These headphones were very comfortable, and fit over my ears well. The bluetooth connection was strong, and the sound was pretty good. However, the thing that annoyed me and pushed me to return these was the fact that the active noise cancelling couldn't be turned off. I used the Bose QC30 at work, and I like the ability to only use noise cancelling when I need it, as the "pressure" of the active noise cancelling is annoying when it is not loud enough to need it. I assumed the QC35's would have the same basic feature set, but active noise cancelling is ALWAYS on when the headphones are on. So while these are good headphones, I returned them. If always-on active noise cancelling doesn't bother you, then these headphones are still good!

Out of the box the Bose Quiet Comfort QC35 comes in an attractive carrying case with a relatively small footprint for over the ear headphones. Easy to fit in carry on luggage on airplanes. They come packaged with a USB cable for charging, a wire for connecting to non Bluetooth devices and a double prong adapter. The headphones are attractive, light and appear to be high quality. The ear cups are very soft against your head and the part that sits on your head is very soft and flexible. There are slide adjustments for proper size fit. The ear cups are clearly marked R and L on the interior. The quick start guide is easy to understand. The controls are very intuitive. The power button also pairs to your Bluetooth devices. The headphone will tell you it is ready to pair, and then announces the name of the device to which it is paired. It will also tell you exactly how much battery power is left every time you turn your headphones on. My headphones came with 70% power. I charged it to 100% by connecting to my computer USB. There are 2 switches, both on the right ear. One is for power and Bluetooth pairing. The other is for volume, answering your paired phone, ff and rewind, and ignore call. The microphone is built into the right earpiece. Answering my phone was easy and sound was clear at both ends of the conversation. I used the headphones with my phone and my tablet alternating between a Bluetooth and a wired connection. I found both connections to give excellent sound with no glitches. I was able to walk around my 1500 square foot apartment without losing a connection. I was particularly struck by the clarity of the sound. Overall sound quality is typical Bose excellence. But the main attribute, to me, was the noise cancellation. I am particularly sensitive to ambient noises and this just simply shut them out. From the moment you turn them on, the world around you seems to disappear. Are there headphone that can give you equal or better sound? Maybe. But are there headphones that can give you the high quality sound combined with great noise cancellation? I haven't found any. These headphones are perfect for airline travel. The only cons are minor. There is some pressure in your ear, which may bother some people, though it is only slight. When you turn the power off there are 3 loud beeps, too loud in my opinion. If you store the wires in the sleeve provided in the case, it then becomes hard to close. So you end up folding up the wires tightly and pushing them into a small space by the headphones.

Bose QC of any model are the best headphones ever so to add WiFi is even better.

I've waited a long time for this "Over The Ear" model. I've had other brands but no one beats Bose's "noise cancelling" technology. I can finally mow my lawn in quiet comfort. Then add all the other features such as rechargeable (incredible battery life), wireless (no cords), answer phone calls with built in mic, and for your music appreciation, it's got that awesome Bose sound. It's an amazing device!!

These are great wireless headphones but when compared to the Sony 1000x you notice how these could be better. The Bose are great for multiple devices and switching between them. I also like the physical buttons better than the touch sensitive controls on the Sony. But the Sony has better sound quality and noise cancelling in my opinion. The Sony wireless headphones also have a stronger connection to your device -- much stronger. It was unbelievable how far I could get from my phone or tablet with the Sony headphones. I can barely walk out of eye sight with the Bose headset. You do pay less for the Bose headset which is another plus. I would recommend either headset but if Sony and Bose made a wireless headset together, it would be awesome.
