotify. Its a "must have" on a plane. The noise cancellation without distortion or new noise is outrageous, its really something.

I had the soundLink 2 an had an excellent sound. but with the QC35 there's another level of sound cuality.

These work great and keep out back round sound. Used during a 4 hour plane ride and worked amazing.

I was waiting for a long time for Bose to release a wireless over ear QC. It doesn't work for me though. The Noise Cancelling feature influences the sound quality in a bad way, and also creates pressure on my internal ears. It's a shame, I had to return it. I was really hoping to like it, but NC feature doesn't work for everyone. Try it in your 2-week return period so you're not stuck with something that does not work with your ears. Unfortunately the NC HAS to be on in wireless mode, I wish there was a way to only turn it on when needed (flights, etc). The good points: beautiful design & ergonomics, lightness, folds nicely, okay sound when wired and NC is turned off.
